We had hail damage. We've worked with Cox before and will do so again (well... if we need to, you understand). Cox documented the issue -- in fact found more hail damage than we had expected -- got us a good estimate for repair, and worked with our insurance company's inspector. We ended up with a complete, new roof for only a few thousand dollars out of pocket. The company is fast, reliable, and fair. We're very pleased with them.

Couple weeks ago, I used their services to replace my roof and here is honest review.
I was just like many of us, trying to find best company to replace my roof. Since I was paying out of pocket, I wanted to make sure I get quality services that gives me great material and great warranty. I had contacted over 7 contractors and personally meet most of them.
After multiple talks, on phone and in person, I decided to go with Cox because I believed that Matt did great work in presenting their company and were really proud of their work they did with other home owners. Once the work had started, Javier was on Site lead person, who did an amazing job on completing the work in 6-7 hours of start and were really professional from start to finish. They were very detailed, friendly and cleaned up once they were done.
I highly recommend using Cox Roofing to get your roof or any other services they provide.

Very thorough and straight forward on the business end of things very easy to deal with and affordable, Couldn't ask for a better Rep then Axel to go to bat for you with the insurance company on a property damage claim and really got the ball rolling in no time. Axel and the whole team were great throughout the entire process. They were on the spot to help work with the adjuster and insurance claim rep to make sure all the damage was properly recorded. Picking out new roof materials was easy. Delivery of all the materials and installation were much quicker than I expected. The installation crews took great care in removing the old roof and putting in the new one. Clean up after was spotless. I will definitely use Cox for any work needed in the future.

Cox did a comprehensive review of my existing roof. They worked diligently with my insurance company to get my project approved. Thereafter, ordered materials and scheduled my job.

Was a few minutes late for appointment but communicated that well. Quick and efficient free inspection. Found a small area of damage but recommended against repair due to minimal damage and expensive repair costs leading me to believe it’s an honest opinion vs a company trying to sell unnecessarily. Carlos Romero checked my roof for damage. Found a few nail pops and just fixed them. He showed me pictures of my roof and said it should be good another 10 years. He was very honest and gave me great service.

Cox Roofing is outstanding! We started our fall projects knowing that we needed to both fix siding and paint but then also realized how imperative it was for us to get a new roof before the winter.
Carlos, our sales associate, diligently worked with us and our budget as we navigated so many major projects at once. He and the team at Cox were able to provide us quotes that covered a new roof, siding repair, painting, new gutters, and fit within our budget!
We started the project at the end of November and Jesus’ roofing team started and completed our very large roof in one day! These men worked SO hard and only stopped for a short lunch break. Then, with cold temperatures and holidays ahead, Jose and his crew of painters truly worked from dawn till dusk over the course of several days to get the entire project done before we had company for the holidays. Every team who worked at our home was respectful, tidied up, and took their craft seriously.
I have nothing but positive things to say- from start to finish, great communication, excellent product, and impeccable work! Bravo! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Here’s the deal. When doing a large home re-model or repair; things happen. Lots of moving parts, and sometimes things aren’t perfect. If you are looking for perfection, I’m not sure where to send you. If you are looking for a company that owns their mistakes and hiccups; and strives to create the “perfect” end result, then Cox is who I recommend. Everyone I personally dealt with: John our salesman, Javier our site manager, and Jose our production manager, were all great to work with. I have also had the pleasure of getting to know the owners. I can tell you that this culture of owning the mistakes, and process starts from the top.

Excellent communication, knowledgeable and good customer service in terms of providing multiple options. The crew did a very good job in replacing the siding. The supervisor was actively engaging with the crew and notified me of all the updates. The crew commiitted to the timeline they had set to complete the task despite harsh winter cold weather (6 F and windy). Thanks to Issac Jacobs, Anthony Alvarez, Jesus, Javier and the entire crew.

I specifically want to recognize Matt Elias with Cox, as he provided a 5-star worthy experience! After a bumpy start in the process of getting estimates for a new roof due to storm damage, Matt stepped in and was extraordinary to work with. He truly went above and beyond!
After only a partial replacement approval by my homeowners insurance company, he and his internal team went to bat and fought hard for full replacement. Each time we hit a bump (and there were several) he suggested another approach/option. He was knowledgeable, thorough, accessible and communicative throughout every step; not to mention that he's just a very friendly guy and pleasure to work with, especially during what can be a stressful process.
If you are reading this because you're considering Cox for your repair/replacement needs - I highly recommend requesting to work with Matt too! He is an incredible representative of his company (who is lucky to have him).

(Edit) Separate, siding experience:

I called several companies after a storm almost ripped out a huge section of my home’s siding. With another storm on its heels, I knew it was going to be tough to get someone out. Cox came to the rescue… they diverted a 2-man crew to help, who did an excellent job repairing the section that had pulled away. Their pricing, customer service and communication were great, and they even followed up afterward to make sure that everything held up. I’ve dealt with Cox a few times now and my experience with them has always been a positive one.

Cox installed our new roof and gutters about 4 years ago. When they installed the shingles, they disconnected our furnace exhaust from the roof and it was sending carbon dioxide into our attic for about 6 months. After some discussion, they came to reconnect it. After a recent strong storm, I discovered a section of gutter on the back of the house that was not properly connected to the lower section of the gutters and rain was pouring over the lower gutter section. I was told we were "out of warranty", although this was simply installed improperly. They want hundreds of dollars for what should be a simple fix for them to make it right. Unfortunate for them to have lost a future customer for this, but I will not use them again because how a company treats you after the sale is too important. Shout out to their sales person Chad for being a customer advocate on our behalf.

The roof job has been done in excellent quality. The tech crew manager Jose is very knowledgeable in roofing and general contractor jobs. The job was under Jose’s professional instructions, and planning completed efficiently.

Cox’s roofing did a fantastic job from early engagement through to project completion. I appreciated their advice regarding scheduling the roof around chimney repair. The roofing team work very efficiently and the roof and gutters are great. Cox Residential did a great job replacing our roof and gutters in a timely manner. However, during the process, we encountered an issue with the siding. Originally, the siding was supposed to be reattached, but a hole, which we weren’t aware of, was also filled with caulk. Unfortunately, the caulk used was a different color.

Fortunately, Jose was brought in swiftly to address the situation and led the siding crew in cleaning up the caulk and color matching our siding paint. They painted over the area so well that I can't even see it anymore. Jose's rapid response and attention to detail turned what could have been a negative experience into a positive one.

Jade and Jose had excellent customer service and the work was quality. We had some issues with change orders being updated and accurately reflecting the work completed, which was not handled properly. The 5 stars are for Jade and Jose

Company was great to work with, got back to me super quick and had someone come do an assessment within 2 days, would have been sooner but weather was bad. Also, Larissa was super friendly and easy to work with, she was very responsive via text and helped explain what needed to be done and that they usually have a minimum price for a crew to come out for repairs/replacement of siding. We had worked with Cox for a siding proposal at our previous home that we decided to sell instead of update. The representative was helpful beyond words - knowledgeable, provided clear and easy to understand explanations and got the right answers for us when she needed to. When we bought our new home and realized it needed some gutter work, Cox was the first and only we called. Storms damaged both my barn and house roof. I called Cox Roofing and they came out within a couple of days to survey damage and take measurements for repairs. They worked directly with my insurance company and I have two brand new rooves. They did a great job and had each roof done in one day. Great people to work with. Highly recommend!!

It was a great experience working with Aaron Mitchell. I’m always wary of contractors, but this experience was exceptional. He showed up on time, pointed out some initial areas of concern after his roof inspection, and followed through on providing a cost-effective quote for repairs. Best of all, there was no pressure. The guys work very hard and did a nice job of cleaning up.
The guy that installed the gutters was very efficient and did a really nice job of connecting the downspouts to existing drains that go out into the lawn.

Good experience with the on sight crew and the sales person “Chad”. He kept us informed on all aspects of the job. They did exactly what they quoted and completed everything in a timely manner. Cleaned up all trash. Couldn’t tell they were ever here, except for the new roof!

Our sales representative, Matt, went above and beyond to make sure that we were even able to have the work done and then he made sure that the work was done accurately and to our liking. We also had a very good experience with the crew that did the work, including the foreman Javier. They were all very friendly very nice and work tirelessly into the night to make sure that our job was done. Edited with update as of January 2025: We just discovered that our north attic wall is so saturated with water that it's causing many spots on our upstairs ceilings. We asked Cox to come out since the roof is barely 3 years old, and they told me it was caused by our Heat n Glow fireplace venting into the attic, even though I told them it vents to the side (and we've used it every winter for 11 years). I got a second opinion, and the moisture is likely caused by cheap ridge vents or potentially a leak where the siding and roof meet along our chimney. A remediation team said there's existing mold in the attic, so this likely wasn't the first time it's gotten too wet. We've had a really miserable winter, so it's probably a combination of different things. I'm changing my review score because I contacted Cox to come out to give another opinion (they didn't even go on the roof when they said it was the fireplace), and they didn't call me back the day I called or the following week when I called again. When our attic walls are literally dripping water, I don't want to wait days and days for a response. While our initial roofing experience in 2021 was fine, we had issues with the siding project that followed. They damaged multiple brand new screens and did a sloppy job caulking around our windows. They made those things right, but based on that and this new roofing problem, I wouldn't use their services again.

Larissa Boles has been so great to work with since our hail damage occurred. She did a free inspection, attended the appt with my insurance adjuster, and has followed up quickly every time I've had questions or needed to make changes to the scope of work. I've used Cox Residential for gutter work in the past, and I was really happy with their service. I'm confident that the siding, gutter, and roof work Cox will be performing this year will also go smoothly, and I highly recommend Larissa.

I used Cox Residential to install a new roof, siding, and gutters. Johnathan was super helpful. Be aware…Be sure to remove all items from the walls. I did not and came Home to stuff falling off the wall and broken. I also had hundreds of Pops on every exterior wall. Cox did pay to get carpet cleaned after a wine rack came
