We hired Clearspan Contracting to do our home renovation for both levels of our house, included in the reno was a two bedroom legal basement suite. We approached several other contractors and by far Clearspan Contracting had the best vision on how to rework and modernize our dated house. They gave us a layout that maximized space and function. Spencer and Kevin were professional and communicable; they kept us informed on the process, delays and cost. They were proactive in helping us find ways to stay within our budget without having to compromise on style. The finished product exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier. Everyone compliments on how remarkable the house looks, especially the kitchen!

Our experience with Spencer and Kevin at Clearspan was phenomenal. From the initial consultation through to completion, they were punctual, professional, knowledgeable and personable. As a busy family with young children, sticking to the project timeframe was extremely important to us. They gave us a specific timeline for our renovation (12 weeks upstairs and 8 weeks downstairs) and they delivered as promised.
They were with us through selection of products, referrals for product selection (flooring, tiles, etc) and any other questions we had along the way. Kevin was always there when tradespeople came to oversee the project and ensure work was underway as per Clearspan standards. The finishing of the project from final touches, down to cleaning was superb.
The experience provided by Clearspan is exactly what we were looking for. We highly recommend them for any project big or small!

We have a late but groovy 1970s home that needed the bathrooms redone, water pipes updated, some flooring, a sliding door installed, plus a few other miscellaneous things. I suppose we aren't the only people with a long list of things we wanted done, and a limited budget. Clearspan's transparent costing model and project management program allowed us to assess, re-assess and make changes with no hassle. Personable, easy-going and -- more importantly -- easy to reach people really made the whole thing easy-peasy. I highly recommend giving them a call.

Clearspan did a relatively significant bathroom renovation for us, along with some other random work throughout our house. We will never consider working with anyone other than Clearspan for any work we need done. It's just an altogether different and positive experience.

As you may know, renovations can be very stressful, but working with Clearspan somehow removes almost all of that stress. The owners are relaxed, personable, responsive, and willing to answer any questions you may have at any point. The Clearspan employee who spent A LOT of time at our house was an absolute pleasure to have around, to the point where our 5 year old son was asking "is Steve coming today?!" On top of that, virtually every single one of the subcontractors they sent (plumbers, drywallers, tilers, etc.) were equally a pleasure to work with, which reflects extremely well on Clearspan and their selection of which subcontractors to hire.

The work itself was also top-notch, and equally importantly when minor issues came up (inevitable in any project), there was zero attempt to avoid or pass blame, nickel-and-dime, or justify why it shouldn't be fixed. Things were just...fixed. No questions asked. I realize this all sounds too good to be true, and we had some experiences with other contractors that make this all sound like a fairy tale, but I can assure you that you will not regret hiring Clearspan for any project that you are considering.

We hired Clearspan for a major renovation of our 1948 home after finding them online. The scope of the Reno was huge and took 8 months. The project included asbestos remediation, replacing the entire home’s plumbing, a major electrical upgrade, adding a central vacuum and air-conditioning, structural repairs to our roof, new Hardie siding, a new roof, addition of a large covered deck, landscaping and stonework. The entire main floor was stripped to the studs with a new kitchen, bathroom and fireplace installation, smart home wiring, a basement upgrade to install a bathroom, drywall and flooring. For the interior design, Clearspan recommended AR Interiors and then executed their beautiful design plan perfectly. The result is stunning. They transformed our cramped, well worn 1948 house into a bright, beautiful and modern home. Kevin, Spencer, and Steven are a great team to work with. Kevin manages the work and he is very knowledgeable and has great ideas and suggestions. The trades Clearspan hired performed quality work and each one contributed to a fantastic result. Every meeting and interaction with Clearspan was positive and we appreciated their sense of humour and each of their approachable, down to earth personalities. It’s a pleasure to recommend Clearspan, and the result they were able to attain for our home is a recommendation in itself.

I cannot speak highly enough about Clearspan. We had our home remodelled with them last year and we were impressed by their high degree of attention to quality and professionalism across the board. They are super supportive and responsive to our questions and concerns. These guys are the best!

They were very professional and kept us fully informed at each step of our bathroom renovation. The people they used were great craftsmen and did a professional job under some difficult circumstances. I will be using Kevin to manage all of my future projects. Great people, great job.

They installed a window for me. Took two existing windows out, removed wall in between, and put in one big window as asked. They stayed within budget. We’re quick and completed the job faster then I thought. I am so happy! And will be calling them back for more work in the future. I full recommend them.

We recently underwent an extensive renovation including removing walls, re-locating kitchen and fireplace plus flooring, trim, adding windows, updating plumbing and electrical and more. Clearspan came in within budget, completed the job on time and provided great communication throughout the process. Once the job was complete, we conducted a walk-thru and anything that needed attention was dealt with immediately. We would recommend Clearspan for any size job!

Kevin and Spencer did a fabulous job on my renovations and I’m so happy I went with them. We would highly recommend Clearspan Contracting. We have a 1970's house with tenants. The project required two bathroom improvements and roof repairs. From the beginning of the process till the end they had clear communication, outlined possible options, allowed an option if we wanted to be involved with the process and kept us informed of any concerns due to the age of the house. During the project Clearspan worked closely with their suppliers and trades to insure a positive end result. It was reassuring that everyone involved treated us; the client, as well as our tenants as an important part of the project. Can't say enough good things about Kevin + Spencer! Would recommend Clearspan to any friends or family. Clearspan did a complete renovation of our closed concept 90's home, opened it up and basically gave us a brand new house. They are easy to work with, made our visions (sometimes complicated visions) become reality, stayed on budget, were full of great ideas and alternatives when it came to the design process. We contacted Clearspan to get a quote to replace a side deck & stairs that were old and needed to be replaced for safety. Kevin came out to take a look, and helped us come up with a design to replace the deck with stairs only, which are super functional and were within our budget! Will definitely contact them again for our next project.

I found Kevin Neufeld and Clearspan in an internet search looking for a renovation company to diagnose and repair an exterior leak in my home, replace weather damaged cedar siding and do several other smaller repairs inside and out before my house was set to be painted and sold.
