Our house has a roof that's roughly 6 years old (not installed by Cooley BTW), and we have noticed a water spot forming in one of our bedroom ceilings. I called another local company to come check it out, and was told it had to be an issue with our HVAC system condensate drain. Called HVAC company, who told us it had to be a problem with roof.

Long story short, I called Cooley to come give another opinion. Arrived on time, and within 5 minutes on our roof had diagnosed the problem (nail pop) and in another 5 minutes had it repaired.

Another quality roofing project by Cooley Roofing of Clemmons, NC. They were very careful around delicate plants. The crew was very respectful of our property and us, the homeowners. We were hit by a hail storm in the spring and many out of town roofing companies showed up offering free estimates. I turned them all away and waited on the company I could trust to do a proper installation. All shingles were hand nailed with hammers and there was never a nail gun used. The flashing was properly installed and not just glued to the house. I highly recommend this company. Call Cooley Roofing. You’ll be glad that you did.

Cooley Roofing gets an A+. We had three quotes and Troy was the only one that explained the needed details to make an informed decision. We received the highest quality materials at the most competitive price. There was no comparison to their competitors. To get the same materials and warranty it would have cost close to 2 thousand more for our size home. During the project some minor damage was caused to our ceiling. We still paid for the job at completion and Cooley sent a contractor out within two weeks to get it repaired. If it wasn't for the holiday I believe it would have been repaired even sooner. Cooley Roofing is not just another roofing company. I am very happy with my professional roof installation from Cooley Roofing and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services. I also had new larger gutters and downspouts installed through Cooley Roofing. It just rained on an off for 4 days on my new roof and into my new larger gutters and downspouts and no more leaks inside and rainwater moved wonderfully.

I got three bids for my 40 year old roof. Cooley came in $1000 less than the other two companies. They were the only company that had a full colored portfolio describing everything they would do including past jobs. The others did not. After I told them to go ahead, I realized six of my other neighbors had the same company do their roofs. They’re honest, fast and incredibly efficient. They saved my home.

I needed a new roof, old one was leaking. Long story short, Troy from Cooley was the only person who I had in for an estimate who was honest, completely answered all my questions, and gave me a through explanation of what was wrong and what materials and procedures Cooley Roofing would use to replace my roof. He was very calm and friendly but thoroughly professional and he was the first roofer I spoke with who gave me peace of mind. And there was never any hard sell, just facts.
The foreman and installation crew were also thoroughly professional but friendly, and I could see from the way they worked and interacted with each other, that they knew what they were doing. They were on-time and cleaned up beautifully!
Oh and the office staff were wonderful to talk with and always very helpful, too! All around, a great company to work with, a rarity in this day and age!
All the materials used were GAF and everything is warrantied. In my case the estimate was the final cost and the total cost was just a bit lower than the average price of a new roof in 2022.
I thoroughly recommend Cooley to anyone who is needing a new roof. I have zero worries that this baby will ever leak, but should I ever need anything, e.g., because of storm damage, I know Cooley will come out and make things right again. Thank you Cooley Roofing!

Cooley Roofing did a great job. This is the second time that we've had a roof tuneup in a couple of years. Joseph and Donnie carefully went over the entire roof and replaced missing shingles, patched and sealed around pipes and other areas and even took video to show what was done. We also got a solar fan installed in the attic to vent out the heat. Very professional, I highly recommend this company.

This is the second job I've hired Cooley Roofing to do for me. I had an issue with the first job but Troy the owner took great care to rectify the situation and I was 100% satisfied in the end. I made sure to use Cooley again for this latest job because I know from experience that they stand by their work.

Cooley roofing came out, inspected our roof, gave us a competitive estimate, meet with our insurance representative and completed project seamlessly. They were wonderful to work with, professional, courteous, and fulfilled all promises.

Cooley Roofing did the roof on our hame about 10 years ago. We recently had some water stains on the ceiling so we called them out to take a look. They responded quickly and came out to take a look. Donnie and Joseph were very courteous and professional. They checked out the roof and the attic. Turns out the issue wasn't the roof but a problem with the ac vent. They told me the issue and showed me what was happening, and didn't even charge for the time they took to come over for the inspection. We will use these guys forever. These are the kinds of businesses I look for, thank you!

My wife & I bought a house 1.5 months ago, and we recently noticed from a rain storm that our front porch appeared to have a leak. I called both Cooley Roofing & Best Choice Roofing. Best Choice wanted to charge ~$1500 to fix, or suggested using silicone as a permanent fix. Joseph, with Cooley Roofing, spent less than 5 minutes on the roof, fixing the problems and went above & beyond tackling additional things that he noticed…AT NO CHARGE! He also explained that silicone was far from what he would suggest. Very professional, helpful, and lived up to his word. And yes, the leak is gone! Joseph’s actions & how he represented the company has earned Cooley Roofing a customer for life. Plus, the best choice roofing guy was arrogant…obviously not the “best choice.”

Troy and his team took on a gutter, siding, and soffit project and also installed a cupola on the roof above my garage. The work was professional, timely, and of great quality. When my roof was damaged by a wind storm in late fall 2020, Cooley Roofing was one the companies that provided a free estimate. Troy, the owner of the company, inspected the roof and prepared a proposal outlining recommended repairs. Repairs included removal and replacement of roof and pieces of sidings and replacement of several gutters. Cooley was the only company that did not require a pre-payment for the work.
Kent and the roofing crew and the gutter crew did a very professional job at a reasonable price. The crew left the work site clean and free of nails. I was very pleased with the way the new roof looked. Jillian, the office manager, provided timely communication concerning the scheduling of the work, contracts, and Billings during and after the project was completed. I interviewed 5 roofing companies for replacement of my damaged, aged roof. I met each company in person as they inspected my roof. Troy Cooley and his associates stood out as the most honest, thorough and professional business. His company replaced my roof 10/2020 and the whole process went extremely well from borrowing sample roofing pieces for color selection, availability with any questions, meeting the homeowners claims adjuster, to performance and oversight during replacement and cleanup. A few days after our new roof was put in we found 1 or 2 nails in the yard and within an hour of calling Cooley Roofing one of the owners was in my yard with a large magnet for another thorough search of nails. I felt that the hand-driven nailing process provided superior application of the new roof and was impressed with the attention all his workers committed to the process. The pricing was fair and I appreciated his superior certification with GAF. All the houses in my neighborhood seem to be getting new roofs and Cooley Roofing stood out as not being rushed like the other crews from other companies. I highly recommend Cooley Roofing, a true family business, to anyone I know.

I could not be more pleased with the work Cooley Roofing did for me in replacing the roof of a rental home I own.

Cooley Roofing was the only company who wanted my business. A couple of days after I called; Troy (the owner) came out and gave a quote for the job. His quote was actually a few hundred dollars less than what I thought it would be (pleasant surprise). Contrast this response with another company I had called for another quote who took a month to call me back. Obviously this company did not want my business like Cooley Roofing did.

They did the entire job in one day including tearing off old shingles, replacing a few rotted sub-roofing boards and putting on the new roof. I went over the next day to inspect their work. The new roof looked incredible. I did not find a single roofing nail or other debris anywhere around the house. Needless to say my tenants were also very pleased that the work was done in a single day.

Saw the roofers working next door and asked if they might have time to do a small roof repair for me on my recently installed roof by another company who had been unresponsive to my asking them to return and redo a small section. Andy and Joseph came over and replaced the small section in less than an hour after finishing what they were doing next door. Plus they pointed out a chimney flashing problem where historically we have had a leakage problem that shows up on our plaster living room ceiling. When they explained what was happening it was logical and easy to understand and I’ve already asked them to return and do the chimney flashing as it should have been done in the first place. Very polite, professional and competent. Good luck for us as that chimney flashing leak is more than annoying.

I first called Cooley Roofing a few years ago when our roof was leaking. Their man came out right away and repaired the roof in the rain! He did a great job and since then I’ve recommended them. Today the Cooley team came to repair another place where shingles had loosened, and replaced some roof fixtures that were poorly fitted when this original roof was put on. I highly recommend Cooley Roofing. I had several estimates to re-roof my house and some were lower, but only Cooley pointed out that existing flashing along the brick was installed incorrectly and should be installed using counter flashing (which it did based on my research). Everything was done beautifully. Both owner Troy Cooley and Supervisor John Mahl stayed close during installation to oversee details. There were one or two followup details that required attention and Troy had a man to handle it quickly. Couldn't be happier.
