Bought a Coast to Coast shed 15 years ago. Great experience. I wish I had read reviews before I bought from them again instead of assuming the same level of service. Got a quote easily, purchase deposit was smooth, permitting was a bit slow but not too bad, then problems. They will not let you talk to anyone about install. No communication past someone in Customer Sevice sayinfg "you will be contacted 2-4 days before install". They told me I had to rent a lift because the building was 14'. OK-what is being lifted, people, materials, how big what style? I'm. 40 miles outside town and need.some notice to get this arranged. "You will be contacted 2-4 days before install." 2 weeks? 2 months? 6 months? "You will be contacted 2-4 days before install." They called the day before a holiday weekend for install Tuesday. IInstaller called the day before. Spoke barely enough English to tell me they would be there at 7am. Arrived. Couldn't get their trailer to the site. Only option was to have them dump the parts.and hire my own installer, who got everything to the site with 2 people and a.pickup truck. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They want your business then don't want you to bother them, just sit and wait and they'll do whatever they want whenever they want to do it.

This company is awful to deal with! They hire 3rd party dealers to bring the business in. I worked with Ashley and she quoted pretty much everything wrong from the cost of the building to the install and rental equipment to the site preparation. When just the incorrect cost was discovered from the finance team at Coast to Coast, I asked for a refund. I was told that was Ashley's commission (the building hasn't even been paid in full or installed) and all sales final. And of course, attempting to contact Ashley directly and I was never responded back to. We were told 2-3 weeks, it took several complaints and FOUR months to get it installed. When the install came, the crew "forgot" their stakes and asked to borrow a few of mine, but they instead used all of mine! Coast to Coast did reimburse that, but despite the proof in writing that I provided to them regarding the significant difference in rental price that I was told to expect to pay for the install crew to set the trusses and hang the metal and the site prep, I was not reimbursed those added expenses, even though initially the claims department said that they would. Instead they said "I don't know why YOUR dealer would have told you this" to which I corrected and stated I didn't hire her, she's not my dealer, she represents your company. Therefore she is a testosterone representation of your company and what she says should be the same as your company. I even suggested that she be charged back for the discrepancies (how else will she learn?!). The install crew was very polite, but they didn't show up for a day and they were drinking on site. So, while this building may be nice and at a discounted price, I strongly caution you from hiring them. It isn't worth the lies, added expense and overall headache you will go through.

DO NOT do business with this company. Research and you'll find they are currently the subject of an Arkansas Attorney General lawsuit for consistently taking large down payments from customers and not delivering product. We are currently in this situation for a carport in Idaho and fighting to get our money back. There are hundreds of similar customer stories. This company is completely unreliable and deceptive.

Let's start with back 15+ yrs. Ago i purchased twice, I was happy with the results. Moving i wanted to duplicate the shelters. Contacting them with precise specific requests for price quotes. I was quoted price for correct size but not style i asked for. Quotes started for the most expensive. By the 3rd quote i got what i asked for. Quoted a lead time of 1-3 weeks, not really believing this I asked Several time about this. After 3 months i started asking "When". Finally 2 mo. and multiple calls later. Without any apologies or compensation for the delay. 20% was required when ordering now 50% was required to schedule an install, not a date. When I asked what assurance do I have that it won't be another 3 months, I was told " none". So to give myself some recourse I charged it to a credit card. Incurring further costs. When completed the 2 end legs are not vertical, leaning at least 3.5 inches out. Pointing this out to the installer and the company representatives a few days later. Now 2 months later they don't acknowledge an issue, and not once contacting me. And they also charged my card without my specific authorization. Good Luck

Please do your research before signing anything with this company. We didn't, we "trusted" our local dealer. 6 months after ordering our building, we were still no where close to having it. Excuses with "we don't have the components " we don't have your colors", "we have NO IDEA, when you get your building " etc.. after 6 months and no end in sight, we canceled and ordered from another manufacturer, our new building from order to delivery was 8 weeks. Coast to coast and their dealer refused to refund our deposit for a product that was never delivered. You've been warned! Don't use them!

If you purchase a building from this company don't depend on them to stand behind it if something is damaged. We purchased a Metal Barn from them in the 4th quarter of 2022 and one of the rollup doors was damaged (by us) and needed to be replaced and they were no help at all. We offered to pay for the door, they wouldn't help. We asked for the manufacturer of the door, they were no help. BOTTOM LINE they sell you something and won't help after they walk off your site.

Coast to Coast Carports is the shadiest company I have ever dealt with.
I ordered a garage from them in May of 2023. I still don't have a building. I have called customer service several times and all I get told is my file is in drawing. How long does it take to draw a simple metal building??? And they always use the excuse that "Jan isn't in", or "Jan is unavailable." I am begining to think "Jan" is just a name they gave the great abyss called paying customer hell! Did I mention my neighbor has been waiting for the windows to be installed in their coast to coast building for over a year! Customer service keeps blowing them off too. They have all the money, so no more attention for you....
Let me save anyone out there looking to do business with these guys some time. Call Olympia Steel Buildings in Pennsylvania and talk to Wes. He was amazing! He treated me well and the customer service is outstanding! He returns phone calls immediately AND he replies to email and text messages. Not to mention I got a much better building for $10,000 cheaper than what I was going to pay coast to coast.
Stay away from Coast to Coast. It's very disappointing to see a company with such a lack of integrity and honesty and non existent customer service.

The building took two months to get and that was in September and it is December and we still don’t have doors. They will not give us a date for when they will finish the building and we can’t really use it because we don’t want our tools and equipment to just be sitting where anybody can just take it. Very bad customer service!!!

I was told when I put my deposit in July I would have my building up before the snow came here in Montana. I am now two weeks away from the snow with no building. I called them 2 to 3 times a week. All I keep getting is all we got to talk with scheduling and They’ll let me know or we’re waiting on material so I change the color to get it to work they had in stock. Still waiting a month now after a color change which they said they had in stock now the newest phone call was there don’t have the garage door. I said I don’t care all boarded up. Get the building built before the snow comes otherwise I’m going to freeze to death and I’m not getting anywhere will never buy from them again.

Worst Experience Ever! Do not purchase anything from this company. After we paid in full for our 30x50 shop, it took 9 months to get the installation done. The crew hurried through job to get it done in 1 day and did a shoddy job!. First windstorm we had a couple months later, we had siding ripped off. Took them over 6 months to come back and repair that. Shortly after that, part of the roof cap blew off and ripped up more siding. We have now been waiting 18 MONTHS for them to come back and repair that damage, STILL WAITING!! Now we are consulting with an attorney; more money and time wasted. Should have paid a little more money up front and purchased from a reliable and reputable company.

Communication was terrible we had to constantly leave messages and wait for call backs. Make sure you read the contract VERY carefully as the quote does not provide crucial information regarding payment and refund. We requested to speak with a supervisor several times to no avail. The subcontractor showed up with 6 foot posts instead of 8 foot, he left his trailer and all his junk in front of our house stating they were going back to the shop and would be returning with the correct posts. We waited from 8:30am to 4:30pm for them to return and we called twice but just got voicemail, they were finally done at approximately 7:30pm. The next day we noticed the wood leveling blocks were installed in the wrong spot and the trim they used was mismatched pieces. We spoke with the representative at Coast to Coast and she confirmed the sub would be out late Tuesday or early morning Wednesday to make the corrections, we waited and no one came Tuesday or Wednesday and we received no call. The sub finally did show up on Thursday and took care of the trim. We moved the blocks to the correct location . I would not recommend them to anyone.

Would highly NOT recommend this company. They will delay and give you a bunch of excuses of why your order is not fulfilled. Not enough right color paint, rollup door delay, sheet metal delay, tubing shortage, and other bs. I'm still trying to get my deposit back. I have two friends that also made the mistake of contacting them. One friend waited over a year and never received his building. Again, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

We had a 30x60 shop installed. It failed inspection because they put some anchor bolts in wrong. Now we have a large shop sitting empty for months that we can't use because we can't get coast to coast to come back out and fix their mistake. They have terrible customer service and are just passing our phone calls around from person to person with no one actually doing anything about it. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend and we will not be using them again.

The worst decision I ever made was buying a metal shed from this company. I took off work to be home for the installation and They canceled twice. Their customer service is terrible! Liz is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I’m not sure how you guys are still in business. I do not recommend buying anything from this company.

I was very skeptical when I looked at reviews of this company. I have to say that I have had nothing but a great experience with them.
I was told originally it would be 8-10 weeks to deliver and install. They called me in 2 weeks to schedule an appointment within that week. I wasn’t ready. I was concerned that it would be put on a back burner because of the poor reviews but they called again in two weeks to schedule and my RV port was installed a few days later.
It is super anchored and looks really nice. The crew were phenomenal and paid attention to detail (something you don’t see much of these days). It took them 1.5 days. Day one they worked from 0700 to 2100 and only stopped on their own for lunch. I provided them with pizza for dinner and insisted they take a brief break to eat. Then they were back at it until it got too dark to see. They were back the next morning at 0700 and were finished by noon. They packed out all their garbage and didn’t leave any mess behind.
I would recommend them and if you live in the Bear Lake area of Idaho I suggest you order yours through JD’s Performance in Montpelier, ID. He is very knowledgeable and knows permitting details and other requirements you may need based on the type and size of building you get.

This business is an absolute joke. They will bait and switch all along the sales process. Lie to get your deposit. Add fees for drawings the sales person said were included. When I asked for the drawings none got back to me for over a month. Then I when someone finally did after numerous emails and calls I was told Madison no longer works here so I am trying to get everything caught up. I was told my barn would be built and delivered by October. Here we are now with no barn. They did confirm the sales person lied and that their build time is double what I was told. I finally got fed up and asked for a refund on February 4th. I got a call last Thursday and they said what if we cover half of your drawings. I said no thank you, this has been a terrible experience and I don't trust your business and I would like my refund. Then I was told that my contract states that they do not do refunds, only problem is they breached the contract multiple times. I feel my request is very fair and I would like my $3500 back. Called back today and was told it will take 90 days or possibly more for upper management to approve your refund request. I asked if I could speak with the upper management and I was told no, you can only talk to me. So now I guess it is time to get attorneys involved. Don't do business with this company. They are a joke! The 1.8 star review should have been my first clue.

I put money down on a garage last March. They said July, then August, then September, then October. All my belongings for the garage have been out under a tarp for awhile now and now getting snowed on. I call them and they will not give me any assurance and they say they can only give me 2 days notice. That makes planning and traveling HARD!!! If you need a metal building, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. The communication is NONEXISTENT!!!!!

UPDATE- Nov 24th - I still do not have my product. I have called weekly and I receive NO information. The customer service here is AWFUL!! They will not provide ANY information on installation timing, general status, anything. They say they will call you back, but do not. Consider yourself warned before engaging in business with this very unreliable company!!!

UPDATE- Dec 16 - still no shop. After nearly daily calls, I FINALLY received a call giving me an installation date 6 days out. I was delighted. It was short lived as they postponed it 1 day and then cancelled. I have not heard back. Since then I have called 6 times with no answer. I tell ya, folks, for real, do NOT trust this company. There is better out there.

UPDATE- Jan 21, 2022 - still no shop. No communication. Zero call-backs despite calling 4 times and being told I would be called back. I simply cannot express my frustration right now in civil words. I am cordial in my calls to the company and I get no results. The staff I deal with LITERALLY know nothing. I get the same one liner every time. This is an exceptionally unscrupulous place with ZERO REGARD for the customer. Save yourself! RUN away, any direction, just run.

UPDATE - February 15 - still no shop. SOME Communication. I received an email this week asking if we could do a Saturday install. Well, it turns out they had me mixed up with someone else....someone in Utah. I asked IF and when I could get my shop. Well, consistent with previous experiences, they said, "Let me talk to the manager over your installation area and call you right back." You guessed it, no call back. Nothing. When I returned their call, no answer. This place has cost me a LOT of money. They better do something to make this right!!! I will keep updating here until something actually happens. Like I have said before, Save yourself!! Run!! Avoid!!!

UPDATE- March 22, 2022: well, still no shop, no progress, and no new communication. I keep getting the SAME one-liners. I have been able to get to a manager yet it makes no difference and I get NO new information and NO call-backs, despite being promised a call-back. I have caught them in THREE bold-faced, blatant lies. I would elaborate but it is too much for me to thumb out. When I gently push on them, they quickly get harsh with me as if I'm the unreadable one. My building permits now ALL expire here in 2 weeks. I need to start the process over, hire out new site inspections, and pay the fees. I asked for my money back and they said it is NONREFUNDABLE!!! Can you believe that?!?! The contract lists 10 weeks install. They breached the contract, not me. I prefer to be reasonable and work through things, but it may be legal time. It is now building season and I really need to get started on the process if I am going with someone new. Anyone reading this who is considering going with this company be VERY wary. You will be dealing with a non-communicative, deceitful, company who will not respect you or deliver on the friendly promises you receive up front. My advice is go with someone local to you. I called today to check the status of our shed. They answered promptly, answered my questions and she was very upfront about the delay. They are struggling with supply chain, covid, and lack of employees. The woman was obviously scared that I was going to scream at her. I promised her I was not going to. I was pleased with her answers.

put down deposit february 2021 was told 14-21 weeks out, cant reach anyone to get an answer on when or if they might ever show up to install it, long and short of it is this, this is my viewpoint and opinion, that THEY ARE SCAMMERS WHO WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. i have yet to talk to anyone who even offers to schedule the building i paid a down payment on to be delivered or installed. give me my money back for deposit and ill get one from lowes and install myself.

Hmm where to start. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Hands down the worst communicating company on the planet. I have been waiting almost a full calendar year for my building to be delivered here in Montana and they are closed for winter. They still deliver to norther Idaho though. They informed me they would open back up in March, then April, and now I am sitting in 80 degree weather on May 5 and they are closed for winter. Comical. When I call in to check if they have opened back up the AR office days they are opened in Montana. When transferred they are not. Entire company is a disaster and half of the time management is out of the office. Stay far away. Hopefully I get my building delivered before they close in September again for “winter.”

If you want one, make sure you order WELL in advance! It took them 5 MONTHS to get mine installed. I ordered late September. Happy with the job but NOT happy about being lied to. I was told I'd get a 2.5% discount for my "patience" with them. Lol. The discount was because I didn't pay with a credit card, which they charge 2.5% extra! I took off 1 star for the wait, 1 star for the run around they gave me, and 2 stars for the lie. At least I GOT mine!

ordered 8-2-20, finally cancelled 12-15-20 cuz I was going to be away from home for a couple months, and they are awful. No contact, no return calls, no product. Then they acted like they were not going to give me my deposit back ,it took till 1-13-21 to get it refunded. Save yourself time and frustration, don't use them.

This company is the worst I've done business with. I ordered a garage on 9 Sept 2020. I was told it be 1st week of November for install that didn't happen.
It was finally installed Between 14-17 Dec 2020. But get to this point I made at least two dozens or more phone call and wrote several e-mails. I guess they finally got tired of my daily calls and emails and set up an install date, the installers did not show up on time and always arrived late in the day and had to work in the dark and then they were short materials for the job and had to come back on the 17th of Dec to finish. I would advise anyone looking for a Steele building to pay a little more and find a local company to work with.

My husband and I ordered a steel building through Coast to Coast almost 20 weeks ago. We were initially told the delivery time would be 3-8 weeks when they gladly took our nonrefundable deposit. WE ARE AT 20 WEEKS AND STILL HAVE NO STEEL BUILDING! They will no longer respond to phone calls or emails. They delete any negative comments on their Facebook and ban you from their page (which is why I’m posting this and not my husband). I will fix my review if I ever receive my building! I would STRONGLY recommend going with someone if you’d actually like to receive your steel building.

EDITED TO ADD- while Coast to Coast did finally show up with the building, it was 9 months after we had ordered it. In addition to being extremely delayed, they didn’t finish the job either. We paid extra for ground anchors to anchor the building into the dirt. They did not put enough in, leading to us not passing our inspection for our building permit. We tried calling to see if they’d return to install the ground anchors, with no answer or returned call from them. I STRONGLY recommend using a different company for a steel building.

I ordered a building from them and it has never been received. No call backs no return emails. No contact at all. They will take your deposit and run.
I commented on their Facebook page and they just delete my comments and block me. How’s that for service??
Don’t try and make your customers happy just silence them!

This should be criminal. They say in their contract they can cancel your order at anytime no questions asked and keep your deposit. I hope a few people just from these google reviews can get together with a lawsuit someday.

When I paid my down payment, I was told 6-8 weeks for install. I waited patiently until 12 weeks before I started trying to get ahold of someone, which turned out to be impossible. I finally got ahold of someone by calling the corporate office and raising a stink. The Utah rep told me it would be no more than 2 weeks until they were there. 2 weeks have passed and still nothing. It’s been over 18 weeks and I’m more than frustrated. As a business owner myself, I must say, the people running this company truly have their heads up their a**. I’m forced to look at other options at this point after wasting 18 weeks of waiting. There are plenty of other steel building companies to use, I wish I would have read reviews before paying a deposit.

Service poor, we were promised our carport would be installed in 6 to 8 weeks. Its now been close to 14 weeks and nothing. They won't return our calls, they play games with you. I don't know how they stay in business. Will not refund our down payment. This business is disgusting........we may consider a lawsuit!!!!!

We had an RV cover installed. This company is terrible. They kept adding costs on to the original bid totaling over $1000 extra. The communication is really bad. They don’t answer the phone or emails. They take forever to actually come do your project...over three months wait time. The don’t ask the right questions so you can make informed decisions. The workers were very unprofessional. They arrived on the job one day at 5pm and the next day at 2pm. They did not use any safety gear. They left about 30 screws and about that many cigarette butts on our lawn. Don’t use this company! It’s isn’t worth the grief we went through.

Ordered a carport at the beginning of August and was told 6 weeks for install
First of September was told I was 10 days out....nothing. First part of October was told that I was top of the list and was PRIORITY!! nothing. 2nd week of November now and snow is flying with no hay shelter. Asked if I can pick it up and install my self and wanted to know how much less the price would be and was told the dont charge any extra for delivery or install. What a crock of sh!t! I am now looking into new options.

I made the trip to Coast to Coast Saturday cooking some of their product. My first take was let’s buy a building through a drive-through window. The lady at the window was not really interested in giving me any product knowledge basically just threw me a brochure told me to call the number and make an order. All I can say to myself is if I dealt with this company I was in store for a lot of frustration. If they do not have the motivation to make a sale they certainly won’t have the motivation to install the product.These guys just lost three buildings from a potential customer that wanted to buy local.

just a quick note to tell you how our experience with coast to coast carports went. It started with the selection,design and contract all done by Travis Lloyd. It progressed from there to a young lady named Madison at customer scheduling and support and the ultimate service of installation by Abel and his 2 man crew out of Heyburn Idaho. The crew arrived at 6 am and finished at 5:30 pm with a perfect job completed. These people are a valuable assist to your company and deserves MORE of a rating than 5+. The entire experience was excellent and we cannot THANK YOU enough.

Absolutely the worst customer service! They have my down payment, I have no building. They won't return calls, they provide no installation information. I've called their company HQ who treat people the same way! I'm starting my complaint process today to the Attorney General's office of Idaho and Arkansas, to the BBB and everyone else I can think of. I simply want the building I ordered!

Update. We still do not have our building. They STILL DO NOT RETURN OUR CALLS. They do not return email. What a shoddy operation from the top down. RUN...do not do business with these people.

Don't EVER do business with this company. They over-promise to get you to sign a contract with them and then do not deliver. It is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone to get a status update on your order. When you do, they will give you a date when they will arrive, but don't expect that to actually happen. You will spend hours, days, even weeks thinking they are going to arrive only to find out the morning of that they can't make it that day. It's a sorry excuse for a company. I can't believe they are still in business.

My representative from in town that sold me the carport was great! Always answering questions and good follow up.
After I ordered my carport it got turned over to the national company. What a joke. I can't ever get a hold of them. I ordered my carport in March or April, it finally got got installed in July. Which they messed up on my gable ends, it's mid September and they still haven't came out and changed them. I've left several messages over the last few months. I will NEVER buy from them again. I advise everyone else to NEVER order anything from them. They're terrible! My sister's house is getting built faster than my carport!

Horrible customer service. I ordered and signed there contract back on March 21. Was told that it would be here in July and there contract says 6- 8 weeks and here it is almost end of August no building tried calling and calling leaving messages to Andy no answer finally got ahold of someone and now I am dealing with area manager Jen and call and call leave messages no call back been calling and leaving messages for three days to find out when building is going to be here. And this building is going to be covering my well and pump that supplies water to my house and it has been known to get down to freezing temperatures and have had up to two inches of snow in September not pleased at all wish I would have went with a different place what a joke

I ordered my carport August 28, 2018...it is now May 17, 2019...today I am cancelling my order. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, we live in Wyoming, so the weather plays a big factor and the population, however, when a company doesn't call you back after leaving them several messages and when someone does call back, they make a bunch of excuses as to why this or that...I do not want to hear excuses...just be honest!!! I AM DONE!!! Today is the when the straw broke the Camels back!
Oh and by the way...I DID NOT want to even give them "1" star, but I had to in order for my review to be posted.

Ordered a building over 4 months ago. after waiting almost 3 months they finally scheduled the setup. When the installers showed up they didn't have all the metal to enclose the end and said they would be back the next week. Ive been waiting for 5 weeks and I call weekly and the same run around of waiting for a crew to be in the area, and the local office cant help. I have paid in full and they don't care, all I get is we will call you right back, or we will be there next week and nothing. Customer service is terrible, and installers didn't have good quality. would put 0 star if I could

horrible customer service. ordered this with deposit 11 weeks ago. having to pick it up ourselves for installation because they don't have anyone to install it for another 3 weeks. only giving us a couple hundred dollars off for this! Every week we call, leave messages and get lied to as to when this will be delivered and installed. horrible experience

Never been to the store, this is based solely on trying to call the number listed and not being able to talk to a person. Press 4 if ur in a state that starts with a threw k...press 1 for az....ect....really? I have a quick question for someone right here and I cant even get past the "press a number if u have nothing to do all day except continue to press buttons when u called a local number". Kinda frustrated.
