I am happy and proud to recommend CKA Mechanical! Brian Akroyd has been servicing my furnace for the past 3 years. Although my furnace is ~15 years old, he always fixes my specific issue and doesn’t try to upsell me or convince me it’s time for a new furnace.

Brian is an incredibly hard working and experienced technician/small business owner. He’s a straight shooter, who operates honestly and with integrity. Brian takes pride in his work and does his best for his customers. He addresses issues and then checks, fixes, adjusts anything else that may cause problems further down the road.

Brian was great. He arrived on time and replaced the heat exchanger in the amount of time he estimated it would. The price was exactly as he said, and there were no surprises. I highly recommend CKA mechanical!

There are still old school, honest business owners out there. CKA took my phone call for my furnace issue and fit me into their schedule same day within a couple hours of my service request. Brian came out in the window of time that was communicated to me and troubleshooted the issue quickly. Dirty pilot sensor. While other companies have tried to gouge me for a simple repair, Brian just wanted to get my furnace running. No parts needed just a little cleaning. I appreciate that type of honesty and level of service. I will now be proudly displaying a CKA service log on the side of my furnace.

New to the neighborhood, I was scrambling to find HVAC service when my furnace decided to give up on my as soon as cold weather hit. Using my famed internet research, I decided to call upon CKA mechanical. Brian solved our problem and charged us a fair fee. He explained everything that was done, so we knew exactly what the problem was.

Now here's the best part. The furnace started acting up again in a few weeks so I called CKA mechanical for help. Despite a really busy schedule, Brian was able to accommodate us on the same day. He saw that the problem reoccurred due to some built up moisture. Did not charge us for the revisit and I am really grateful for that. I highly recommend CKA mechanical for any HVAC needs. My furnace sounded like a jet plane on takeoff! I first called an HVAC shop that I've dealt with before. They don't come to Genoa anymore. I was referred to CKA Mechanical. I figured that if a professional referred them they must be pretty good. They were able to schedule me within 24 hours. CKA Mechanical was great to work with! We just moved into a house and we discovered we had a natural gas leak. Brian came out on a Sunday to repair the leaks the gas company identified. Work was efficiently done at a fair price. Would highly recommend and will use again for future work.

A/C stopped working last night, Matt was here promptly on time and got to work right away! He troubleshot the problem until it was fixed and I didn’t feel it was rushed at all. Fantastic experience! Our air conditioner went out during the extreme heat. Needed a new unit. Replace both air conditioner and furnace. The owner, Brian and his employee Matt are wonderful. They worked tireless 13 hour day to get us back up and running. Came back today to finish up. I highly recommend!! You won't be disappointed.

Great service, called for same day service because the ac had leaked all over. They arrived in less than 2 hrs, very nice and had everything ready to go within an hour. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend! CKA has saved me multiple times and are very pleasant to work with. From regular maintenance, a/c not cooling and water heater breakdown they have always been able to come out and fix my issue promptly. Called CKA Mechanical to schedule a tune up and Matt was here within an hour. Matt was very professional and walked me through the entire process. Price was great and will call them again in the fall to come back to tune up the furnace. Great experience all-around!

A/C went out on first day we turned it on— hottest day this year so far. Brian came out quickly and handled everything very well. Turned out to be an unusual electrical problem that required expert troubleshooting.

I have used CKA for 13 years. They are extremely knowledgeable in their field. Throughout the years they have replaced an air conditioner than was installed when my house was built…1968. They also installed a hot water and furnace. When a schedule is made for yearly check-ups, they are always on time.

Today was the third time we had CKA Mecanical come out. Two times being for a clean and check and one being to fix our blower motor in the freezing winter temps. The staff is professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I would recommend this company for all your HVAC needs. 10/10.

Wow!!! When I finally realized the water heater was out, I called CKA and they came out with a WH ready if needed. And boy was it needed! About 20 years old. Anyway, he had some difficulty moving around because of my house, but it did not stop him from finishing in one day! Sooo happy!!! Thanks CKA Mechanical
