Cedar Country Lumber

I had no prior experience with purchasing wooden shingles, but Cedar Country made our purchase(s) quick and easy. They were informative, helpful, and their lead times were quick compared to other suppliers. We ordered through them twice and did not have any issues with the products.

I’ve been working with Cedar Country for many years now. They have always provided the finest quality materials that I have needed to complete my projects and in a timely matter. I built architecturally designed homes that sometimes require unique materials, and they are always able to find what I need. The staff there are very friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend anyone to Cedar Country to supply them with their Building material needs.

Excellent customer service & excellent quality products. Ryan was a champ for me-- spent considerable time researching a particular product I needed. I was in need of interior wood paneling, which I had previously bought through Home Depot. Cedar Country's paneling was not only WAY better quality, but the price was better too. I'll definitely be back.

Phil and his team excel in sourcing custom cuts and exotic ironwood varieties, including Sapele, Red Balau (Batu), and traditional cedar. Additionally, they were able to help source structural beams such as glulam.

Terrible accuracy!! Monte, the sales guy told me my order had arrived and was ready to pick up. 3 days later I drive 45 minutes to go pick up my order, and after chalking it up to a "mistake", he says it's actually not there. I was appalled . So then they offered to deliver at no cost. When it finally arrives at my place days later, it's short material by about two thirds! I'm never returning here again, they wasted a lot of my time. There are plenty of other good Cedar companies around
western Washington that will get my business instead.

Hands down the best business for sourcing exceptional wood at a fair price. So much knowledge and support in guiding us to the right product for the job. We did garden boxes, a deck skirt, fences and a garbage corral. The neighbors consistently comment on how beautiful everything turned out. The relational aspect that Michelle brought to the experience was a breath of fresh air. Even helped me with calculations when I was designing the project. So happy that we found Cedar Country Lumber!!!

I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was building an addition to my pergola when we ran across a problem. I needed (2) 2 x 6 x 24' red cedar boards to finish the project. Good luck finding those anywhere. After many phone calls and much internet searching I came across this company. Much to my surprise they were willing to fill my small order and arrange drop shipment to my address. I want to thank Michelle for putting up with my pestering and then taking the time to make sure the boards were wrapped securely. Definitely worthy of a 5 star review.

Tom was more than helpful with my purchase of Alaskan Yellow Cedar taper-sawn shakes. From answering initial questions to organizing the delivery to our house it was a pleasure dealing with Cedar Country Lumber. The shakes arrived safely in NY and are beautiful. Thanks!

This company should be called Top Notch Lumber. After A 5 year relationship getting my Cedar through them I have never had one complaint. This has been the best quality of Cedar I've used in my construction profession. I dare anybody to find better customer service and prices. With Cedar country Lumber as a partner in some of my award-winning structures. I know we will be partners for a long time.

Very rude sales person (Michele). I emailed a list of material that I wanted to purchase (12 line items) on a Thursday. I followed up with a phone call the next day to confirm my email was received. The woman that I spoke to said that she would get to it when she can, and the there was a long list in front of me.. I asked when I could expect a price, she said that I would have it the following Monday. Monday came and went without any pricing. I followed up again on Thursday with Michele, and she seemed irritated that I called, and told me that she was still to busy to give me a price, and suggested that I go elsewhere. I asked to speak to the manager. She reported that she was the manager. I asked to speak to the owner, and she told me that she wouldn't let me. She then said that the owner was standing there next to her, she asked if he wanted to speak to me, and the answer was no. It seems contradictory that all of the reviews for the company are very positive, however, mine was not. I have taken Michele's advice and am looking elsewhere. As an owner of a business with hundreds of employees, I would say that if one of my employees ever treated a potential customer as she did, they would no longer have a job. I would suggest that Michele take some classes on customer service, or otherwise find a job where she doesn't have to be bothered by someone wanting to buy something from her. Ridiculous!

Stumbled upon CCL's blog post "Western Red Cedar Raised Garden Beds" when planning our garden and it was exactly what I was looking for. Was nervous about ordering lumber sight unseen but so glad I did. Spoke to Michelle end of day to order the lumber and she managed to get it on a truck the next morning that was en route to our area. Brutus arrived with the 2" x 12" planks faster than expected. The cedar planks are extremely sturdy and perfect for making our raised beds. Customer service was top notch. Good people and good prices. Will be ordering from them again for future projects.

Customer service is over the top! CCL helped us with their knowledge in selecting the best type of wood for our project, it was speedy delivered and wrapped to protect from any weather. CCL has specialty wood from our area that you can't find at other places!

No matter the size of your project, they make you feel like their most valuable customer. I was building a small deck and throughout the entire process I was offered great service and some well needed advice. While everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable, there is one employee there that will make you feel like a genuine part of the famliy.
