CertaPro Painters of Fredericksburg, VA did an excellent job painting my master bathroom! Alec, Mario, and Caesar provided their painting expertise and provided outstanding customer service. They all were very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations while doing the job. I highly recommend them to paint any room in your house.

We just finished painting our home and couldn’t be happier with CertaPro Painters. They came in and fixed the drywall and baseboards that were chewed up by our teething puppy and they did a great job painting our upstairs and stairwell. The whole process was really smooth and quick —from scheduling the estimate to completion—plus their pricing was very reasonable. The owner even stopped by both days to check in, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend!

Alec, the owner of CertaPro Painters, was on time for our estimate. He was polite and professional. He did a thorough job taking in what the job would require. I had some bad patch up work on our ceilings and explained how they would fix it.
We had a big job for them to do with multiple rooms and lots of doors and trim to be painted! He was very fair in his pricing and used Duration Sherwin Williams paint.
Alec listened to my timeline desires for the job to be completed and he was able to send a crew out to our home the next day to begin the job! Jorge’s crew was on time the next day and got right to work.
The crew worked hard and even worked through a holiday weekend to get our job completed! My ceiling looks awesome and they fixed cracks and errors from other painters.
They were also very professional and took care of our home by covering everything and cleaning up their job site.
I had a couple color changes, and both Alec and Jorge were flexible with the changes.
I wouldn’t hesitate to hire CertaPro Painters again!

Excellent work and service. The new owner Alec was very involved and at no point did I feel like the quality was going to be anything other than top notch. Certa Pro Painter quickly provided us a fair estimate and made paying for it very straightforward (a deposit with remaining balance due upon completion.) Their crew arrived early, worked extremely hard, and the project manager Tony, who is an extraordinary communicator, was kind, helpful, and very professional. Certa has a good reputation for a reason. The work was completed quickly and perfectly. We could not be any happier and would definitely recommend them.

Julie and team did an excellent job, from initial consult, through scheduling, and the actual painting day. They did several rooms and were very accommodating for last minutes changes. We noticed a few minor things and brought it to their attention , they quickly scheduled time to take care of everything, to ensure we were 100% satisfied. Quick response by Julie to assess my deck. The cost estimate was quite reasonable and Julie was helpful in advising what steps--and why!--are involved in order to get a satisfactory outcome. My only minor issue is that I had no notice of when the crew was coming to do the job. They were applying the second coat when I happened to come downstairs from working on a project and saw that my windows were covered!! The crew was very efficient and friendly. Cleaned up the minimal mess quickly. The color of the applied paint is nothing like the color of the paint chip I had chosen. However, whatever the color is, my family and I actually like it! I highly recommend this company.

We had both exterior and significant amount of interior work done at the same time. The painting team was excellent. They had great attention to detail, worked really efficiently, and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the job. I’m couldn’t be happier with their work!!!

CertaPro Painters of Fredericksburg VA did a great job at changing our exterior windows to black and also painting our shutters, doors, and trim. It looks fantastic and they were fast and so nice to work with. We will call on them again for our painting needs and highly recommend them!

Very easy process with very professional people. Made the appointment with no problems whatsoever. Julie arrive at the exact time as promised and took the appropriate measurements to build the estimate. She made several recommendations based on our plans to sell the house (return on investment decisions), and we agreed to the work. Workers arrive promptly at 0800 every day for 3-days and departed promptly at 5:30 every day with only a 12:00 lunch. No "slackers" or laziness on the team whatsoever. I've already booked the same team for more work in August. I can offer no higher recommendation or compliments for the service, end result, and professionalism.

The painting was 5 star. I was Very Pleased. The issue came from a secondary job of applying peel and stick tile. When you hire a professional, you expect professional work. The gentleman was absolutely clueless and there was a lot of time wasted and materials, which I paid for. I was also charged for 3 hours for the job, which became very apparent I could have done on my own for 2 hours. There is much more to this story that I don’t care to get into without writing a novel. With that being said, even though I had a heated exchange with her yesterday, Julie Caravan is the Best at her job. Yes, I understand that sounds conflicting but I also believe in honesty. My advice to future customers, make sure the workmen are trained in the job you want done.

From start to finish we had a great experience. Julie was easy to deal with during the quote process and came by almost every day to check on how the job was going. Their price was very fair in comparison to other companies. The crew was on time every day and the work went above what we expected. I would definitely recommend using CertaPro for your job and I know we will have them back in the future.

Meadowbrook Condo on Emmet St used Certipro to paint the entire outside of our building. Not only was the price in line but they finished on time and the job was excellent.

If I could give more stars I would. I hadn't had my house painted in 18 years. My colors were awful and the condition of my walls was just as bad. I was nervous embarking on the project to paint my entire main floor, but with Julie's amazing support and assistance my house turned out spectacular. The painters were extremely skilled at their craft and were so pleasant and lovely to work with. I am planning on having the upper floors and basement level painted in the near future and am absolutely, 100 percent going to have CertaPro handle the job. Amazing company -- you won't be sorry. They are the best!

i hired CertaPro to paint my aluminum siding. I informed Julie that the workers had to be careful because the siding had been previously damaged by a ladder. she assured me that she would inform the workers of that fact. The painter who apparently was just hired by CertaPro was not informed of that fact. He damaged multiple area of my siding and it looks worse now. The color is great, but I never heard back from Julie or her husband regarding the damage to my siding. I would not use or recommend this business again. very disappointing results. I wrote a letter to corporate.

UODATE: Unfortunately, “apologies for the inconvenience” won’t fix my damaged siding.

Called and requested part of my house to be painted (areas I could not reach). After a quick and fair negotiation, they sent out a team quickly and they did a great job.

Process was easy start to finish. I was able to set up an estimate date, schedule a future week that worked for me, and payment online was simple. I would not recommend this company.I had to get another crew from same company out and 5 months later i am still fixing all the things they messed up, painted wall paint on most of the trim,paint on floors,wall plates and carpet. They painted my bi folding doors and closed them and they stuck together,painted on my new door handles and new hedges on doors They did not bother to use painters tape on anything,So i had to remove all them and get the paint off and put them back on,I had to replace outlet cover and some switches due to paint on them.After 2 weeks of of trying to get things done right,i gave up and paid them in full to just get my home back in order.this was my first and last experience with this Company.how about given me some of my money back since we are still getting contractors to fix all your screw ups.You should have be professional and did the right thing from the get go.iI told you how important it was to get out home from for resale,you gave not only set me back years much much more money in time and work then i ever would have imagined.I really with i went with a small business company because you and your people have no respect from you customers,so did=disappointed that you never reached back out to me after the many calls,I will be sending all the pictures of the wreak of work that you left me with,with the BBB,

Painters did an awesome job of painting the main level in our home. They showed up on time every day, worked hard and left no mess for me too clean up.

Awful. I will say that I love the color. Unfortunately, the painter who was a recent hire from New York damaged my siding. I told Julie that my siding was older aluminum siding which appeared to have been damaged in the past by workers. I asked her to make sure that the same would not happen with the painters. I now see numerous areas in the front siding of my house that have dents from the painters ladder which detract from the fresh coat of paint.

The franchise owners have not contacted me to discuss my concerns. I would not recommend this business or their workers to anyone else.

I am well pleased. The crew was very professional and kept me informed. They did what was discussed and expected. The quality of work was premier. My house now looks better than when I first moved in it. Great job.

We scheduled an appointment online through the main website. Nobody ever arrived to such appointment. We called the main office. She said we were not in their schedule. We offered grace because sometimes things go wrong and we really were excited about working with this company. A gentleman named Mike finally called us and said we weren’t in his schedule. . He rescheduled us for today. No show. We called and the lady said we weren’t on the books …again. 42 minutes, after our scheduled time, my husband and I had left to run errands. Mike shows up at our house and our son tells him to call us. Mike said he had gotten behind with estimates and did not even have the courtesy to call or have the main office call us. He then proceeds to tell us that he was double booked on the day we were first scheduled ( which obviously somebody is lying saying we weren’t in the books since he just acknowledged we were-twice!) Nonetheless, this company is unreliable, and does NOT VALUE your time and is dishonest with communications. Our project is about $15-20k dollars and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I had 2 experiences with Certapro. First time was fine no issues. Second time it was like working with a total different company. They call the morning of the schedule day for work and say they can't make it . after I was finish moving everything for them to do the work. Then they leave me in the dark about when they can come and do it. I call many times to try and just get a date and got the run around everytime. Gave me 1 exuse after another. They gave me Attitude on the phone and sounded annoyed that I was bothering them about setting up a date to do my home. I will Never use them again. They were not professional and seem incompetent.

Whole experience from start to finish was great. We were well informed throughout the process and provided with options and flexibility. The painting team was thorough and efficient. The only thing I could nitpick on was that they left a fair bit of trash around the perimeter of the home when they left. But honestly other than that it was a perfect experience.

The job supervisor Alex quit the job without informing me then purchased paint to add to the bill after he was condescending and combative on the phone. He bought some colors because of poor communication between him and the individual who performed the quote and dropped the paint off and canceled the job (making sure that I had to pay for the paint out of contempt for the job). Alex was unhappy that he wasn't consulted in the quote (which as a customer I had no idea I had to work with him until the day he showed up and by then he was already angry). They have difficulty paint matching and no standard procedure, be prepared for the job supervisor to select your colors for you, buy the paint, and then cancel the job. I think it would go better if you buy the paint and do the prep yourself and just have them do the final paint. The customer bears the brunt of Certapro's internal-interpersonal conflict, that fact will cost you money and time. Find a professional whom understands the term.

Overpriced, quality questionable, and incompetent management. Power washing ruined the smooth finish of the new deck; management attempted to extort additional money in order to fix the crew's error. Numerous areas missing first and/or second coat. Guaranteed deadline missed (excluding weather delays). Constant misinformation/miscommunication between management and crew causing frustration and confusion to customer; everything was a battle. What cost me almost $2k with a warranty that protects CertaPro rather than the customer, I could have had the same experience with a competitor for $800-$1k.THIS COMPANY/FRANCHISE IS NOTHING BUT SMILES AND LOGOED SHIRTS. NEVER AGAIN!
