I can’t recommend Crawl Space Techs enough. I got estimates from 6 companies for my project and theirs was the most comprehensive and at a lower cost! The crew that worked on my home were friendly, mannerly, efficient, and skilled. I had old underfloor insulation removed, old vapor barrier removed and replaced (done correctly this time!), access door replaced, and a second access opening cut. When they left there was no trace of all the garbage they had to deal with. I highly recommend Crawl Space Techs for their quality of work and fair pricing!

I did not grow up in the South and knew next to nothing about crawlspaces, so to my absolute horror, when mine became terribly flooded, eventually causing the central floor in my home to sag, I did not know what to do. Stressed out doesn’t quite cover it (especially since this occurred roughly within a year of purchasing my home!). After getting some opinions and gaining an understanding of the gravity of the situation, I knew I had to act quickly to correct things, and so I began to get quotes from a variety of crawlspace companies for the work that needed doing.

On an actual whim, I decided to reach out to just one more company before hiring someone, and I am so happy that I made that last call.

I think all of the 5⭐reviews I’ve read here for the Crawl Space Techs echo my own feelings about this Team. They made such an impression from initial contact (thank you, Andrew!), that I knew immediately that I was going to hire them. And it didn’t stop there. From the completion of the actual work (thank you, Alex, Devon, Jason & the electricians!) through to the settlement of payment (thank you, Charity!), I had nothing but a positive and real experience with these folks who each, in their own way, took the time to make sure I understood what was happening and answered any questions that came up.

I can honestly say I see (and smell) the difference in my home already once that sump pump got to doing its thaaang... and the support beam they installed for the floor gives me peace of mind. Keep up the good work!

Andrew came out to do the estimate on cracks in my foundation I had noticed. He did a thorough assessment and explained everything in detail. Andrew was very professional and patient in helping me to understand the problem and what was needed to correct it. I had moved to middle Tennessee from a much different climate and had never experienced problems caused by moisture.

A few days later I had noticed some cracking in the drywall upstairs. I called Andrew to ask if it could be somehow related to the foundation. He listened to my concerns and agreed to do a further assessment. Andrew was not immediately available so Jason came out and did another very thorough assessment. Between Andrew and Jason, I felt very comfortable in moving forward with their recommendations.

Justin, the foreman also took time to talk with me and go over all of the work. He was very kind and also patient with my questions. Justin also removed a snake from the entrance of the garage. That alone was enough for me to give Crawl Space Techs a 5 star rating!

I can't speak highly enough about the folks at Crawlspace Techs. My first interaction was with Andrew. He showed up on time with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude. He let me tag along to answer any of my questions that I had. He was up front and forth coming with answers, and I felt he tried to keep my budget/needs in mind. He even went out of his way to assist with concerns that were beyond his initial visit. Andrew checked on the progress to assure I was happy with the service as well. Much appreciated. The next interaction was with Matthew and Justin. Such a great crew of guys they had. Matthew called on day one of installation of the encapsulation. We had some drainage issues and needed repairs made. Andrew came out and did a thorough inspection. He never tried to up sell. He was honest and even after he left he immediately answered my many questions I sent. We chose to go ahead and not only put the drainage system in but also encapsulate. Justin and his crew were here all week. Everyday he provided us with what was going on and pictures. Both Andrew and Justin went above and beyond my expectations. Good customer service is so hard to find now days but not with this company. I gladly would do business with them again.

Crawl Space Techs did a great job on our crawl space. They were very honest and straight forward with their quote. Images were provided before, during, and after. The guys working at our house were very professional and kept us informed from day to day as they were working, which was greatly appreciated.

I had a great experience with Crawl Space Techs. We own an old (ca. 1910) home in East Nashville, and some of the floor supports in a difficult-to-access area of the crawl space had suffered termite damage some years ago and had never really been addressed. The Crawl Space Techs team was the only crew I could find that was willing to get into that space and assess the extent of the repairs. We got a fair estimate from them, and within a matter of weeks they carried out the repairs, which included the use of steel beams for no additional charge (and which were not contemplated in their original estimate). They completed the job in only one day, rather than the two they had originally estimated. And now we've got a permanent solution to an area of the foundation that had been problematic for years. I'd happily recommend this company, particularly for hard-to-access jobs that other companies may not be equipped to handle.

My appreciation goes out to Andrew, Jason, Troy and his crew for a job well done. I had extremely high humidity and water droplets on my floor joist and foundation sills as well as mold on the joists and subfloor wood. External water was migrating up the foundation block walls causing the high humidity and mold as well as high moisture content in the wood. After removing the mold and spraying and the encapsulation and the installation of the dehumidifier, the water droplets disappeared, and the wood moisture dropped to around 10% and the humidity level is being maintained at around 55%. This all happened within two weeks after the completion of the job. I no longer smell mold and mildew in the house and Luke and his crew were very prompt in performing the work at my home which was appreciated seeing that I have COPD. All of the personnel at Crawl Space Techs were very professional and courteous and performed the work in a very timely manner. I would recommend Crawl Space Techs very highly to anyone with a crawl space moisture problem.

I had my crawl space encapsulated about 3 weeks ago and I am very glad I did. Luke and his team did a great job and explained what they were doing along the way. Anyone considering encapsulating their crawl space should definitely choose Crawl Space Techs!

We bought our first house with a crawlspace, and didn't like the idea that even with the vents closed, cold or moist air would still get in. So we looked into encapsulation to seal off the space. We called several companies to come out and give us a quote, and Andrew from Crawl Space Techs gave us the best recommendations along with a fair quote. Matt came out with his team of Alex and Devin and did a great job. Highly recommend this company.

I called the company to get an estimate for a vapor barrier for my crawl space. A person came out and did a site survey, and then tried to sell a host of options that I did not ask for or want. When I got the quote by email, it did not have a price for the crawl space ONLY work, just their full encapsulation package.

I called the company several times and asked about the crawl space quote, and never got a response. The tech that did the survey said a vapor barrier installation would be about $700 but he never wrote that in the quote. The full encapsulation with dehumidifier was over $5000.

If this company does not want to do a simple vapor barrier job, they should not advertise it. They try to scare you into work you don't really need, but providing a lot of 'what if' scenarios.

I ended up putting a vapor barrier in myself, with my son helping. It cost about $200 and a half day of work. I'm glad your business is so good that you can ignore customers.

Edit- just did a warranty claim - I'm extremely pleased with how simple the process was. They sent a representative for both the mechanical side and the electrical side. Both sides have earned my business for any future crawl space and electrical needs.

I had a huge problem with moisture inside my house after Andrew inspected it was coming from my crawl space. He was very thorough and took time to take pictures and explained in detail what was going on under my house. I had three estimates from other places however at first looking at them the prices appeared cheaper however the installation was on a limited warranty and other services not being on the invoice average up to 3 K more that were not mentioned in the invoice.
On last Friday 11/12/21 Justin and his team of guys started the job and finished today 11/16/21. I have not encountered such friendly staff in some time. Justin took pictures everyday of the process and what they accomplished. They reported each morning with a friendly smile and attitude although working under a house for three days is really no fun. When I seen my finished product it was just like pictures posted on the website. Very detailed and professionally done. Justin and his team put a lo5 of pride in this kind of work. I want o make sure they receive some type of recognition for a job well done. If you have never been in your crawl space before I recommend to check it out there is stuff going on. I am very happy with choosing this Team. I can only recommend them to everyone.

We had a wonderful experience with Crawlspace techs. This was our second Crawlspace company to have an experience with and they were really the best.

The whole process of getting our problem solved was smooth and impressive! Andrew first came out and took plenty of time explaining to me whatever i had a question about-letting me play devil's advocate for everything. He took at least 40 pictures, measured, and gave detailed explanations. He and everyone at this company have had great response times for texting. On the day of service, Justin and his crew-Chance and Jake-came and started the most uncomfortable part of the task. He was flexible and offered me to do mold remediation sooner in the process, knowing that I wanted that done. At the end of the first work day, Justin said they were going to do two more tasks than Andrew had originally anticipated, at no charge(!!), because starting the work had revealed some issues originally not anticipated. The whole four days they were here, they did a great job being thorough, showing us the process. Justin continually kept us updated, and answered any questions. At the end, he sent me multiple pictures of the finished work. I will always highly recommend this company! From start to finish, they were excellent!

I will start off by saying, Jason is a very professional craftsman. He is very personable, very communicative, and takes pride in his work. Crawlspace Techs were also the best value for triple the amount of work done compared to other places we had come give us estimates. We had the French drains installed, we had a sump pump installed, we had the crawlspace encapsulated, we needed partial girdle replacement, and support joists installed. Triple the work for half of the cost compared to other foundation specialists. Now, for the workers... they were all prompt, kept us in the loop with progress, and were professional. I highly recommend this crew and if you hire them you will be helping a family business rather than paying the big bucks for a corporation and get work just as good if not better. 10/10

I had them come out to inspect my crawlspace because there was water pooling. They were highly knowledgeable on crawl spaces and did not try and sell me any extra products. I feel they treated my house as if they were working on there own house.

There was an issue with a driver of theirs. In less than 30 minutes they not only contacted me for an incident report, but reprimanded the offender and followed up with me.

My family and I was in a huge bind behind a negligent and incompetent builder who took us for about $60k. The foundation wasn't done in the correct manner, so it was constantly taking on water in the crawlspace. To get our letter of Occupancy we had to get it fixed. Crawl Space Techs came highly recommended after I got quotes from all of the brand name and local businesses. The number one tech Jason told me all the stuff I needed and didn't need, even knew what the other guys tried to up sell me on without me even saying a word (like he had psychic powers lol, or maybe because he possibly worked there in his past life). He and his crew did exactly what they said they would do, and completed the job to my satisfaction. And if I have a future problem they will come out and make it right if it is still under the warranty. He even worked me on price and financing. Company is really good and worth the phone call, you will be happy.. I promise!!

I very rarely write reviews good or bad but I have to give a five star rating to this company. Several years ago I had an estimate given to me for drying out and cleaning up my crawl space. It was from one of the “big” companies that does a lot of advertising. Needing the work done to possibly sell my house I took a chance and called these guys. Wow, I was so impressed with Jason and his initial meeting with me. He was very thorough and explained everything very well. Frankie, the young man who came out and did most of the work was also impressive. These guys are honest, professional, and do quality work. I am extremely happy with the work and highly recommend!!!
