Chim Chimney Sweep, Cleaning & Repair

They were so prompt and went above and beyond to make sure our fireplace was clean, and that the gas fireplace was swept and clean. They were some of the nicest people I’ve worked with at a reasonable price!

Chim Chiminey has always been reliable, quick, courteous. We’ve been having them come to clean our dryer vents for the last five years. Yes this year their attic inspection found an issue that we didn’t know was present. I’m grateful they were so on the ball!

The technician named Travis did an exemplary job and spent 1 1/2 hours cleaning and servicing my gas fireplace as well as getting on the roof to check the safety of the chimney as well as going into the attic to examine it. He took multiple photos in each location which he sent to me along with a written report. He did a very thorough and professional job. Chim Chimney does a great job

The gentleman that came out to clean our dryer vent was so kind. He was very professional and did a great job. We are so thrilled to have a safer feeling when we run our dryer. Since the majority of home fires are caused by dryer vents and the buildup of lint we were thrilled to have this cleaned out and he takes pictures to show you how it was before and after that is an eye-opener. Great company highly recommend them. We are so grateful that we had it done.

Our chimney was blocked by creasote.
When Travis came he assessed the chimney and sent a drone to take pictures. Even the raincap was completely closed off with creasote and soot.
Travis was able to clean from the woodstove in our front room to the top of the raincap in a couple of hours. The whole process was surprisingly clean and he tidied up when finished.
He showed me a video of the clean chimney from eend to end.

We scheduled an inspection and cleaning and both were fantastic. I wish we had this thorough of an inspection when we bought our house! They provided a detailed report with very helpful pictures. They used a drone to get great pictures of the top of our chimney and the cap, as well as a scope to get a view of the entire chimney from the inside. The cleaning was also great. The staff at Chim Chimney were all very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Travis did a great job cleaning the chimney and didn't leave any mess. He was running a few minutes late but let us know so we'd know when to expect him.

Travis is very well versed in what he does and answered all my questions thoroughly. He was curious and didn't wear his shoes in my home and cleaned up after the cleaning, you would have never known he was there! I'm looking forward to my annual cleanings and can finally use my fireplace with a sound mind.

These guys were great! They showed up a little early (with a text notice ahead of time), educated me all about my fireplace and what steps they would take, kept my house clean, and left me with a spotless fireplace and warm-and-fuzzy feelings knowing that my house isn't going to burn down with my next log. Also gave me great advice about a future repair to be done in the spring. No pushy sales, just great professionals certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) (which is how I found them).

They were helpful and very thorough with their work. I'm now aware of the state of my fireplace and any work that needs doing. They took plenty of images to show me what they found and kept my space clean while doing it. I will definitely use them again.

Derek did a very thorough and well-documented inspection on our chimney prior to cleaning it. The chimney had not been serviced for years prior to our purchase of the house last summer, so it was a big job, but Derek did excellent work. We will use Chim Chiminey again in the future.

Pulled a ton of bird next and lint out of my dryer vent and cleaned all around my dryer area. Took before and after videos and was very cordial and professional.

Although expensive, largely due to the bureaucratic reports they are now required to file, they do excellent work, and the inspection and report they generate is important for insurance purposes – – their’s, and our homeowners/fire insurance. Glad we went with them!

I was impressed with the quality and attention to detail of the work done on the cleaning of my wood burning stove and flu. Pictures of everything thing that was found and things I need to keep an eye on. The price is reasonable considering that a flu fire could take my home. I do recommend chim chimney

Chim Chimney was great. Their service representative was punctual and did a great job cleaning our wood burning stove. He left no mess for to clean up afterwords, and our stove looked wonderful. Darn. We've used Chim Chiminey for over twelve years now and have been pleased with their work. And their chimney cleaning prices have been fairly reasonable until the last couple years. Now to have our chimney cleaned it's almost $400. That's almost $200 per hour. With us being retired now and on a fixed income, they have unfortunately priced themselves out of our budget.

I appreciated the technician being on time and the call prior to his arrival, stating the time also.
I am very impressed with the technicians' thouroughness and his explanations. Our issue they were identifying was a creasote smell and thought the flue may be the culprit since it used to be a wood burning chimney. Most of all he was very safety minded not only about himself but went the extra mile and checked our gas line connections and found a leak that had to have been there since the inserts installation almost four years ago.
I would highly recommend if you need a chimney sweep to give them a call.
They were super prompt returning your call if they were unable to answer at the time.

Chim Chiminey is a family of professionals. They are punctual and thorough. We’ve been thrilled with our Lopi wood stove. They installed it 2.5 years ago and maintained it ever since.

They have taken care of my wood stove and propane heaters for years. Even when they're very busy they try to be available when needed. I have always found them to be pleasant, knowledgeable and reasonable.
