Joel has delivered us two Coastal Sheds. The first one in July and the second one in early December of this year. (2024)
Joel was on time, friendly, professional and clearly knew what he was doing. He took the time to meticulously level the sheds, and made sure doors and windows operated as they should once they were leveled. Another plus was he did not tear up our yard doing it!! (We heard nightmares about that from other companies).
We will be ordering another shed next year and will request that Joel is the one that delivers it to us.

When my husband and I went to look at some sheds we were met by Tommy. Tommy was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the buildings, from the customizing of a shed to the delivery. Coastal Portable Buildings just completed construction, delivery and setup of our new garden shed. The quality of the materials and workmanship is exceptional! Every aspect of the process from ordering to delivery and setup was efficient and customer focused. Each person I worked with was courteous and professional and answered all of my questions. Once the order was signed, we had our shed within a few weeks. The shed was delivered in pieces and setup on my property, because it would not fit through the side yards fully put together. The crew setting up the shed completed the work within the time promised. They were very careful and meticulous in the details down to touch up painting. I have never had a more pleasant buying experience than I did here. From Stephanie's no nonsense sales approach, to Brandy's paperwork and contact for delivery, to Joel's delivery and setting process, everything was perfect. Stephanie not only walked me around and let me look at everything (they build on site) but she also didn't push unnecessary upgrades and was transparent about the entire process. My shed was completed early and I had great contact and followup with everyone. Joel was so kind about my curiosity with the setting process and never made me feel inconvenient for watching. He even shared information on the process and let me take pictures to send family, some with him in the frame. His work leveling the building was amazing! I work in renovations and am a somewhat picky customer, and they checked ALL the boxes. I'm not exaggerating when I say I would give 10 stars if I could.

Coastal Portable buildings is great! Their staff was extremely helpful and communicated with me very well on getting my building. My favorite part about the services they provide is the ability to customize every single detail of the building. Outstanding customer service and everyone went above and beyond. Let me start by mentioning that I used their text now function on the website after hours, I wasn’t expecting to get a response to the next day but Derek started working with me right away. I was on a short timeline, since I have a fence going up soon, and everyone at CPB, jumped through hoops to accommodate my timeline. I agreed on the storage building I wanted on a Saturday (late evening) and they had it on my property Monday. Service like this doesn’t exist anymore. Great job all the way around. Zero complaints and great quality building as well.

I bought a brand-new shed from Coastal and loved every moment of the purchase process. When I first enquired about a used shed that was listed for sale online, I was provided with all the essential information about the shed, including a video taken by Stephanie. She was so pleasant and helpful that I decided to visit their facility in Starke, FL, on a Saturday when their office was closed. She arranged for someone to show me and my husband the shed and others they have on site. We were impressed with the craftsmanship of the sheds. In the end, we ended up buying a brand-new shed for a reasonable price with electrical wiring and a warranty. Our shed was constructed, delivered, and installed within a month. Their excellent staff, customer service, and efforts in trying to meet our needs made a huge difference. The delivery personnel, Joel, was prompt and efficient. We will do business with them again if needed.

I had the most amazing experience purchasing our family new shed. It’s so beautiful My 27 year old wants to live in it! lol But we need the storage space. Working with Derek was so easy and I love how he gets back to me quickly! Now let’s discuss the driver Joel. This man deserves the Academy Award for Delivery! Joel reached out and called me with an ETA. Joel then text me, 15 minutes away, then text me I’m here! Talking about great communication and customer service. But then, he gets here and does an amazing professional job installing our building in a very short time. He even went out his way to use his tools to help us remove a stubborn rooted palm tree . The palm tree wasn’t in his way, but just knowing we wanted it moved was enough for him to want to help us. Great building and for a great price. Delivery went very well even in a somewhat difficult spot. Stephanie Gallimore is also a great salesman and definitely did her job very well. 10-10 would recommend coastal to anyone they are great!

I would go higher if I could! Exceptional service from purchase to delivery. Stephanie was exceptional and went the extra mile to please me. Delivery was outstanding by Tommy McCoy and chief. They did all they could to please the senior citizen what an amazing company!

The shed itself seems quality, however the delivery did a lot of damage to my yard, excessive damage that resulted in almost $500 to fix. 50 bags of dirt and 50 lbs of seed, and 2 people spending 5 hours to fix. Several 20 ft long and 10" deep ruts from the trailer being dug to the rim. And partially filling in the anchor holes. I called that day and left a detailed message and got no response. The buildings are great, the installation and delivery are not.

I purchased the urban greenhouse and the urban shed I am very happy with the builds...I actually contacted coastal with a picture of what I imagined for a greenhouse and they built it and really exceeded my expectations. Most of all the customer service and response time is incredible I actually didn't think the level of customer service was achievable in today's time but coastal is spot on with there customer service, it made my experience so much easier.

I have had my shed for just shy of five years. There was a superior shed location just a mile down the street went there five times and just couldnt get them to get me what i wanted. I found coastal on the internet and tehy sent me to see Freddie JR I think it was. A cabnet place Freddie was Excellent. I had already used the app to get exactly what I wanted it was awsome. I returnred Dropped the money and waited patiently as e mails told me the progress.

Then Jan 9th 2019 my shed showed up but I was at work and couldn't be there. Josh I believe it was had his work cut out for him and he did nit dissapoint or give up. I knew it woud be a close fit and Josh got it to the INCH!!

The folks at Coastal Portable Buildings were a joy to work with. They made the process from start to delivery simple, easy and painless. Rhonda Edwards was our first contact, and she was a pleasure to work with getting the building on order. Tommie and Lee did the site check to ensure the building would fit where I wanted it. They also did the delivery and set. They were very capable and knowledgeable at their job. They made sure the building was exactly where I wanted it, then put it in place, leveled it and made sure it was secure. The CPB staff topped it all with a nice Thank You card and saying they appreciated our business and offering future assistance if needed. The card was just the icing on the cake (so to speak). I would not hesitate to recommend them highly and will use them again if I need another building.

The sales people, and the delivery people were super . The Delivery was right on time and they did everything I asked, put it where i wanted also gave me options for placing it. Now my wife wants one for her.

My salesman (Virgil) was personable and very knowledgeable about the product. The quality of the building is that of a well framed home. The fit and finish of the doors is perfect, I was expecting things to be a little shaky and I was so pleased with how everything worked perfectly. The paint materials are top quality and I was impressed with the trim painting- this is not a slapped together Home Depot special! When it came to the delivery and installation, I was very happy with communication and scheduling, and the driver called 30 minutes prior to arrival. The building was placed exactly where I wanted and the anchor system gives me peace of mind for possible future storms. I have had this for several rain storms, and it is perfectly dry. I tend to be a picky person, and honestly I do not have a single thing to report other than quality and professionalism. I even received a follow up phone call after a month to be sure everything was operating perfectly and that I was happy. Imagine that, real customer service! I highly recommend this product, it may not be the cheapest, but the quality and craftsmanship far exceed a slight difference in price from the box store stuff and this should far outlast the box store product. The delivered product exceeds expectations in every way.

Everyone we met was helpful! Tommy set our 12x20 shed right on the mark and dropped by later to drop off some touch-up paint I asked about (I was going to drop by their shop to get it). Getting my permit in Clay Cty was a PITA though...

Shed looks great though!

I like the construction of the shed, The installers stuck with it until the job was done. I sent an email delaying the delivery one day to get some site prep done. That did not happen. It would have saved a lot of time if a site inception was done. We had to deal with low phone lines over the driveway. and a steep grade to set up on.

We bought the 12 x 20 garden shed. Love, love, LOVE it! These are outstanding quality buildings..then add to that the sales, delivery, setup, and technical help were all VERY professional and courteous!! We tell everyone to go nowhere but Coastal Portable Buildings!!

Update 07/02/22: Window on gable end continues to leak. Coastal repaired after delivery, but is still leaking. The top trim above window was not properly sealed causing a small leak to show inside during heavy rains. After sealing, problem appears to be fixed Recommend caulking with 100% silicone or other 50 year roofing/window sealant at both horizontal trim pieces above windows, particularly on gable ends. Gable ends take on significantly more water and aren’t as well protected as those on eave ends.

Update 11/19/21: we removed two stars due to roof rust forming, see picture. After a few weeks of receiving this shed, we noticed small rust spots on the roof metal. Now there are hundreds of little rust spots. The owner Dana, came out and said it happens as part of the manufacturing process and there is nothing they can do now. Naturally, I am not happy to have spots all over a brand new shed. My last pole barn roof had the same issue due to drilling shavings being left behind. The spots never go away. I don’t think having a blemish free finish is too much to ask on a brand new product. I would think wiping the roof with some oil to try to remove the rust spots would be the least the company would do, if not replace the panels visible from the front area.

We found Coastal Portable Buildings company in Starke after almost buying from a shed company in Deland. We are very happy with the customer service and professional touches exhibited by the sales team. In particular, Angie was so helpful, kind, and communicated almost daily to let us know where we were in the build process. Angie was there for us to explain every step and detail. We particularly liked the extra options like insulated glass and larger windows and larger size sheds that were not available through other shed companies. Coastal Sheds and Portable Buildings has a 3D modeling tool that enabled us to see our window and door placement, plus siding and roofing color options. Highly recommend Coastal shed company based on the options available, the larger sizes available, and the professional sales team that from the minute you call them, professionalism is exhibited. Their pricing was on par with other dealers and manufacturers but with a better build quality.

Price was good service was excellent and delivery was great I would buy from this company again. The shed is exactly what we needed.

This shed has many extras that were added that were not on the manufacturing design. They were very accommodating in adding everything that we requested. They did an excellent job.

The entire process, from placing a custom-built order and then adding windows before construction, along with the two delivery guys were all very professional, timely, and a pleasure to purchase. After the set up, we had a strong rain for about 30 minutes, and to quote Johnny Bench, there was no "runs, drips, or errors." My wife and I are extremely pleased with our shed which will be used to store all our inside Christams decoration boxes and this 10' X 12' shed will be full.

Wonderful! Ordered my shed online with virtual color selection and it was very accurate. Took just over 2 weeks and delivery was amazing. They brought it to the house and the guys were great. Very nice and very good equipment to get it done right the first time. I would highly recommend. Shed is wonderful and made very well.
