Andrew at Capital is the MAN!! We had a nasty roof leak that resulted in water damage on the walls and subflooring under the tiles in our kitchen. Our insurance recommended Capital Fire and Water. When Andrew showed up he quickly walked us through the entire process alleviating any and all concerns. They were super flexible with our timing to make sure our daily lives weren’t disrupted while they did the work needed. They also went above and beyond with the work done. Beautiful new flooring in the kitchen, paint and trim looks amazing, I couldn’t have asked for a better/more complete job. We were back in the comfort of our home in only 2 weeks! Thanks you everyone at Capital!

We had a roof leak resulting in interior damage to plaster interior walls on both floors of our house. Our insurance company recommended Capital for good reason. Mike came by the same day we contacted our insurance company and made a thorough analysis explaining what he found and what their work would entailed. The required demolition was completed rapidly with all debris removed and no evidence of plaster dust when they were finished. Great team and I recommend them without reservation!

Mike with Capital Fire and Water was great to work with on our water damage. Our closet door in the basement was taken off so the equipment to dry the area could be placed. Unfortunately, the bifold door hardware was damaged during the process and was not put back on originally. I spoke with Mike about it and though it wasn’t fix quickly, it was fixed. I appreciate this company and Mike!

These guys were very quick to come out to clean up water damage from a hot water pipe pouring through the master ceiling. Nick, the PM, is a true asset to the company and super communicative with us through the remediation process. The reno side, we chose to not use because they weren't anything like Nick.

Really can't say enough positive things about Capital Fire and Water! They helped us with remediation and repair of two separate instances of water damage and everyone that we dealt with was excellent! They took care of the damage and then put the house back in excellent shape! Highly recommended!!

I highly recommend!!!
After having a few bad experiences along the way and No, not them almost running me over at Wawa or cutting me off ...actually nothing to do with them at all hahaha. I figured I would give credit where credit was due. I had a great experience with CFW. I can't thank everyone enough. They were professional, courteous, timely and on point with their communication. I really wish every company was this easy, professional and understanding. Great job guys and thank you again!! You helped make a already stressful situation so much more tolerable :)

Capital Fire and Water worked with us to investigate what was initially thought to be a cracked basement wall in a downstairs closet. The team was outstanding. The drywall removal and site preparations were first rate. Everything was professionally done and cleaned up spotless. I would highly recommend this team..

We had a dishwasher leak in our kitchen and someone recommended Capital to us. I am so glad we went with them because they took care of everything from mitigation to new construction. We really didn’t have to worry about anything. They were so considerate and polite as we were still living in the house as the work was being done. If I ever need work done again, I would definitely go with Capital.

I was driving to work and got into the turning lane. The driver was in a parking lot connected to the turning lane. He had been sitting there the whole time and there was a good amount of traffic. He cut me off right as I got to him and I had to slam on my brakes. I had that right of way. The drivers are reckless.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
