Calahan Bath, Kitchen and Sunrooms

Calahan bath refreshed two bathrooms in our home. The quality of the materials was excellent and just as described before installation. The installer (Tom) was an experienced craftsman who took great care installing all items. He worked quickly and kept our home clean every day. He was a pleasure to work with on this project. My wife and I were very happy with the results. Both bathrooms were completed in two weeks. Our initial contact with Sara was very useful and she kept us informed about every step of the process. We would recommend Calahan bath to anyone needing this type of service.

We are very pleased with our new sunroom. Dan and his crew were excellent to work with. They were pleasant and very professional. We can't wait to use the new sunroom soon.

So long to the 1990s! We are so pleased with our new countertops and Fibo backsplash. What an amazing improvement without having to paint our cabinets to make it work. Touching up the stain and varnish along with changing out the hardware made the cabinets come to life again. The sink is also fabulous. Love the added depth and fancy protective racks and drains. I hate to get anything dirty!

Your installer Thomas was focused yet friendly, and is a true craftsman. He clearly has a good work ethic and wants his customers to be happy with his work. It was a pleasure having him on the job.

Update (2024): I previously wrote a review for bathroom work done a few years back, which was so good I decided to hire them again to do a complete kitchen renovation. I was extremely happy with the results! The old, outdated appearance looks so completely different, I feel almost like I bought a new house.

I had a tub to shower conversion done. Calahan had the best price out of all those do it in one day companies. Good work, not rushed, finished in 4 days.

My wife and I are in our late 70's and found ourselves needing a complete master bath remodel with safety in mind. I am not handy with tools. We contacted four contractors for estimates and what an experience that was. Three of them all had excuses of why they couldn't do the whole job (paint, flooring, vanity, mirror, electrical, fixtures, etc). And then Sara entered the picture and from minute one we knew that we were in good hands with someone who understood our needs. She explained the "Calahan Way" of: we pick what we want, they procure the items, store them until needed and workers will work until job is completed (no stopping and starting with other jobs interfering). Also that protective covering would be used and daily clean-up would be done. The Dan Calahan guarantee covering workmanship and products is comforting and a fact. Their recommendations saved us from ourselves on several items and we are grateful.

We had a great experience with Dan and his team. Our project included a sunroom installation, brick veneer tiles to walls in kitchen and bathroom, and shiplap in bathroom. Great communication and always consulted for decision making throughout the process. Detail oriented from sales process to final install. Very friendly employees who left their cell numbers in case we had any questions. Dan came by regularly to check progress and give us updates. No hesitation recommending Dan, Sara and their team!

My house was built in 1913 and the exterior basement door was just as old. I never felt safe & secure. I had multiple contractors and handymen look at the door but no one wanted to touch it! Callahan Bath, Kitchen and Sunrooms took it on. I love it! I feel so much better knowing I have a secure door. They also replaced the basement windows and my front storm door (which was also a custom size). I will definitely use their services again and again. I highly recommend them.

Trustworthy---- I think there is no more important quality these days when looking for a contractor to work on your home, especially if it's a big project where you'll have people in your home for many days. Having had extremely bad experiences in the past with contractors ripping me off or doing bad work or making huge messes, I only will work with people who are honest and have integrity. Dan Calahan is that person- he gives honest advice on the best solution for your home, gives honest prices, and stands by the quality of his team's work. You know you're in good hands and he will treat your home better than his own.
