Caliber Roofing did such a great job on my house! Nick walked me through the whole process before hand and kept me updated through the whole process. I was surprised with how fast it was. Over five decades of home ownership, a reroofing project is not new to me. It has generally been a messy, prolonged ordeal, one that I have never looked forward to. This time something changed. The Caliber staff was efficient, well trained, and worked in a coordinated fashion that resulted in a minimally intrusive project. Landscaping was protected, roofing materials were both delivered (and old materials carted away) in a timely fashion, and the work crew demonstrated mastery of all necessary skills, respect for one another and for us. This was a uniquely positive experience. I commend them for their work ethic and highly recommend them to others.

June of 2024, hired Caliber Roofing to re-roof my home. Nick Ziegler, the owner, is very personable and provided a reasonable estimate. Nick’s word is good, his crew started on time and completed the job on time. It took 2 days, in the heat, to complete. Nick was here both days. His crew is mindful of your property and they keep the surroundings clean. Roofing is a dirty job! Nick does a fantastic job communicating with the homeowner. I can 100% recommend Caliber Roofing for any roofing needs. Our new roof is better, with proper flashing etc than our original roof we replaced.

We chose Caliber Roofing to replace our existing two layers of asphalt roofing and are very happy with our choice. Nick is one of the best roofers in Boise, he has roofed two homes for us in Harris Ranch. Nick protects your flower beds by putting a tarp all the way around the house shielding from debris from the roof. His cleanup is exceptional as well to the point of using a magnet to pick up the discarded metal and nails.

We contacted Caliber Roofing because when we had gutters installed about a month ago, the gentleman installing noticed that it appeared water was leaking under the shingles in a small section.

Caliber Roofing had great reviews, so I called. Nick is the one who answered the phone and he was very friendly and helpful. We set up a time for him to come out and take a look.

He just came out today and spent time explaining how roofing materials are installed and what issues he would be looking for. He then spent 20-30 minutes checking out the roof. He came back to the door and said that everything looks great. He spent about 5 minutes with us to make sure we had our questions answered. When we asked how much we owed, he said we didn’t owe anything.

Nick was knowledgeable and super friendly. We will definitely be using him and his company for any roofing needs and I highly recommend Caliber Roofing!

Nick and his great crew finished re-roofing my entire house one week ago. I had met Nick and observed his work on another home in the neighborhood, I was impressed by the protection put in place to protect the property from falling debris, that was very important to me. Our 3000 sq. ft. home has a fairly complex roof, the skill of the crew and onsite work/management by Nick made easy work of it. The work was completed on time and at the quoted price, once all the equipment and supplies were removed a thorough final clean up was completed to my satisfaction. Our relationship with Caliber started three years before we actually purchased a roof replacement from them. We asked Nick, the owner, to come out once annually and evaluate a shingle problem we had when we purchased our home. He did so with punctuality and professionalism every year. And he told us, initially, that we could wait on a roof. But eventually we did need either an extensive repair or a full replacement. We gathered quotes and Nick's was the best -- beating bigger companies by a wide margin. That was significant but it was only part of why Caliber earned our business. Nick's matter-of-fact, no-pressure approach to sales and his knowledge brought comfort to every exchange. And when our roof was installed it was quick, clean, and easy for us. I trust Nick because he knows that reputation matters. And he's doing the right things to build and protect his. He cares about accountability and he's responsive. I don't anticipate one, but if we have a problem I believe Nick will make it right. And when you're spending this much all of that matters.

We Finally found a contractor who is a professional, and provides a great product as well as high-quality workmanship. And, to top it off, the job was completed on time! Thank you Nick and crew, we love our new roof and gutters!!

Caliber Roofing has worked on several of the properties I manage and yesterday he did the roof on my home. Nick and his crew were amazing! They had the entire job done in a day. In fact, we kept in contact with him for the course over a year after our dog was diagnosed with cancer and the roof was put on the back burner. During the course of that time we watched him several roofs around us and every one continued to speak highly of the work. We had other bids but none as thorough and informative. Nick was great. He came out a few years ago and was honest (over other contractors) about not immediately needing a replacement. He was right and everything has been great even before the recent replacement.

So when I actually needed a replacement recently, I got another quote for good measure even though I was pretty set on Nick, and the other contractor was using an admittedly more expensive shingle (Malarkey vs Nick's Oakridge), but Nick charged $20 less per OSB board which is the only apples to apples comparison I had between the two roofers to gauge their honesty.

Nick did great work, we're thrilled with the result.

Nick recently replaced our Sun Valley house roof with presidential shake shingles. He did an excellent job in all respects! We got several bids for our new roof and went with Caliber Roofing. Best. Decision. Ever. Pricing was fair and hands down the best buy for the money. The owner was onsite ensuring quality for the full job and was meticulous in his standards. Nick made sure the final job was 100% to his expectations and ours. His crew cleaned up after the job and left everything cleaner than they started. They went through our yard and our neighbors to be sure no nails were left behind. Caliber Roofing met our expectations and more. I would give them six stars if I could.

First of all I have to say what a professional company . When I first met Nick the owner I thought wow this guy is a nice salesman. What I didn't know until he explained more was he is the owner of the company and on every job he does . Nick was very knowledgeable on roofing and after talking it over with him and getting a bid for a steel standing seam roof and a asphalt shingle roof I decided to go with shingles because of my budget. Overall though I probably texted and called Nick 30 times with questions and got answers every time very quickly. I had bids from 5 other companies and I have to say no one seemed as knowledgeable as nick. We waited till spring to do the roof to make sure and get a good job with the heat to melt the shingle glue good, and that was a great decision since it was 75-90 all week. Nick's crew came out first thing on a Monday morning and started the stripping job of my old roof. I expected that to take a few days because my house is 3300 sq ft with half being a 10/12 pitch . Much to my surprise when I got home that day not only was the roof all cleared and re sheeted but it was half roofed already ! Nick went over everything that evening with me and asked if I had any questions. The crew was there from 7am to almost 8 pm and cleaned up the mess before leaving. By the end of the second day the roof was completed. Again Nick waited until I got home from work to go over everything and see if I had any concerns. So the moral of the story is if you want a great job done right the first time and on schedule at a very fair price you need to call Nick at caliber roofing. I can't say enough about his great communication and his hard working crew ! A++++ business for sure

Whoa - this team does good work fast! Nick was great to work with and truly delivered on what they said they would do.

We opted for the full gamut of roof replacement services, including adding ridge vents, repairing damaged sheathing, new vents, new flashing, and new metal valley gutters. I'm so glad we did, too. Having our old cruddy roof fully replaced with all new bells & whistles made everything so satisfying!

Nick was fully communicative and punctual. He and his team showed up exactly when they said they would and we had our ~1,400sf roof off and back on before the end of a single work day. Even better, there was no damage to our landscaping and I have yet to find roofing nails anywhere in the yard. It was a big relief to not have to clean up anything after they were done. Before the work he was clear about the contract so we knew what we were getting, too. Afterward we found one fix (that was hard to see and easy to miss), but Nick came right out and took care of it with no delay.

We had a good experience with Caliber Roofing. Unfortunately our roof was not installed correctly at the home build 20 years ago (no open valleys used) and started leaking at bottom of two valleys. We have had several roofers come out and all recommended almost a full roof replacement. Caliber roofing offered a repair option that ended up saving us a lot of money (at least 25k USD). In addition, communication was professional, timely, and they could accommodate our schedule. We would recommend Caliber roofing and are very satisfied with the end results.

They promptly protected the roof from rain before beginning the project.
They paid attention to making sure that the flat part of the roof was sloped.

We were due for a full roof replacement, so I found 6 roofing companies that showed up strong on the Better Business Bureau, and Angie’s list websites. Nick from Caliber Roofing was my last appointment of the 6 to provide an estimate. Nick is amazingly knowledgeable and confirmed everything I had researched before setting up the 6 estimates. His knowledge, experience, and his detailed estimate is what sold me on selecting Caliber for our roofing job. His estimate came in lower than most of the others, and I felt confident that with the combined price + quality, we hit the re-roofing jackpot. He is on site for the install and supervises the entire job. He and his staff are very meticulous, and we have a complex roof that required their quality attention. Their work is flawless, and the high-quality product they put on, matches our home perfectly. In the end, they cleaned up my yard better than it was before they arrived. They even cleaned my gutters while they were up there and cleaned up that debris as well. The final bill came in exactly as he quoted, with no surprises. Great work at a fair price. Nick spent a lot of time going over exactly what he was going to be doing and why then did just as promised.

Caliber was very conscientious and knowledgeable. They identified problems on our roof that others didn't. I had never heard of a dead valley before, but I could see the water damage on our siding. Caliber provided a solution so that the water more easily flows off of the roof. The owner, Nick, provides great customer service and stands behind his work.

Nick was very good at finding my leak. We had another company come out the day before and the guy could not find anything, he wanted to send someone else from his company for 150.00 to try to find the leak.
But Nick found it really fast and fixed the problem. He did not try to sell anything to us.
