John Millard….I originally got onto ChilMor for roofing work which was reasonable price and excellent work. I found out they do everything and do it well so are now my go to source for house repair and improvements. Mickey and team are top notch and stand behind their work!

We want to sincerely thank ChilMor Roofing & Construction for their outstanding work after a tree fell and damaged part of our roof and gutter. We got three other estimates, but chose ChilMor because they were not only affordable for our small, one-income family, but also incredibly kind, honest, and professional from the start. They responded quickly and made a stressful situation so much easier for us. The new gutter looks great, and the roof repair was done with care and attention to detail. We’re so thankful we went with them, and couldn’t have asked for better service!

Chilmor built out our unfinished basement and transformed it into an office, bedroom, and bathroom. We are so happy with the results! They were communicative, professional, and easy to work with. ChilMor was very helpful throughout the entire process of replacing: my roof, some siding and gutters! I was indecisive on color choice and they were extremely patient, brought out bigger samples and gave me their professional opinion - and I couldn’t be happier with it! Had three projects going on. Roof, siding, gutters. Roofers did great job in one day. Only error was one edge not straight and was corrected in about 20 minutes. Crew did leave a pallet of materials on driveway for several days. ( If getting roof inquire with your insurance company if impact resistant shingles give you a discount. I found out too late.) Siding went well and looks great. Again pile of debris left in driveway. Gutter job was one error after another over several days. From gutter overhang to downspouts to incorrect gutter guard installation . Another pile of debris with first pile. After several days all debris removed. Waiting on summer heat to see how gutter guards will look like once they expand.

Mickey and his entire team at ChilMor did an amazing job on our roofing project. We selected ChilMor because our home had both a metal roof and a commercial grade flat roof that not just any roofing contractor could tackle. They did such a good job on my personal roof that I hired them to replace the roof on my commercial building in downtown Winston-Salem. The Chilmor team made getting a new roof a great experience! They started by bringing out large samples to help us pick our color. We have a dog who would not enjoy the noise, and they coordinated their work day with us to make sure he was out of the house. There was one spot my husband had a question about and they quickly came back out and resolved the issue. They also thoroughly cleaned up our yard when they were finished. We can see them on our Ring camera picking up the nails and debris that fell in the yard.

Mickey came out for an estimate and was very personable, polite and business oriented. He flew his drone and explained how the software calculates materials needed. After ordering the shingles, he got us on the books for a large house and stand alone two bay building. Material arrived 2 days prior to install date and when the guys got here at 7:45 Thursday morning, they went straight to work on the house. Roof was demolished and finished with new underlayment and ice shield by 5:45 the same day. Friday morning they showed up at the same time and the building was finished by 1pm. . All of the wrappers, trash and nails picked up and no sign they had even been her other than…a great looking new roof on both the house and building. He did have to replace some sheeting on the building because of some rot but one of the guys showed it to me and they had what they needed and never slowed them down. I am extremely impressed at the entire experience. And I need to mention that we had obtained 3 other estimates and Chil-Mor was 2 thousand cheaper and used higher end shingles and underlayment than the other estimates. Highly recommend. I have NO complaints. Thank you Mickey and to ALL the guys who came to work. And to the gentleman who brought the sheeting; thank you for explaining the drone choices to me. John

Our Church, Enterprise Moravian, had run into some hail damage. Chilmor worked with us and the Insurance Company to get it repaired. They went above and beyond to fix the damage. They covered our yards in tarps while they were working, and left no mess anywhere. Went to great lengths to cover all our needs, both in quality and price, no one else even came close. These are the nicest people you could ever deal with. We have received countless compliments and inquiry's, we could not be HAPPIER!!! They fixed it all back, much better than new. After a number of storms last year Ryan was quick to come out and look at my roof. I have a steep tall roof and he climbed up and Inspected everything. He was able to find and explain to the insurance company the damage that I had. Him and his crew were here and had everything done ahead of schedule and done to a higher standard that expected.

When done, Ryan came back a couple times to make sure we were satisfied with the roof and the work.

I would recommend ChilMor for the work you may need to have done. Very Professional, Respectful, and most important Trustworthy.

Ryan and the ChilMor team are fantastic. When my husband and I thought we had an issue with our roof, Ryan came out next door to look at the roof and reassured us there was no repair needed. They could have easily sold us a repair but they are honest. When a storm knocked off a gutter downspout, Ryan charged a fair price to put back up the down spout. Highly recommend.

These guys did a complete makeover on our home exterior: siding, roof, gutters, railing, cedar posts, and cedar trim. We are so pleased! It’s beautiful! My roof was leaking in a few spots. Chilmore sent some guys out to inspect the roof and they gave me some recommendatios. They sent me a quote to complete the job which was cheaper than expected. They never made me feel pressured and we scheduled at day for the work to be done. They showed up early and had the entire job done in one day. My new roof looks great and best of all....No leaking! We had a leak in our roof after a heavy rainstorm. They came out very quickly, found the problem, and fixed it surprisingly fast. No attempts to up-sell or anything. Great company to do business with. I contacted chilmor to check out & give estimate on roof damage from a hail storm. They set up a convenient time for me 2 days later they were here exactly on time, checked my home, my garage, & my parents home all the same afternoon & had estimates ready for all in 2 days. We scheduled a repair time & everything went exactly as planned. All the supplies were delivered & 2 days later the crew was there on the date we had scheduled & roofs were torn off & replaced on both my house & my garage. All work was completed in 1 day. Both roofs look great & everything was cleaned up exceptionally good. It was a pleasure to do business with chilmor. They do great work & the work was done the day it was scheduled

We contacted ChilMor to have our roof inspected when a hail storm hit our area. Mickey was quick to respond to send someone out to inspect the roof. They found enough hail damage that we needed to have the roof replaced. While working with the insurance company, we collected several other estimates but Mickey provided the best communication with me, between emails, texts and phone calls. Once insurance was squared away, we finally were able to proceed with having the roof installed. Mickey's team came out and replaced the roof. The roof looks great. We already have another project lined up with him to replace damaged siding. I'm happy we chose ChilMor to replace the roof. I posted pictures of my storm damage on Facebook and Mickey was recommended by a friend, he sent a message and ask if he could call. He was out the next day to give me a damage report. His crew was out the following day to make repairs. We are now waiting on the insurance company to proceed with the rest. I was very pleased with the work and with him as a person. A very nice guy. I don't put my name with another very often !

Mickey Childress and Ryan Morgan are two local, small businessmen that have great communication along with professionalism that is sometimes hard to find. They were there for us before, during, and after the job. We had our roof replaced and they told me that if it leaked or had a problem before the job was started to call them and they would take care of it at no charge. That’s going over and above in great customer service and satisfaction. We plan on using them again next year for another project. Give them a call, you will not regret it.

A great experience! They were very responsive, came when they said they would, and completed the project in the time frame they promised. Hard to come by these days and could not recommend them enough!

We hired this company to replace the roof on our home. We were given a start date and they actually started working the day they said they would! We have hired other companies in the past and they either don't show up or start weeks after the promised date. ChilMor was very professional and dedicated to the job. Mickey and Ryan gave me, as they say, a fair day’s work for a fair day’s pay. I’ve used Ryan for roofing jobs for several years, but I just met Mickey today. It was a small but complex job, maybe 70 square feet, involving a leak related to a gutter and inadequate flashing. They replaced some structural elements, sheathing, and shingles, and installed step flashing. Good work, boys!

Our family had a leak in a covered porch that we noticed and called on Ryan at Chilmor. Ryan scheduled out the inspection and was able to show me where water was coming in. He suggested that we do a full replacement of the existing roof on the covered porch (small) section so that we could find the leak and ensure the existing structure wasn’t damaged.

We’re glad we did! Ryan set up an appointment to come back to finish and we found out the structure had soft spots that needed full repair. Ryan did the full installation to match the existing roof and it looks great! No more leaks!

He was on time and scheduled out appointments. Would definitely recommend Chilmor roofing to anyone.
