Cornerstone Contractors

Had to have my roof replace, Ron gave me a much better price then all of the other companies I received a quote from. They did a fantastic job, and finished sooner then I expected. I would 100% use them again for anything I needed to have fixed!

First off Bill was very professional and friendly. Came out, explained what was going to be done. The work performed was as promised. Roof was done in half a day. When they left, the yard looked like no work was done to the house.

Don’t waste your time....

This post is the accumulation of about a year and a half of dealing with these guys.
It started off with them not being able to come out to measure or inspect anything while I was home. They touted their abilities, expertise and how they could easily remedy my leaking roof. The communication at this time was very spotty and challenging at best. They never really listen when you speak with them. This all led to them fixing the completely WRONG roof!! They tore off and “fixed” the roof that wasn’t even leaking.
When I called and informed them of their massive mistake, they did come out to fix the leaking roof, but their initial mistake ends up leading to another leak in the roof that should have never been touched.

I call, and call, and call, and text, and text, with no response, and what little response I get is full of lies and deception.

They eventually come out to inspect my roof, caulk around everything, and claim they fixed the leak. A week later, still leaking. I call and text multiple times again and finally they send out a second group.
The second group finds that there’s gap between the vent and roof. Enough of a gap to fit two fingers through. They did “fix” this gap, but the roof still leaked.
At this point, the owner, Ron, assured me that there must be another leak somewhere else, that their roof and/or vent wouldn’t be leaking. However, he would personally come out and make sure to find the problem. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. He said multiple times he would come out, but never followed through.
At this point, I am months from the start of the leak and guess what, I had to bring in another company to get this fixed.
Another company who PROMPTLY came out and fixed the issue.

Once the second company came out, they tore out my ceiling and could easily see that the vent and roof that Cornerstone installed, was exactly where the leak was coming from. But, according to Ron, there’s no way it’s his roof or work that is leaking. He’s referencing the roof that he couldn’t be bothered to come look at himself. The roof they were never supposed to touch in the first place.

Once again, Don’t waste your time! Find a professional company that actually cares about its customers.

I want to say they are not bad. However, they are not as good as you think. I have a property in Providence RI I have a roof leak problem over month now. I have a roof that is reworked for a few month when i have the leak problem I call them up and don't get this wrong they response instantly get me a quote and send people to my property as quoted but when I call them up the following month I got a same leak around the area they repair for me I never get a second response from them.

The most professional company that I have ever worked with. Trustworthy, detailed, skilled. I would and will recommend Cornerstone Construction and Bill Gorry without hesitation. They replaced my daughter's badly deteriorating roof in half a day with full clean up and the cost was very reasonable.
