I am not one that normally writes reviews about contractors, but I wanted to take the time to share an experience I had with Cooksey Exteriors LLC. This is a contractor that takes the time to make sure the job is done right! The owner, Eric Cooksey, worked on my home like it was his own. He called me back quickly when I left a message about the issue I was having. He came to the house when he said he would and immediately assured me that he would fix my problem that day! Most contractors look at the job and schedule a time when they can do the work!
I would highly recommend Cooksey Exteriors LLC for all your roofing needs. It was refreshing to see a contractor respond to my problem and actually care about the work they perform! Great work for a fair price!
- Here is my experience with Cooksey Exteriors LLC:
I was experiencing a leak through a recessed light in our family room. We only got water when we had a hard wind driven rain. I had a new roof put on six years ago, so I called the roofer that installed the roof (Knox Construction) and told him about the problem I was having. He said that he was very busy and if it was a roof issue, I would need to contact the manufacturer of the shingles. He sent out two workers that were on my roof for 15 minutes. They performed no work and said it must be a siding issue. Everything looked good with the roof they said… He charged me $200 for that consultation and said that they were too busy to do the work!
I called three other roofers and not one of them was willing to help me with this issue. That is when I contacted Cooksey Exteriors LLC. Eric Cooksey came to the house when he said he would. He immediately got out of the truck and asked me to show him what issues I was having with the leak. After explaining everything to Eric, he said he would take care of the problem and headed to the roof. As Eric removed some siding, he discovered a missing piece of flashing on the gable. He replaced the flashing and also applied a roofing tape application to reinforce the flashing.
As Eric was taking his tools off the roof, he noticed the siding on a different section of the house was pulled loose, so he climbed up and repaired that as well…
