Had hail damage to my siding and trim and decided to go with Canton because of price and I felt that John was an honest businessman. Took 6 months to start the job and 2 months to finish due to medical problems with their workers. People in my neighborhood used other companies and were done in a week. John, the owner, was very apologetic, and said that it was really difficult to find good help to replace his trim experts. I suggested that they needed to train people using the experts they had. The siding and trim were done eventually and the result was just fine. They did keep in touch while the work was delayed. Reasonable price.

We chose Canton Construction to do the roofing and siding on our Oxford, Mi home. They came highly recommended from a family friend who recently hired them for their roof. John the owner came out to give us our quote and brought all the samples we needed to choose which type of siding and style off roof. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable regarding his products. Once we pulled the trigger this company held up their end of the bargain. His crews were on time and the job was completed 2 days ahead of schedule. We are extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this company.

Had a bathroom remodeled last year about 12K$ in labor, most of which was doing a beautiful tile shower. The shower looked great when it was done but in about a year all the grout in the vertical wall corners cracked. Water would go right through the crack in the grout and get behind the wonderboard because they didn't bother sealing the corners of the wonderboard. The water would run down the backside of the shower wall (inside my walls where I can see and build up in the shower liner but on the back side of the wall where it can't seep back to the drain. This after a shower would over flow and run onto the ceiling on the floor below.

Had to have the ceiling cut out and the wall behind the shower and everything re sealed and repaired. I am pretty sure they just back buttered the tiles and popped them on the wall, possibly the laziest tile job I've ever seen that just cost me about $4,500 in repairs.

Don't use them, I am terrified to find out what next they didn't do.

Not to mention after they hung my mirrors in the bathroom they left their guide marks on my walls. I had to beg them to come back and touch up the paint.

I truly appreciate Canton Construction. We've had one of the worst winters ever and they not only came to repair my roof, but they also gave me pointers on how to take care of my gutters. Thank you!!!

Sadly this company does not stand for its moto. Monroe County received a large hail storm this summer causing many people to need roof repair. This company did not do the job promised. They were paid in full for this job. A leak occurred in the roof upon the first rain. The company was contacted and the only thing they have done since finishing was return to the home quietly to remove any shingles left. 10% is usually left for future use! I being a Carpenter felt confident in my sons choice of companies, especially since there were so many scamming area families. A sad lesson was learned and an injustice done to a young growing family. To post this I had to choose a star. I feel this company is Not worthy of any stars.
