Ordered 20 yds of sifted topsoil for delivery up on the mountain. Tricky spot to get into but they were timely, and professional and very fair on price. They will be on our permanent go-to list from now on! Thank you Aaron and Tom!

I gave one star because I couldn't give zero. I spoke with Mr. Rice last year (2023) about filling in dirt around a concrete slab. I wanted the dirt to be as flat as possible, especially at the end where my husband would drive the tractor into the shed. He said he would put shale down first and then top soil. He quoted a price of $1,300.00. He also said that he wouldn't do it until next spring so the grass had a better chance to grow. I asked if that quoted price would be good in the spring. He stated yes. I took down fencing for a future garden so he had better access to the shed area. Fast forward to 2024. We had Mr. Rice back in late spring. He said he would be out when the rain stopped. We went over what we wanted done. He kept stating he would need more than $1,300.00 for the job because of how things are. He and his son were busy measuring our yard. He was going to quote us a price to spread top soil on our whole lawn. When Mr. Rice and his crew came out he was in a hurry to get the job done before it rained that night. My husband paid Mr. Rice with a check for $1,500.00. When I saw the finished job, I was shocked. The end of the shed that needed to be as flat as possible had a huge dip and the dirt did not go up to the edge of the concrete. When my husband called to express my concerns, Mr. Rice said to wait for the rain to settle the dirt and the grass to grow. After several months of waiting, I called today. Mr. Rice stated that I was not going to be happy with anything and that he would not come back out for free.

Tom was extremely responsive and professional. He went the extra mile to make sure I had what I needed for a shed pad project.. I will definitely be calling him again for future needs.
