Did not have a bad experience with the company them self, but DO NOT recommend working with Stew in any way. Very arrogant and unprofessional. Lacks basic communication skills and he has zero respect for your time. Will show up either 5-10 mins early, 30-45 mins late with no communication, or just won't show up at all when promised with again, no communication. Had problems from the very beginning and honestly wish I never went with this company because the whole process was a headache. Will never use them again for any future repairs and will never recommend them to anyone in the North County area.

Such an easy process from start to finish! Very professional and friendly crew. We had an aging roof with wood damage that was discovered while adding onto our home. They replaced our existing roof and did the new roof addition as well. Came out right away for our estimate and started work the day the shingles came in! The roof is beautiful and prices were the best around.

Copal saved my home!!! My insurance Co. was playing word games, the city was withholding work permits, and the weather was threatening more storm activity. Kyle singlehandedly managed EVERYTHING from the minute her showed up. My biggest worry after that was picking the color of my new roof. They were fast, professional, clean, and awesome!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My son needed a opinion on if his house needed roof repairs. The house is forsale and the current buyer was Insisting that the house roof was in need of replacing. Myself and several other family members have had roof shingles replaced by now Copal Construction in the past. The first and only company that came to my mind was Copal Construction to look at the roof and give us their opinionon on what needed to be done. Copal was quick to assess the roof and send back their results that the roof was sound and in no need of repairs at this time. This resulted in a contract for the house to be sold. Thank you Copal Construction.

I had a good experience with Copal Construction when they did my roof in 2012. In August, we had severe storms and I could see some roof damage from the street. I called Copal for an assessment and quote. Kyle came out and called me afterwards. Said I had severe hail damage and needed a replacement. I asked him about missing shingles or wind damage; he said I had none. He did not know that my wife was home and knew he only walked on the garage and not the main roof. I asked for pictures and a formal quote; he provided pictures of only the garage and as of a week later I haven’t gotten a quote.

Low and behold I had wind damage to the main area that he missed because he never got up there. This is a missed sale to Copal based off of their inexperienced evaluator/salesperson.

They came out the same day to give a quote and then started the project the next morning, out of about 20 companies we spoke with, they were the only ones that made things simple. Prices are extremely fair and lisa and stew have been an absolute pleasure to deal with, accomodating and extremely professional. Were so glad we used them for our roof repairs and will be saving their business card for futute needs

I initially contacted Copal for an estimate. Stew Deaton (a representative) came out, did an estimate & asked that I file a claim though my insurance company. I did so & have been getting the run arounds every since. He (Stew Deaton) has scheduled two appointments to come review the insurance document & has called to cancel the morning of with 30 minutes of the scheduled appointment. Once because his son had a football game (something he knew prior to setting up the appt which is why he scheduled at 8 am). Very unprofessional!

We have been dealing with our insurance company since February and Dan has gone over and above to prove to them that we need a new roof. Finally, 4 months of aggravation with insurance company.......they finally agreed that he was right and we're getting our new roof. Thanks Dan!!!

Copal Construction went above and beyond to take care of us from start to finish. We are very thankful for the service they provided and will definitely be a repeat customer.

The woman in the office is a complete and total waste of space. They are the only company I have ever dealt with who has refused to provide a material lien waiver from their supplier upon completion of the work, and I have been in the construction business literally my entire life. (My grandpa started an roofing company in 1949 in southern Missouri, and my dad carried on the tradition by starting his own business - until he had a heart attack. Since I worked for other contractors and suppliers.) before I gave my salesman, Dan, my check for the roof I told him I wanted the material lien waiver from the supplier at the time I gave him the check. I owe a very small amount for wood that was replaced on my house and am STILL waiting on the material lien waiver before paying in full. NOTE: This is industry standard - never pay in full until you know the supplier has been paid or you could be charged twice!

I had an aging roof and hail damage, so I gave Copal a call to do an estimate. They fit me in quickly, worked with my insurance company, and scheduled everything right away. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional, and did a fantastic job on the roof. From start to finish, the inspections from Copal and the insurance took less than a couple weeks, and the installation and clean up was completed within a few hours.

We are beyond pleased with the excellent service we received from Copal Construction, Rich, Christian and team. Our home is beautiful. They have replaced our roof, siding, soffits and sliding patio door. The workmanship is beautiful and they are an extremely professional team. Everything was kept clean and tidy the whole time. We HIGHLY recommend this excellent company.

We got quotes from several different companies before finally deciding on Copal Construction due to their customer service and products available. We dealt with Rich through the entire process and he is awesome. They took care of dealing with our insurance company and making sure all the codes Florissant required was included. They came and did our roof in a day and were very efficient in cleaning up. There was one issue after they fixed the roof but it was not due to them not fixing it correctly, we just needed a different fixture. Rich came right out as soon as we called and put a different one in. We have a few other construction needs in the future and will continue to use and recommend this company. Excellent price, customer service and products. Our roof is awesome and Copal made dealing with our leaky roof a breeze.
