Hired Christian Construction to do tile work. Such a great experience start to finish. Job was done beautifully. Crew was neat and cleaned up entirely after each day. I would not hesitate one bit to hire Christian Construction for my next home improvement needs. A++

I rented a U-Haul through this business and while the guy I dealt with was friendly and accommodating, I left the experience feeling a bit frustrated for a few reasons.The main one being I was charged for an extra day, even though the vehicle was returned on time. I had to spend 25 minutes on the phone disputing a $50 charge, which might not seem like much—but for people with busy lives, that time adds up. Hence why I was annoyed enough to spend even more time writing a review.

Most customers probably don’t bother fighting charges like this, and I think businesses are well aware of that. Unfortunately, it feels like one of those “bad business” practices that erodes trust. The person I dealt with knew exactly what time I returned the vehicle, so it’s disappointing to be charged unfairly.

Nice people—but I expected better accountability and honesty when it came to the billing. I won’t be using their rental service again.

I happened to find Christian Construction while doing a Google search for someone to do some repair work on my windows. My entire experience dealing with this company was nothing less than amazing. Beginning with my initial telephone call, I knew Christian Construction was different from many others. A kind man actually answered the phone with a, “Good Morning” , and, “How can I help you?” He confirmed the information I needed to ask for this job and by the mid afternoon someone from Christian came to measure and prepare an estimate. I was told the estimate would arrive by e-mail later in the afternoon. I received a text right before 5pm saying the email had been sent. The price quoted was VERY fair and the job was completed within days! Everyone connected with the process of repairing my windows was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, friendly, and respectful. I highly recommend Christian Construction for any construction needs!!! I know I will be in contact with them for my next project!

My impression is that Christian is a contractor with a conscious who really wants to help. Christian Construction are general contractors. I cannot recommend them enough. Christian came to my home as I was getting bids to redo the exterior of my home with vinyl siding. He attentively and empathetically listened to my previous efforts with contractors to get a reasonable bid to enhance the home’s exterior. Earlier bidders had I believe, given me excessive prices to do the job. Christian’s fair and honest bid allowed me to re-side my house and also replace 3 windows that were in disrepair.
Hymie and Kevin did a professional job replacing my windows, and Byron and his partner did a skillful and beautiful job residing the exterior of my home. John, the project manager was often at the work site and available for any project questions. Office personnel Fred and Monica always answered my phone calls and continually communicated with me in a friendly and helpful manner.
I have received many compliments from my wonderful neighbors on how the house now looks.

Christian Construction provided absolutely prompt and great service. All work was done in a day and our roof is looking great. They were able to address our questions and took the time to explain how they do their job right.

I've never left a review for just getting an estimate, but I felt that just that process deserved one for Christian, the owner. I've been dreading beginning my construction project, and getting estimates visits, because even the latter has been painful at times. I've found some S.I. contractors to have really strong personalities, impatience and unusual tempers. I wanted to put all of this off.

Oddly, Christian has come to give me an estimate 3x over 4 the past years. I didn't have the clarity to start my work, and I was afraid after 3 bad experiences. Now, I have to do it.

This week, during estimates, 3 contractors were haughty, insulting and stormed out after 5 mins after fairly simple questions, I believe. Christian was in my queue of estimates, but missed my phone slot as he was busy, but he called me personally after his long day, for 15 mins.

He then came to my house for 1.5 hours the next day to explain EVERYTHING to me about my 5 complex repairs needed.

He even gave me the impression that he doesn't even care if I pick him -- he just wants to help and make sure I understand, first.

He is calm, mild-mannered, speaks respectably and gives detail using quick, advanced tools on him -- beyond all others' use this week. Lastly, I apologized for taking up his 1.5 hours after he'd visited me 2x already over the years. He said he would come 25 more times. That's why I chose to write a review for just this inital step.

They did a great job. Other than showing up a day earlier than expected. They finished in a day and made all the gutter repairs, cleaning and siding fixes. I would use them again.

I cannot thank Christian and his entire staff enough for all the help and work done to our home. We contacted Christian Construction because we noticed the wall of our 4 year old room didn't seem right. He came out and personally looked at the room, the damage and found that the seal around a roof vent pipe had worn away and the damage was from water. He gave us several options and discussed the pros and cons of each. Once we heard it was water damage; we were very concerned about the possibility of mold, so we decided to replace the entire roof and demo the entire room, not just the 1 wall. The roof needed layers pulled off, some plywood replaced before the shingles went on. Everyday they took a magnet and went over our driveway and out neighbors to pick up any metal pieces. All the rubbish went right into the dumpster, all in all it took about 3 days to finish. Next came demoing the plaster walls. The team that did the demo was amazing. Everything was done so well and so neatly with little to no dust leaving the room. They cleaned, swept, wiped their feet, they really treated my home like it was their own. Once the demo was done he sent his project manager to check the wall that was damaged and assessed the wall for anything that didn't look quite right. He even had an electrician come to look over the outlets and such. They replaced some beams, and began insulating and sheetrocking the room. Again, so well done, everything was kept inside the room, tools, materials, garbage everything was contained and left neat. This was very important to us because we have 2 young children. We let our 4 year old pick out her paint at Sherman Williams, we gave the little card to the Project manager and they took care of rest. 10/10 highly recommend

I've been getting water in my basement for years.... Thanks to Christian Construction & his Awesome Crew, (Sal) my problem is GONE FOREVER!!! They went above & beyond.... I Highly recommend them for any & all construction jobs... They also did a huge job for my parents & again - The work was phenomenal... Everyone that works for him was awesome as well.. We could not be happier with our experience having Christian renovate our bathroom. We weren't exactly sure what we wanted the project to look like when we started but Christian and Nick made sure we finished with exactly what we imagined. This company was the worst company I and my family had to deal with and was just notified by Lowe’s that this company is no longer doing installations for them and that a new installer will be coming in to fix and clean up the mess they did their unprofessional all ways giving the run around when you call they never return calls and show up without even calling in advance and one of their workers got disrespectful to my father when they showed up unexpectedly good riddance to this sorry excuse of a construction company

I recently had my roof replaced by Christian Construction, and I am pleased with the results. The process was efficient, from the initial estimate to the final cleanup.

Christian himself provided me with an estimate for the job. He was very knowledgeable about the material, his crew and the process to complete the job. He also provided me with a detailed estimate that was competitive with other companies I received quotes from but with better quality material. They provide a warranty on their craftsmanship and an additional warranty from the manufacturer as authorized installers.

Once I decided to go with Christian Construction, they scheduled a start date within a couple of weeks and arrived on time. The crew was professional and they worked quickly and efficiently. They completed my roof within 1 day.

The new roof looks great, and I am confident that it will protect my home for many years to come. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing contractor.

This was the first job we used Christian Construction on and we're very happy with the results.

We had water getting into our basement from the window wells that had poor to no drainage. Christian came out to take a look at the problem and proposed a good solution. Gave us an estimate which was very fair compared to another overpriced estimate. On top of that, rather than ask us wait a few months like the other person, he was able to squeeze us in due to the seriousness of the situation.

His guys were friendly, prompt, and took care not to damage any other part of our property. When they were done, they cleaned up and left. I'm always weary of hiring someone new, especially without someone's recommendation. I can honestly say I would recommend Christian Construction to anyone I know and plan on using them for other projects in the future.

As you all know it is very difficult to find a reliable general contractor. I recently did an extensive renovation to the exterior of my home and Christian and his crew delivered.
We replaced our roof, gutters, windows, siding along with insulation (house wrap), deck with a custom roof, all new concrete in our yard, new sidewalks, curb and driveway as well as replacing the front steps. If we had any issues the owner addressed it himself and had his crews take care of it. While we had some speedbumps along the way, any and all concerns were addressed and taken care of. The roof was done in a day, the old deck was torn down and disposed of in 6 hours, the siding was done in a few weeks, the concrete was done in a week, the deck was done in a few weeks. Moving forward, Christian Construction is the company I will be using. Many people are concerned with price and many times you get what you pay for.
We've had strangers walking or driving by and giving us their complements, as well as friends and family not recognizing the house because the transformation was amazing.

Waited about a year to write a review to see how things settled. Had new concrete poured for my sidewalk, driveway, walkway, and patio. Everything looked great, was pitched properly, both Christian and his crew were professional in their work, behavior and cleanup. Any minor issues I might have had were resolved with minimal effort before they could become an actual issue. And rest assured that all his work is truly guaranteed as he proudly stands behind all of his work.

They were always on time and at the end of the day anything that wasn’t having work done too was left cleaner than before they arrived (they even cleaned the street). Christian and his office were professional through the whole process and always responded in a timely manner. The guys who showed up were on time and started right away. It was a toilet and faucet installation. They had the old toilet removed quickly and the install went off fine. The faucet had damaged hose in the box and the guys were nice enough to let me run and exchange the damaged items while they started cleaning up from the toilet installation. I was back before they finished and they were able to complete the faucet as well. When they were done they demonstrated that everything was working properly. I would use them again.

As promised on time and per budget. The crew showed up on time were very quick and neat with the demo removal if thr existing swinging. Once removed theybwent right to work repairing any damaged Sheething and comolered entire roof within the time the specified. I would definately reccomend this company to all who need a good contractor

Christian is one of the best contractor you can find on Staten Island. I had my roof and gutters replaced and I am very satisfied with the work that was done, great crew of guys very professional and experienced.

I had a specific request for an Anderson 10 Series storm door replacement. After calling and going to many places, incl major retailers, I found Christian Construction who was the only company on Staten Island willing and able to get the door for me and do the job. I met with Christian the owner who was very pleasant to deal with as was Monica in the office, the 2 gentlemen that performed the work and the entire staff. Christian set the expectations of time in getting the product, the price was fair, honest and the company as a whole was very professional and again, a pleasure to do business with.

The two men that came to do the job ran into some issues Re the installing the glass into the storm door because the slots didn’t line up correctly, but they were diligent, calm, focused and NEVR gave up. After quite some time, found the solution. They learned as did I. That type of service, professionalism, empathy and focus on the customer is very rare today and beyond noticed and appreciated. They ensured I was satisfied and everything was working as it should. I love the door and all it’s functionality, which is why I requested it.

I called the office and spoke to Monica to set up a free estimate for a new roof. Christian came a few days later with plenty of color samples, and all showed me the types of materials that will be used. After comparing other companies offers, this was the best priced and best materials being used (Owens Corning). They gave me plenty of available dates that accommodated my schedule. They sent over the contract for me to review and sign. The workers came on time and set up their equipment as well as bringing a dumpster in the front of my house. They completed the job and did a fantastic clean up. Overall, i was very satisfied with the friendly people in the office and the professional job that was completed . I would highly recommend them to my friends and others who might be needing a new roof!

I had my driveway and sidewalks redone they dug down to the foundation to find the leak. He repaired the crack and sealed the foundation. The crew was good honest and respectful. I met with Christian for my original estimate. The guy was a true gentleman, heard all of my concerns and wasn't in a rush while doing so. He ultimately came in with a fair price which I consider "fair" as perfect because companies are not supposed to work for free, and customers should not be hosed either. The team that demo'd my yard were careful of my property and respectful to myself & my wife. I couldn't ask for more than that. The final job was equally on point, and whenever I had any concerns the office personnel were prompt and courteous. I would highly recommend this company as they check all the boxes when it comes to meeting deadlines, fair pricing, courteous & respectful.

From start to finish I always felt like I was in good hands and made the right choice. prior to working with Christian we were in a nightmare situation with another contractor who's work was sub par. We had several conversations with Christian personally and went through a few estimate updates until we were comfortable with proceeding. The price he quoted for the work performed was the absolute best I could find. His staff are all amazing, courteous and excellent at their craft! And Eric!!.. the guy who plastered the walls and ceiling was the best I'd seen in my life! Little to no sanding required.. seriously paint ready walls! Monica in the office with the updates and check ins made the experience that much more stress free. Christian Construction of Staten Island, NY did a great job upgrading our small bathroom to what now feels like a 5 star hotel quality spa. Chris & Nick (lead crew) gave the estimate and Christian held to the estimate. The labor specialists (Electrical, Plumbing, Tile, Painter, etc.) all arrived on time each day as promised during the process, Not only were they all noticeably talented, they were friendly too. At the end of each work day they cleaned up the area to our satisfaction. While they can obviously handle big jobs too, they treated our small job with great respect. There were certain safety needs for a family member that needed to be addressed in the install and I really felt the team’s compassion. We were so satisfied with the remodel, we plan on having another bathroom upgraded shortly.
I am a consumer that goes over every detail I pay for, and every dollar was well spent in this remodel. The team even made some small upgrade suggestions that really brought the job up a notch without increasing the cost.
