1st the good, the family has been around for ever and own some very nice land to build on, and one of the few companies building on lots > 0.5 acres. The quality of the construction is also adequete. The lot still didnt sell and 60 days later they raised the price to $155k? Thier follow up on warranty and punch list items also leaves a lot to be desired.

If you can put up with all the headaches and frustration, are organized, and have your own vision of what you want, you can certainly end up with a nice home on a larger lot than what you would get with a production builder. Otherwise you may have a more enjoyable experience with another builder.
