Cortez roofing was the absolute best company I have ever worked with. They were extremely organized, followed through with each and every detail of the roofing job. They had a rep on site at all times communicating with the roofers and me. The workers were so polite. They worked an entire day from start to finish and cleaned up every piece of debris throughout our yard. I can’t say enough wonderful things about out this company and their staff. Fernando and Edwin were absolutely awesome to deal with. I needed two unique things completed quickly to put my house on the market. The first was just to replace some second story shutters - which required some troubleshooting due to the awnings. The second was to repair some vinyl house corners without replacing the whole corner. The siding is discontinued so they fashioned very nice corner guards. The next owner with poor weed whacker skills will be protected. These guys were friendly, helpful, and polite and if there was a higher rating I would give it! Thanks guys!

Cortez Roofing did an excellent job repairing my roof. The Owner was polite and friendly. As was his employees. They finished the job replacing my shingles in a short amount of time. They were professional and courteous. They took the time to explain to me what needed to be done. They trimmed some trees that were rubbing my roof. They cleaned up all debris properly. They went above and beyond what I expected of them. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a roofing company that does superb work, affordable work, and professionalism.

We had major roof issues after replacing roof shingles by a different roofer. We had major water leakage! We called Mr. Cortez to come to identify the problem. He came, identified the problem, checked with our Insurance agent. He and his workers came and worked early morning to late afternoon, evening as I remember. It was a job that he had to identify the problem which included not just shingles, but ice accumulation in the attic. We highly recommend Mr. Cortez
and his help for any roofing job needed. He evaluated what the issue was first & was willing to come no matter the time of day or weather conditions.

Edwin with Cortez Roofing really went the extra mile for me, even coming out on Christmas Day (2024) to evaluate my roof and gutters for a pending home sale. He was brutally honest about the condition of the roof and gutters, confirming the claims of the buyer's roofer. Edwin did not expect me to simply take his word for the damage on my roof and gutters. He documented everything for me with photographic evidence and impressed me with his explanations as to the cause of and remedy for the damage. The man really knew his stuff. It was painful, but I couldn't argue with the photos; so I asked Edwin to write up a bid on the job. The Cortez Roofing bid proved to be not only competitive with, but comfortably under the bid presented by the Buyer's roofer. I cannot comment yet on workmanship, as we have not gotten that far in the process. But you can bet that I will turn to Cortez Roofing for all of my future roofing needs. 5 Stars for price and integrity! Thank you Cortez Roofing.

Cortez roofing did amazing job installing the roof and the side and soffit and fascia and the cutters and the drain pipe with miner time… and so professional they work hard with great results, Mr. Edwin listens very carefully and answers any question with great care and his crew is also very attentive to any notice or concern during the job process, Am so happy with the job results and thank you all guys for fantastic job did to my house and forget to mention too they did my fence and install block Retaining Wall and ground Drain pipe and the outdoor lights and work for snow removal, i highly recommend them for friends and family.

Reliable & responsible! Can’t say enough good things about Cortez Roofing (gutter, siding, windows). I was calling every roofing company to fix my leaking roof before it rained. Edwin called me back right away, made time to come look at my roof and then scheduled his team to fix before it rained. Respectful team, went above & beyond, and cleaned up after their work. Vinyl siding, metal wrap, soffit, and gutters all installed with good workmanship and in a timely manner. The work started as scheduled. Edwin and his crew were very friendly and respectful. Edwin Cortez, his father, and brother along with his crew are absolutely the best roofers in this area. They are committed to doing a great job- their performance is consistent with their values. They are fairly priced. His crew work hard, steady, arrive on time and stay late. They install good quality shingles and use 6 nails per shingle so they can withstand wind, etc. Edwin is personable, easy to reach, takes time to explain things or issues he identifies, takes feedback and checks in during the process to make sure customer is satisfied or needs something else. He is sincere and often works along side his crew members. He has been willing to travel outside of Lincoln which for me meant 100 miles one-way. Despite intense winds all 3 days while the crew removed old shingles and then re-shingled, they thoroughly cleaned up all the debris on the acreage-a monumental task.
