We recently had the pleasure of hiring Crawford Home Improvements. The process was easy from beginning to end. Finding and hiring a company to perform work on our home is stressful to me. But from the first call to the completion of our project Crawford home alleviated my concerns. I appreciated the calm, kind manner the team projects...from the initial phone contact with the office, the face to face onsite, and to the crew who worked our project to completion. With all our external stresses just the simple task of "hiring help" feels daunting and they alleviated that concern. I look forward to working with them on future projects.

Feeling overwhelmed, after my husband and I started our kitchen floor replacement plan at a big box store; we returned to Clemmons, remembering there was a store there that might be able to help us. The minute we walked into Crawford Home Improvements, my stress and confusion turned to calm. Azelyn greeted us and directed us to their great variety of flooring samples, each a much larger size than those at the previous store; and welcoming us to take home any we would like to try, encouraging us to put them down for several days. That was important advice, because the one I had truly thought would be the best was absolutely not! We even returned to the store for other choices. Morning light confirmed our decision we couldn't make in the kitchen the night before! Tony Crawford came to do the estimate and explain the procedure to replace the current floor, which included some repair work and subfloor prep after the old floor was removed. Shawn came to deliver the materials and make his plan to return with Taylor and Joe to do the actual work, not sure if it would take one day or two. They came Thursday and did masterful work and completed the project that day! My husband fussed there are no longer any squeaks left to let him know I was in there! Our family members absolutely love this beautiful floor and are so impressed with Crawford Home Improvements professionals who made it happen!

Tony & his team did a mini renovation on my home in October that included flooring throughout, painting walls, kitchen cabinets, kitchen coutertops, lighting & bathroom vanities & I could not be happier with the changes! The project was completed timely, and we were able to live through it without too much inconvenience. Communication was great throughout the project & even after the project was complete. Tony Crawford, his brother Ben, and their whole crew (especially Ruben!) are fantastic. We have used them for many years and many major projects. In the past, they had Josh Paulson as one of their crew members, and Josh now works on his own. Josh, Ruben, and the rest of their employees are such high quality people, and that is just the kind of high quality that Tony and Ben attract and that you can expect if you have their company work for you. They go the extra mile. As an example, in the last job we had them do for us, we put new flooring in our kitchen. Just before the flooring was going down, Tony told the worker to not to lay the floor until he had brought our subfloor up to the precise level that would keep all our floors the EXACT same height. Most customers wouldn't mind if there was a slight up/down transition going from one room to the next, but Tony had remembered something we said in a conversation months earlier about how we wanted things on the same level, and he stopped his worker from putting in the floor until everything was perfect. I was referred to Tony long ago by another great contractor who left to do community development for the government (John Quiros) and I have always been grateful for this referral. Tony, Ben, Ruben, and the whole crew are the real deal!

I hired Crawford Home Improvement (CHI) to replace my roof shingles and repair my bathroom ceiling that had water damage as a result of the leak. They also repaired my outdoor gate which was weathered and falling apart. I was very pleased with the work they did on both of them and felt that their pricing was very fair. The workers were all on time and everything went as scheduled. They were respectful to me and of my home, and they were very professional. They finished the job in a timely manner, and I would definitely use their service again and recommend them to others.

I hired Crawford Home Improvements to fully renovate my deck, install a small front porch roof and make part of the deck screened in with ceiling fans.

Everyone was easy to communicate with on scheduling and getting a clear quoted project contract was easy. The crew did great work everyday and you can really tell they were doing superb work. Even out working in some of the hotter days of the summer the crew was very professional and orderly.

I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the work, everything looks great and should last a long time!

In my professional career of apartment revitalization of 30-years, I have dealt with many contractors.Recently, I just had the pleasure of Crawford Home Improvements crafting their unique skills in my own home.
I was impressed with their skill from floors to ceiling, plumbing to electrical, gutters and roof. I did not smell any smoke nor hear one foul word on my property. Every one of the workers dealt with my wife with the utmost dignity and respect.
There will always be issues that will need to be addressed with any construction project. The few I had were cared for promptly and professionally. We are extremely pleased with the care they took with our property and the outstanding cleanup performed once the project was completed.
Will I ever recommend Crawford Home Improvements to others? Yes indeed, and the good word is going around.

They came out for an estimate several months ago and asked for our homeowners insurance information. My wife followed- up via email, and we never heard back from them. I don’t beg people to work. If you’re too arrogant to respond to an email, you’re not working in my home.

Crawford was more than fabulous and helped me get my roof replaced quickly and professionally. I was under a very tight deadline and they were able to get it completed in time. I intend to use them again for my next project.

Well it's February 4th. I got my visit to do an estimate on December 21st. Was told give me a couple of weeks. Waited until the second week of January and sent a mail. The the following week called and spoke to receptionist and was told the owner had been moving that she would remind him. Was tempted to call again but decided maybe the work and quote process would be the same. I don't understand why they wasted their time coming to look. I don't understand why they just didn't say we can't or don't want to do it. I don't understand why you don't give any feedback. Just very disappointed

Crawford Home Improvements did a very professional and thorough job of putting in our new LVP flooring. They paid close attention to detail from beginning to end, like making sure the subfloor was sealed first, all the way to painting the baseboards and trim at the end. They also went so far as to place felt coasters under a heavy sofa table we have (at no additional charge) I can't thank them enough for that. They even checked to make sure we weren't having any moisture problems around the fridge and all was good! The floors are beautiful and they made sure to clean up after themselves and put all our furniture back where we wanted. Azelyn in the office is wonderful and Josh and his crew were respectful and punctual when installing the floor. The crew left everything clean and showed us how to keep it looking it’s best. Azelyn called to make sure we were pleased with the finished product. Thank you Crawford Home Improvements. We intend to use you again!

Scheduled an estimate, took the day off work since they could only do during the middle of the day. Was called 2 hours before they were scheduled to come out to say they no longer could do the job—without ever doing a site visit. Surely they didn’t realize that the day of. Extremely inconsiderate and clearly very poorly ran

We contracted with Crawford to repair water damaged that was a result of an improperly constructed deck done by the previous homeowner. The work was completed timely, and we didn't have to have the whole back area (a 6 foot slider and two 3 foot full length windows which had to be removed) exposed for more than a few hours. They did an excellent job and cleaned the area after they were done. Very professional.
We will definitely keep Crawford in mind for any future projects that may come up.

We recently purchased a home from out of state and the sellers hired Crawford to repair some foundation issues. As the whole process was done without us setting foot in the house or being able to get competing bids we were, rightfully, hesitant with what was about to happen to our new home. Tony's crew did a great job and we were in communication with them for most of the process. Most of the interior was wrapped in time for us to move in while they finished the outside. There were some hiccups along the way, but I've yet to be part of a home construction project (either as a client or as the contractor) that didn't have something come up. The hiccups were addressed professionally and quickly remedied. Reuben, Josh and the rest of the team were really good to work with. We have some other projects we'd like to tackle and Crawford Home Improvement will be our first call when we're ready.

From start to finish Crawford Home Improvements was represented by top notch people. Tony does a great job offering different ideas and solutions to the many questions he is presented with. Also, he is very detailed about what his company will furnish & do in his estimates. Josh, AJ, and the entire crew is very respectful, attentive to detail, and take a lot of pride in their work. We recently had our floors redone due to some water damage. From the very beginning, the professionals at Crawford Home Improvements treated us with great care, respect and courtesy. We postponed our original service date due to concerns from Covid-19 and they were very accommodating and cooperative. Once the work started, they treated our possessions with the utmost care and concern. The work too less time than planned and the floors couldn't have looked better. The hosue was even dusted and cleaned more than we expected. I must give a special thank you to Reuben. He has been connecting with us and answering all questions or addressing concerns in the most professional and cordial way. This is a great company and one I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Tony and his team repaired our kitchen floors after a water leak. They were able to give us a quote and finish the installation with a very quick turnaround. The selection of flooring was massive and it was very affordable.

Crawford Home Improvements scraped the blown texture from the ceilings throughout our home, installed crown molding throughout the house, installed a rough sawn beam in the great room and kitchen, replaced all interior doors, repaired sheetrock, painted/stained the entire interior, performed electrical repairs, replaced all floor coverings, insulated and waterproofed the crawlspace. The workmanship and attention to detail was excellent. The work was performed in a timely manner. We could not be more pleased with the entire experience. We are looking forward to having Mr Crawford perform additional work in our home in the coming months. We highly recommend Crawford Home Improvements to anyone who is considering making repairs, remodeling, or addition work to their home.

A great crew to work with. Perfect gentlemen and professionals. They really did a great job. I am glad i found them.

Had work done in 2015, paid in 2015 was happy. 3 years later I received a past due notice with accrued interest. For two of those three years I have been receiving mail from that address. A quick double check of my credit card statement confirmed I had paid. They are double billing. Either their accounting practices are sloppy or they are criminals. Both options are unacceptable. That they waited to send past due notices till I had moved and mail forwarding had ended makes me suspect the latter.

We have a great room with a vaulted ceiling that was an ugly popcorn. We decided to have a wood ceiling installed instead of scraping/painting it. It was a huge project in a very large room.

Collin and his crew did a magnificent job!!
He guided us thru selecting the types of lumber, trim, stains and it just couldn't have come out better. The attention to detail, the striking trim work around the skylight, the team made wooden beams, all spectacular.

One other thing, they did their best to keep us as comfortable as possible during this project, moved all the furniture, cleaned and were all just as professional and pleasant as possible.

Tony Crawford has put together a phenomenal team. It was obvious that each worker is skilled and takes pride in their work. We had new hardwood floors,carpeting , painting inside and out, ceilings including popcorn removal, new gutters.. They were always quick to return my call or text and to respond to any questions or concerns we had. I would use them again and I would recommend them to anyone.

Started with one project and ended up doing the whole house! The team was so great, skilled and efficient. They had great ideas and costs were very reasonable. I shopped around for a while and found that Crawford offered the best costs and the best ideas for my budget. Well worth it. I now only use them for everything we need done!
