The professionalism, response time, and fair price is second to none. I called because I had a leak. They responded that day and provided me with a fair price quote. Less than a week later they were at my house completing the job. Once complete they spent almost two hours walking my property and cleaning up all of debris.

I cannot recommend them enough. My roof looks fantastic, no mess was left, and they were fair and professional.

The guys came out and took a look at what we suspected might be a leak. They were confident that we don’t have a leak, but offered other reasons why we are seeing some mold growth. We really appreciated their honest assessment and the suggestions provided, which included options that they wouldn’t get paid for.

This company was recommended to me by a friend who had recently used them. I reached out for an estimate on a leak around my chimney. Dale quickly responded to my request, came that day for the estimate, and gave me suggestions after thoroughly investigating inside and outside. He was polite, respectful, and professional. After speaking with other companies, I decided to go with Cootes Roofing. Dale came out the day after I called him and personally repaired the area. They also do gutters, siding, and I got an estimate on replacing my patio roof. Honest, dependable, trustworthy, Christian small business! Honesty, transparency, integrity.. these are few of many words to describe my experience with Dale & CF Roofing.
After traveling an 1-1/2 hours to our place, time was taken to thoroughly assess the situation and understand our challenges. At the end of the day, there was an agreement the there was no need for repairs in this area.
Offered other solutions based on experience that would be more advantageous and cost effective to try.
In today’s time, these types of companies are few and far between.
They will always be my First choice when it comes to roofing.

I had a leak in my roof and we assumed the problem was around our dormer. I wanted three quotes and went to Facebook to see which roofing company’s others have worked with and found Cootes Farm Roofing.

The quotes were not comparable in price so I had follow up questions and reached back out. When I texted Dale he quickly called me back and let me know he could stop by as he had another job nearby. When he came over, he climbed back on my roof and we went over the details, he addressed all of my questions, and made sure I understood the work that was included in the price quoted.

Cootes was not the lowest bid, however, they won my business because Dale went above and beyond and provided exceptional customer service. I also love the fact that they are a family owned business.

Today Dale and Ricky came out to complete the work around my dormer. They quickly identified the issues and resolved them. As my roof is about 10-12 years old, Dale let me know in advance that the new shingles would not look identical to the existing ones. Which totally made sense as the old shingles have had direct sun on them for years. I was expecting to see a huge difference but they did such a beautiful job that I can’t see a huge difference. Awesome job Ricky and Dale!

Noticed a stained ceiling, and wall in our utility room, after all the rain in middle TN, that was brought about from the remnants of the hurricane. Dale, from Cootes Farms Roofing, came out, and immediately found a nail had popped through on one of the shingles. Our roof was about 15 or more years old at this point, and since it has a direct southern exposure, the sun had taken its toll on it. He patched the leak, and there was no pressure to upsell a roof replacement. I suggested he provide a quote to replace the roof. The quote was very competitive to another quote I received from another roofer.

From the initial call, to a complete new roof, these guys are the real deal. They do what they say they will do. The material arrived when they said it would, the install crew arrived when they said they would. The complete tear off, and re-roof was done in one day. All debris was cleaned up by the crew, and Dale came back the next day, to check things again.

If you need a simple leak repair, or a complete re-roof, give Cootes Farms Roofing a call. I highly recommend them.

The fascia along the highest part of our roof blew halfway off on a windy day. It was hanging by a single nail, flapping around against the side of the house. If it had kept on it would have kept us up all night with worry and may well have eventually blown off and smashed into a window of our house, a passing car, or who knows what else. We called Cootes, and Dale was out to our house within a couple hours. He quickly got up on our roof and got the fascia secured back into place. Dale was friendly, respectful of our property, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

After noticing water damage on a portion of our ceiling, I called Cootes Farms Roofing to have them take a look at our roof for a possible leak. Steven is knowledgeable and professional, and told me that his crew would quickly contact me and would come to our house as soon as possible to look at our roof, and he was true to his word. Dale contacted me within the next few minutes to schedule an appointment time. Dale was on time, knowledgeable, professional, and did great quality work. I selected Cootes Farms Roofing to repair a significant leak in my roof. The entire process was fantastic! From the initial investigation of the problem, to the proposed solution and then the final work to repair the issue. Dale was great with communication throughout the process. Despite very cold weather and the threat of potential rain, the crew from Cootes was onsite to begin the work as promised. They were through and professional from the beginning of the work to the clean up of the debris. I highly recommend Cootes Farms Roofing for any project.

We paid a different vendor to replace our gutters and help with water runoff that was draining into our pool area. They undersized them and skimped on downspouts, then refused to fix them even after seeing videos of water pouring off the sides of the room.
Cue CF Roofing. Dale came out to do a roof inspection and look at the gutters. He was on time, thorough, provided photos and made some recommendations. If he had told me that day that we had to replace our roof, I would have believed it and we would be down that road. Instead he was very honest and told me to do the gutters first and wait another year on the roof while we paid off some other projects. Honesty is hard to come by. His team replaced our gutters and did a great job, showed up on time, and cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely be calling them back for our roof install!

I worked with Dale at Cootes Farms for a standing seam metal roof for a new workshop we built in Nashville. He was always on time, extremely responsive and it was a great experience. The final product is top tier and was done quicker than expected at a competitive price. I originally wanted a non-standard color, which Dale thought he could do, but after encountering manufacturing limitations I ended up going with a more popular charcoal color. Dale was upfront and honest about why those limitations exist and what was outside his control, which is all that anyone can ask for. The product looks great, and I think looks better than what I originally wanted. Will definitely use them again if I ever have any roofing needs.

I had a barn roof that several people had pretended to repair. These guys actually came when they promised and got the roof fixed I would and am using them again

I had some wind damage during recent storms - tore off a segment of fascia of course from the highest gable. I was referred to C|F by the company who installed my roof several years ago. In less than 24 hrs the problem was fixed! I found the folks at C|F to be responsive and professional. I was given options on how the (minor) repair could be handled - from replacing the minimally damaged segment, to replacing it with a new segment, to upgrading the fascia on all the gables. I never got an "upsale" push and they recommended the first option. Very pleased with the result and with the process. HIGHLY recommend.

C/F roofing is a class organization. Dale was responsive, was at my home one 48 hours, had great communication and did a great job. In business today it is hard to find a company who won’t take advantage of a customer. Either they over charge or tell you that you need more work done than is necessary. Not with Dale and C/F Roofing. They are fair and I can say…that I trust them to be fair. They did a great job and they charged a very fair price…compared to other quotes I received. Thanks Dale!

We have had a persistent leak in one spot on the roof of our new home (3 yrs old) that 2 other roofers did not fix properly. It was very frustrating to repair the drywall and paint after the leak kept recurring after heavy rain, but Dale correctly diagnosed the problem, patiently explained our options and got to work on the repair. I have waited through several storms to write a review to make sure the leak didn’t reappear, and the repair has held up perfectly!! Our paint and drywall still looks great, and we will always use Cootes Farms Roofing in future. Dale was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure working with him!

Dale did a great job finding a leak in our roof. Made it work with the existing roof shingles to keep the look the same. Kept the repair cost down and didn’t make it a bigger deal than it needed to be.

I needed some flashing replaced around the chimney, a new chimney cap, and some decking board and shingles replaced. Dale was very professional and responsive to my calls and texts. Very helpful in figuring out a problem we had with runoff getting to our gutters. They solved our issues and were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend.

The inspector was super polite, and timely. My problem is that Cootes Farms Roofing, LLC would not provide an estimate for repair or replacement of a roof. I am taking my HOA to court for refusing to fix the roof over my unit; it has leaked an entire YEAR. So, I was wanting to tell the judge how much a roof repair (or replacement) might cost. I wanted this information from a professional.

I paid $250 to Cootes Farms Roofing, LLC, for an inspection. They provided great pictures but will not provide an estimate of costs. Who does this? It just seems like something a roofing company would naturally be willing to provide upon an inspection. I do not understand why they refuse. They did mention something about possibly needing a specific license to do something, but they gave no referral, to assist me, in finding the right company who can help.

What really bothers me is that Cootes Farms Roofing, LLC said they would tell my HOA what the costs might be. So why not tell me? Why is an estimate for the costs of repairing a roof classified? If you have to do business with Cootes Farms Roofing, LLC (or anyone probably) consider getting in writing, upfront, what services they will provide, and maybe even what services they refuse to provide.

I will not consider using this company again. This was just a very bad experience. I got the sense that it was only about the money, and they did not care to assist me with what I needed. (I had the complete opposite experience with the company who did mold inspections. I'll be leaving that company a 5-star review but won't mention their name here.)

I called Cootes Farm roofing this morning about a shingle hanging off the roof. They returned my phone call and came out today and fixed the problem. The gentleman was very nice and explained everything. The roof looks good as new like nothing happen. I will be using them again for any other needs. ABSOLUTE SLOBS. I had my roof replaced, as did my other neighbor, and never had either of those roofers just let the trash fly. My garden was covered in tar paper confetti, which I am still finding pieces of, as well as pieces of shingle bags (and full shingle bags and cardboard). No apologies when I pointed this out, just "yeah" and "we will get to it", as if they would take any care to not trample my crops as the petroleum product seeps into my herbs and garlic. I cleaned it up, and continue to clean it up.

Dale is great to work with! Came by and was able to do the repair while he was there for the estimate. Definitely recommend and will use them in the future if needed.

We knew we were going to need a new roof but just procrastinating. Then We noticed a leak in the garage. A Cootes Farms roofer came out and fixed that spot but recommended a new roof! Wow! We discovered we had a leak coming from the chimney. Another company could not find the problem. Cootes came out quickly and found the source of the leak. The repair was done quickly and they fixed another area of the roof at the same time. If we need any more repairs in the future, we would hire Cootes again. Steven has done a couple of things for me involving my roof. We had some minor wind damage affecting just a few shingles. He came out personally and made the repairs. Later we had a major storm and he and his crew replaced our entire roof. They were very professional and did an exceptional job. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Very professional and explained in detail what they found and what would be needed for the repair. Had a quote by the next day. Scheduled the repair within a week. Arrived on time and ready to go.
