This review serves as a caution. It is advisable to avoid conducting business with Cody Constuction or Micheal "Cody " Varner. They have proven to be unreliable, failing to keep their promises, and their work is of poor quality. Despite assurances of follow-up, they have not fulfilled their commitments. We are contemplating legal action and filing formal complaints with the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (LLR).

I left a message for Mr. Varner and he called me back within a few minutes. He came out the same day to investigate the leak in my bathroom ceiling. There was extensive water damage to half of the ceiling. Mr. Varner and his crew identified shotty work on my roof. New shingles were placed over rotten wood which caused the leak. The crew came out the next day and repaired the roof and began work in the bathroom. I also had a leak in my bathtub and a few other items that needed attention in my bathroom. The crew came out and in two days sanded all of the ceiling, removed the tile wall, repaired the leak, replaced the tile with drywall, and painted my bathroom!!!! I can only sing their praises!!! You can see a small sample of the before and after photos. I highly recommend Cody's Construction Company.

Cody did an amazing job replacing the roof, shutters, soffit, etc on our rental property. He completed some landscaping tasks, added handrails and power washed the property. We live in Va and everything he said he would do… he did it with us making only one trip to SC. Cody is very professional and trustworthy!

Codys construction is the best roofing company that i have ever worked with. He was very responsive and professional from the very beginning. Amazingly he replaced the entire roof in less than 48hrs. No delay, great job. Just absolutely fantastic!!!!!! His prices is competitive and very fair. I would highly recommend him.

My sister found his business on the web. He was a nice, polite and would call you back, BUT ONLY DURING HIS WORKS, SO RESPECT THAT! Be PREPARED TO HAVE HIS MONEY BEFORE THE JOB IS COMPLETED AND NOW THAT IM LIVING IN HIS WORK, IM FINDING THINGS, THAT I SHOULD'VE DOUBLE CHECK. SO MY SUGGESTION WHEN USING HIS SERVICE HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED DONE ON A ITEMIZED LIST AND DOUBLE CHECK HIS COMPANY WORK. DON'T LET THAT YES MAAM FOOL YOU!!

They painted,replaced post and rescreened my front porch. They did a great great job fixing someone else's work. I will be using them again. Give these guys a try and the owner Michael is wonderful.
