After a chimney fire, I called Clearview Chimney Service to get our chimney cleaned. They were very quick to respond. They did a great job. Cleaned up when they were done. We would definitely hire them again.

Clearview Chimney is affordable, professional, communicative, and does a stellar job! We had them do a sweep, install a chimney liner, and install a cap. It looks great and I am glad to know the chimney and my furnace will be running in tip top shape! Our basement door was missing some screws and the guys even fixed it while at my house! I would highly recommend them for any chimney related services you need!

We had many cracked bricks replaced and a new crown installed. The lead flashing was replaced too. Then the chimney was washed and sealed. We are very satisfied with the work. Here are photos of the chimney and staging during the work.

I recently had my chimney repointed and reflashed by clear view chimney. Initially, the experience was disappointing. The first crew that came out spent two days doing a subpar job—flashing was incorrectly placed on top of the roof shingles, and they left cracked mortar that should have been fixed given the price and job quoted. However, when I reached out to the company, they were genuinely concerned and quick to respond. It turns out the original worker quit that same day, and the company promptly sent out a second team to correct the issues. This new crew spent another two days making everything right, and they did an excellent job. The chimney now looks great, and I appreciate how responsive the company was in addressing the problems. While the initial work was far below expectations, their commitment to making it right ultimately left me satisfied.

Nick and Lauren, the owners, came to our home today for an estimate on chimney repair work. They were both very easy to deal with, very friendly and knowledgeable about each and every phrase of pointing chimney as well as all other aspects of chimney mechanics.

We are waiting for estimate as they offered us several options to update our chimney and 2 fireplaces. They were very open minded and both have a wonderful positive attitude and seem to treat us like family. They came highly recommended from a family friend!

I have used Clearview Chimney for several years now not only for annual chimney cleaning but also for a stainless chimney liner install and a re-point and seal of our brick chimney. In that particular case they found a significant crack in the mortar which was causing water to leak into our garage. After all was complete, no more leak.

All services have been performed at a reasonable price and I will say that all their work is very neat and clean. Lauren and her team are always professional and prompt to receive or return my calls.

Clearview Chimney gave me 2 quotes regarding my chimney. One to repair and reseal it and cap it. The other was to take it down completely. Both prices were excellent. (I had other quotes). We chose to have the chimney dismantled and removed. They did a top notch job. They left my yard clean and the area neat every day. They completed the job timely and communicated and kept me informed when the weather was causing a short delay. They even provided a great contractor reference to repair the exterior wall where the fireplace came through and the siding behind where the chimney had been built. In this day, great service and communication is not easy to find. I'm glad I found Clearview Chimney and highly recommend them.

Our fireplace had complex problems and needed significent redesign and reconstruction. The Clearview professionals diagnosed the problrms, explained the issues and possible solutions, then efficiently and expertly deconstructed and reconstructed our system. We are so happy!

We loved and use this company multiple times under the previous owners when it was certified chimney solutions. We had scheduled service for today to have our chimney serviced, and we even called yesterday to confirm that the weather would not be a problem and they told us it would not be and everything was all set. We were scheduled for 8 o’clock and I received a text at 8:30 saying that they would have to cancel due to weather (rain, we have newly installed caps on both chimneys for some context, so both chimneys are currently dry) We will be finding another company moving forward to complete all of our chimney needs. People have to take work off when their home needs to be serviced, and it seems very unprofessional to text to cancel when your suppose to be there.

Very pleased with this company for their work on our chimney. Lauren is very responsive via telephone and email. We did have a delay in scheduling due to all the rain but that's out of everyone's control. She kept us updated when the job would start and when it would be finished. We had concerns with our newly installed roof. They kept this in mind and were very careful with their work! Very impressed!

The service was amazing the had a tech come out that day. which was amazing. I called about ten different people and they were the only ones that could help my family.. The tech was professional and unbelievably helpful.. I highly recommend this company.

When we first contacted Clearview Chimney to replace our old clay flue with a stainless steel liner, we were impressed with their knowledge. We knew we were seeking service at a busy time of year, and were pleased when they scheduled us. Our chimney had four separate clay flues inside it. They had to remove one of them, replacing it with a new liner, without damaging the others. When they got about halfway down the height of our chimney, they discovered that the remaining clay sections were embedded in concrete. They were unfazed, though it contributed to a much tougher job. About a year after the installation an issue surfaced, and and they stood behind their work, going so far as to have a custom piece of pipe made and installing it. Their workers at all times were knowledgeable and friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. I feel comfortable recommending them.

Techs came out . refused to clean and said we needed a sleeve without even looking or taking measurements.guy was rude and short. Said he would email my husband a quote.never got one and never got a call. left in a huff no nice to meet, no have a good day we'll be in touch.. nothing

3 years ago Shamrock chimney came to y house to replace a flu and parge the firebox . They took $1,000.00 of my money and SCREWED. I went to use the fireplace and as the ROOM FILLED WITH THICK SMOKE, I really thought we would perish. The next morning I called clearview Chimney. Chad, like an angel from heaven came to the house, showed me where SHAMROCK DIDNT DO THE JOB, and handed me THE SOLUTION! Every step of the way, and in REAL TIME. I got a five star chimney-cleaning with Clearview recently. Their customer service was excellent. The technicians arrived promptly, they were friendly, and worked efficiently. The office staff was pleasant to deal with. They answered all of my questions and the price was reasonable. I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I scheduled a chimney cleaning for the time slot of 2:00 - 4:00pm and asked if they could come on the later side as only my wife would be home. What do they do.. come 15 minutes before their time slot. I rush home as fast as I can and minutes before I get there the worker leaves. When I do a quick inspection I noticed he broke off a piece of the wall tile, which is now also chipped, and cracked the seal to the chimney. Not satisfied and not going back there again.

Lauren and the team did a fantastic job rebuilding the crown of my chimney. They assembled the staging and removed the damaged portion the day before and completely disposed of the debris. They rebuild the new crown, applied waterproofing and sealed the lead flashing. They responded to and answered questions quickly and thoroughly and offered solutions and pricing within the hour. Their estimate was very reasonable compared to their competitors. We couldn't be happier with the service and solutions and will have them back when it's time to install the pellet stove. 5-stars!

Had a weird kind of chaotic construction going on at my house since November. We had to tear down our chimney and Certified Chimney Solutions worked around this chaos. They installed a new class a flue pipe so we could have heat this winter. I'm happy with the install and the crew was always friendly. Thanks!

I requested the installation of a woodstove insert and chimney liner. I had already taken the wood stove insert inside into the room it was going to be installed. First the guy shows up and as I'm standing in my driveway taking out my trash he says , " dude your not going to follow me around all day right, cause I dont do that " . Few hours go by and he had to leave to get more tools, as he was un prepared for the job, comes back an hour later. Then he tells me a few hours later that he cant finish the job because he didn't have enough time to do some work to the chimney. I had already paid for the job in full , so i expected that id get a call to reschedule the rest of the job. This was all on November 11th 2021. I let some time go , but called and rescheduled. There was one day they were supposed to come (December 20th) but they were a no call no show. I have called back and left five voice-mail messages to please get back to me, but they haven't. It's been a terrible experience.

They rebuilt my chimney in December 2020 for 3030.00. I've since had 2 contractors give me quotes for a new roof and both of them told me I should also have the chimney rebuilt. I told them I DID have it rebuilt. Unfortunately they said it was very poor work. I'm a local business owner and rarely give poor reviews, but this is well deserved.

Certified Chimney Solutions did a great job for me on short notice. The two gentlemen arrived on time, introduced themselves, were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and very capable and competent. They diagnosed the problem quickly, resolved it just at quickly, cleaned up after themselves and we're gone in less than an hour. They answered all my questions and made some very good recommendations. I will hire them again in the future.

I made an appointment to have our chimney cleaned. I was given a 2 hour window for when they would come. I called when they were late. I was told “you are on the schedule, let me see where the guys are and I will call you right back”. After that no show, no call. Thanks for wasting my time.

The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional, told us she couldn’t help us without even knowing what type of service we would needed and finally hung up the phone on me while i was still talking. I tried calling back and she refused to pick up. I will not be calling them again. I should’ve read the reviews first buyer be ware, use another company.

I just hired this company to repair some walls of my chimney that were collapsed...they schedule my job for September 21st. They cancelled me that same day...and rescheduled me for Friday September 24th...during this week I called the company and emailed them to get a confirmation for Friday...never responded until the day before....at that point I should knew better..but because want to fix my cimney issue a soon as possible I move forward with them...so after the job was done one of the workers called me to get a check as payment. I told them I'm going to do the payment with a credit card ..the employee time the lady from the office will calmed back to process the payment..that never happened.. ...so I called this company to get some answers cause I noticed that the chimney walls that they done were not straight..the chimney looks tilt..(see pics attached) ..the lady who answer the phone and told me that she will put me in contact with the owner ..When she called back 5 min later in a conference call with me and the company owner...this guy start yelling at me ... saying that I have to pay what we agreed...and start demanding my credit card number through the phone call....he didnt knew or let me explain the reason of my call.....I never ever in my life was so disrespected... After he finished yelling at me ...I explained to him that I never refuse to pay ...that I just have some questions because I'm not related with chimney repair...after I was yelled and literally try to humiliated me ..he apologies to me..too late......This guy is very unprofessional..have 0 customer service skills...and as a landlord and owner of multiple properties I Will not recommend this people again....this was a very disappointing experience.

The repointing on the chimney failed less than two months after the work was done. Big gaps and water coming through into my fireplace as a result. I can't get a call back. I also never got confirmation that the weatherproofing was done after the initial work was done. I regret paying them just based on a visual evaluation.

Called to have work done on my chimney a week ago (10/16/2020) They are located in the same town I live in, and I prefer to shop and hire locally. Was told by the woman who answered their phone that someone would stop by to have a look at my chimney that afternoon to get a measurements for pricing and whatnot. No one ever showed up. No one ever called back. Went to another company to have the work done.

Brian rebuilt our historic chimney top and it's beautiful. Went out of his way to source bricks as close to the original color as possible. They also fixed up the smoke chamber in our fireplace and put in an insulated liner for our woodstove, all very professional and timely. No complaints!

These gentlemen were extremely caring. When Brian told me what needed to be done and why. His explanation was clear and he showed me what the problems were. A follow-up appointment was scheduled and they were right on time.
They will be my regular service providers.

I had a very positive experience with Certified Chimney Solutions during my main chimney rebuild and second chimney repoint. Lauren, Brian and Hayden were very professionals during all phases of the process. While on-site, Brian and Hayden were very cooperative and did the extra things to make them stand apart from other companies. They treated me more like a fried rather than just a customer. I highly recommend them..

We used Certified Chimney for an extensive project including lining our chimney, installing an air vent to our wood stove and a installing a wind beater chimney cap. They were extremely knowledgable, responsive, committed to performing the work accurately and cleanly. In the process we were educated about many aspects of use of our wood stove. We will continue to use them for chimney sweeping and any further work. We highly recommend them!

We moved into a new home this March. One of our most pressing projects was a chimney that by the looks of it had not been touched since the house was first built in 1928! A lot of mortar was missing and the chimney had a prominent lean to it above the roofline--never an ideal situation!

That being said, I could not be happier with the work Brian did from the estimate to the end of the job. The price was incredibly reasonable given the amount of work that had to be done--a total rebuild from the roofline up, new flashing, new cap, new liner, the works! But Brian's price was considerably less than other estimates.

Not only was the pricing great, the craftsmanship was, too! Brian is a total professional who takes pride in doing great work. He is an honest and fair guy. Lauren, who handles the back end of operations, was equally a pleasure to work with. She gave us all the updates we could have asked for before the project began and through its completion.

This is all to say that if you are looking for chimney work and are in central Massachusetts, look no further than the team at CCS! We will be recommending them to whomever we can going forward.

When I bought my house I needed a few updates to my chimney cap. They were able to come very quickly and take care of it. I've since called on them for a chimney cleaning and again, quick scheduling. Arrived on time and everything done at a great price. They're my regular chimney guys now. :)

Very friendly, high quality work and thorough. Didn't miss any details on a chimney re-pointing as well as stair replacement project. They had some great ideas and suggestions both on the looks of the stairs and improvements so it would last a long time as well. I would recommend and will likely be using them again!
