Carefree Seamless Gutter Co.

I'm giving 3 stars because their work seems to be good, but the professionalism needs some work. When I talked with them they seemed very nice, but they showed up late. I called to verify they were coming but no one answered. Once they showed up, one person said that "so and so" got my call but he couldn't call me back because he was on the road. My question is how his co-worker got the privilege for that notification and not myself.

Also, they left cigarette butts in my yard and smoked when my kids were playing outside. My wife was glad I was home because all of the men had their shirts off and it made it a little uncomfortable for her. Maybe not so for everyone....

I also scheduled for them to repair soffit board since it was rotten out. I said I wouldn't pay until that was done. He said the gutters are a different job and I would pay them on separate bills. I told him I knew contractors usually have a hard time getting in the last tasks to finish a job and I didn't really want to pay him until the entire job was complete. I asked him what I would do if I didn't see him on the scheduled day. He said there would be no issues and that he would be there. To this day, I have had no communication as to why they never showed up. It has been 3-4 weeks since the gutter installation. I won't be recommending them or asking them to finish the job. The gutter installation was fine, and when I spoke to them they were kind. However, professionalism was lacking.

So... if you decide to go with them, ONE- make sure your fascia boards are not rotten. They might try to get out of replacing them if you don't know what a rotten board is. TWO- If you want your soffit boards replaced, make sure the price is in the initial gutter installation and not a separate job invoice. THREE- If you don't know how to tell what a rotten fascia/soffit board is, educate yourself. You want your job done right. And nowadays you have to advocate for yourself.

Great company with great customer service. I'll admit I'm a little complicated at times. They took their time and did the job right. Highly recommend.
