The process from start to finish was simple but professional. The deck looks outstanding. Every part from building, clean up and paint went smoothly. I would recommend Colorado Custom Covers and Decks to everyone. Thanks again and we look forward to enjoying it this summer.

Strongly suggest avoiding this company. I recently had them out to quote a second floor 12'x12' deck and they sent me a quote for $47k. In comparison with the other 3 quotes I got:

SRI: $23k
Colorado Deckscapes: $28k
Archadeck: $25k

This company is either preying on people in hopes they aren't shopping around or they just didn't want to do this project for me in the first place. In the case they didn't want the job why waste both of our time coming out and sending a laughable quote of $47k for a basic square deck?

I also emailed them asking if the quote was real or if there was an error and they never responded.

Jonathan, his entire staff and his entire crew were great to work with. The subcontractors were timely and communicating well with us. We were very impressed on how clean they kept the entire construction area everyday. They were here early everyday and did everything to make sure our vision came to life. Our patio cover is beautiful and I would highly recommend their services.

Working with Colorado Custom Covers and Decks was beyond my expectations to say the least. They are a full service deck building company from beginning to end. When I contacted them they were quick and responsive to my needs and my vision. I had many obstacles with the county and Jonathan and Randy helped me navigate through to make my vision come true.

They are the hardest working team, working from early morning to late. The craftsmanship is beautiful. Every detail is perfection. I hate to sound dramatic but this deck has changed the whole feel of my home, simply amazing!

Fantastic experience the whole way through! Working with Colorado Custom Covers and Decks could not have gone any better. We purchased our home with intentions of making it what we want at a pace that we can afford. Adding a custom cover to our existing patio space was something that we've always wanted to do. After meeting with several other companies, I knew that Jonathan and his company were the right fit. From the initial meeting, he listened to my desired outcome and had fantastic advice while still respecting my design input. His process is very thoughtful and was executed with accuracy and professionalism. Colorado Custom Covers and Decks offered in-house design drawings with 3D renderings of the final product, this was a wonderful resource in deciding on the final outcome. After the design was decided his team executed the permitting with the county and furnished me with all the necessary drawings for my HOA submission and approval. The construction process was efficient and preformed on schedule. Not a common theme in the construction world. The crew was punctual and very respectful of my property for the duration of the project. Furthermore, I can not recommend enough, the added value of the improved outdoor space. We are spending countless hours enjoying the space virtually year round. There's nothing like sitting by the fire pit during a rain or snow storm and enjoying the beauty while being protected. Or knowing that you can host friends and family for a BBQ and not having to think about a backup plan for such storm! Amazing!! We had a 30 year old deck that just wasn't safe or functional anymore. Jonathan, Don and team built us a beautiful new multi tiered deck with a fantastic new covered 'living room'. It was great working with Jonathan, Don, Joey and everyone at Colorado Custom Covers & Decks. They turned our disaster of a 50-year-old deck into a gorgeous covered patio and deck that will be maintenance-free for many years. Jonathan and his crew pay a lot of attention to detail and are hard workers. They did a great job of managing this project (including a large cement pour) in the middle of all the rain we had. We had to replace a two story deck on the side of a steep hill in Evergreen. The whole deck had to be removed and rebuilt, including the footings. Colorado Custom gave us the best quote and did an excellent job replacing the deck using the highest quality materials. Jonathan’s team was fast and courteous, completing the entire removal and replacement in three weeks, through snow, rain and winds. Living up in the mountains it can be hard to find workers that show up when they say they will if at all, but from the very first interaction with Jonathan it was obvious that wouldn’t be the case with CO custom covers and decks. We’ve had a number of contractors over many years, and some very good. This company has proven to be the best. They were very professional, they were always on time, their work was meticulous. Each individual was very helpful in a number of ways and listened to our concerns. They cared about the fact that somebody lives in this house, and it is very inconvenient to have something like this done.
Our deck is very large- 1400 sq ft. They worked quickly and accurately and did little to interfere with our daily life. One crew, one job. The demolition alone was amazing to watch. They kept mentioning how they enjoyed the challenge of handling our project. Apparently it is one of the more difficult ones they’ve done.
The materials supplier and the stucco repair crew were top notch. Always good to see subcontractors on the same level as your contractor.
The end result was beyond our imagination. It really put the overall look of our house into a different category. Whatever the level of your project, Colorado Custom Covers and Decks can handle it.

Colorado Custom Covers & Decks has now done 3 decks for us. We ended up with truly custom decks and hand rails, not a pre-made ‘kit’ job like like competitors wanted to do. Jonathons crew worked hard and worked through any problems that were encountered. We love our decks.

We had a major deck project done by Colorado Custom Covers and Decks that involved replacing 2 large decks/railings , and one smaller one and two staircases with lightning. From the beginning Jonathan stood out from other contractors who bid the job. I wanted a very specific design and Jonathan was the only one who didn’t try and talk me out of what I wanted and the materials he works with (Deckorators) are top notch. While the first phase of our project did not go perfectly, Jonathan stands behind his work to make sure you are happy. he is looking for long term relationships rather than fly by night. Jonathan’s lead craftsman Pete is a great guy who cares about what he is doing and runs a hard working and honest crew who will show up early every day and work hard until the day is done. You won’t ever have to worry about this crew showing up We are in love with our decks and will continue to work with Jonathan as needed because he is a great guy and will transform your home!

Johnathan and his crew did a fine job building our new deck. From the start Johnathan listened to our ideas and requests offering sound advise and no pressure. Once the project started Johnathan’s crew were always prompt everyday starting early and working the entire day. Johnathan kept us updated as the project progressed and paid attention to every detail. His crew took pride in their work and insured the details of each step were done correctly. Each day they cleaned up and organized tools and materials for the following day. Final inspection went without a hitch and we are very happy with the results. We LOVE our new deck, which is made of composite materials but looks like wood. We got three bids before we chose a deck company. We decided to go with the company that took us seriously and provided a complete and detailed written estimate. The estimate was higher than the others, but we were able to omit some of "nice to have, but not needed" elements to bring the cost down. Jonathan's detailed estimate allowed us to make that evaluation and those decisions in consultation with him. Jonathan was flexible while also giving us his honest opinion about options. We were at home to watch the deck being built. We were impressed by the crew's skills and the planning and communication required to ensure that the many required tools and materials were on-site each day. Jonathan communicates well with his crew and that leads to efficiency and a good build. The crew arrived promptly. These guys had the necessary skills and the pride of workmanship to complete a complicated build with flying colors. We also appreciated that the dumpster (for disposal of old deck materials and new deck scraps) was onsite for less than 24 hrs. The job was not considered complete by Jonathan until two very small details were taken care of at our request. Our deck is beautiful, well-built, and it should last for 30+ years. Our neighbors have commented how much they like it too. It took several months until our job rose to the top of the waiting list, but this is an indication of the demand for a Colorado Custom Covers and Decks build. Well done Jonathan and crew!

If you're like we were, trying to find a reputable deck contractor that does quality work at a reasonable price, it's tough to sort through all the alternatives out there. When we had Jonathan come by to talk about our project, he was super helpful explaining our options and offered valuable advice to help balance our wants/needs with our budget. During the project, the entire team was friendly and easy to talk to when we had questions. From start to finish, they were meticulous about the quality of their work down to the smallest detail, and also very conscientious about cleaning up and minimizing damage to the yard. We are very happy with both the people and the final result and would hire them again. If you're still looking, give these guys a shot - I think you'll be a happy customer like we are.

Anyone who questions the work ethic or pride of craftsmanship in our young people of today-need to hire this company if you are needing a deck or covering. Communication was excellent, punctuality -spot on and changes...addressed immediately. Employees were awesome-pride in the company, their workmanship, their candor of ongoing issues, and ultimately adding to my home. It was not unusual for Jonathan to do some grunt work, allowing his master carpenters to train an apprentice while under his eagle eye. Jonathan invests in his crew, his business and his clients. The owner Jonathan was excellent to work with and the crews that did the work were very professional and polite. They made sure that they got to know the family (and dog) so that communication and progress conversations were easy.

Weather delayed us a bit, but the work they did in sub-freezing temperatures was great. We love our upgraded deck!

Colorado Custom Covers and Decks are very professional and very good at what they do. They installed Knotty Pine tongue and groove on the ceilings of our existing front porch and rear patio areas. It totally transformed the looks of both to a very updated and professional look. Jonathon Moeller did an excellent job of responding to our requests and showed up early on the original estimate and when our install date came time to do and complete. Both covers were installed in about 8 hours. I highly recommend this company for decks and patio covers!

We contacted Colorado Custom Covers and Decks to repair an existing deck with structural damage from water which rotted the rim boards. It was necessary to remove the deck posts, balusters, rails, and fascia. This was done in a timely and professional manner by Jonathan Moeller and his crew. Everyone was polite and skilled. The deck was put back together, replacing the rim boards and fascia. All other original material were reused. The result was outstanding.
