The boots work well but unfortunately don’t last very long ! I’ve had the boots for less than a year, working in them a couple times a week, and the buckle on the boot has already broken before I could even replace the pads. Considering the price of the boots and the customer support you don’t receive, I’ll have to not recommend getting the boots.

Very disappointing customer service. I was told that I could return a pair of boots for a refund after their 30 day period if I sent pictures proving that my boots were not used or worn. My husband was injured and will not recover to the point of being able to repair our roof. We didn't know this until after the 30 day period expired. They said that their credit card processor couldn't process credits - in all the years that I have been in business and have purchased products, I have never found a processor who could not issue a refund. I will not recommend this company. Poor customer service

*UPDATE*

They had a supervisor reach out, very thankful for that as I am a very reasonable customer. They apologized for their lack of professionalism. They basically had an employee that thought we were a reseller without going into my account. We figured it out. Thanks for reaching out.

I had an awful experience as a loyal customer who has purchased over $10,000 worth of product from their site. We are a roof cleaning company.

I received a call from someone on their team this morning "Confirming my address". They then started asking me all these personal questions as to if I am reselling their product. Maybe since I buy so much product for our teams that I get flagged as a "reseller"?

Regardless, a customer should never feel as intimidated and insulted like I was on the phone with a woman from their team. She was very confused as to why we were shipping our purchase to a warehouse.

I politely told her that our warehouse is where we conduct business!

I am still very confused, and frustrated as I have supported this business for some time now.

I hope they cam fix their lack of confidence in their customers so others can have a better experience!

To fix this experience, a phone call from a Supervisor would be most appreciated.

We are looking into purchasing roofing boots for the company and are searching to steel toe boots. I contacted customer service asking if the performers had a steel toe option. Samantha responded back stating they did not. I asked if they could look into another brand that does provide steel toes, to which she responded she doesn't know of any. I ask if she could look it up and she responded back for me to google it. This is a very average customer service. If they are not willing to spend an extra minute to look up something for a possible client then what kind of care and quality do they put into the actual product. OF course an average company isn't required to look up information for clients hence why it is an average score. Please remember its the client and not the sales person that purchases your product.

Good service.. I ordered boots, they shipped on time. They were a little bigger than I wanted, exchanged with no issues, no drama.
I'm happy. The shoes will be awesome on steep roofs.

Bought my cougar paws for roofing and I also bought the replacement pads . Not bad boots but they wear very quick just walking on roofs. Every time you order anything they want outrageous shipping fees I do not recommend these boots or this company . Get some Vans ( skater shoes ) you'll save hundreds !

7 Year Customer - NOT ANYMORE.

The Grip os GREAT! Customer Service is Great; however, the company owner is running things into the ground! Dan the owner is consistently discountinuing each line of boots. The boot pads soak up tremendous amounts of water on rainy days, leaving puddles behind your path. The sole of the boits are glued NOT STICHED. Cougar paws owner Dan admitted that he uses products from Mexico :/

If you work on roofs as a professional, You need Lace to toe heritage roof boots from Midwest Boots which are MADE IN THE U.S.A.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
