When we decided to have our Londonderry roof replaced, we knew who had done an extraordinary on our Nashua Condo. Mark gave us a competitive quote, then stopped by to take a close look the night before. He said he would be here at 7:00am and was here on time and the work started, he was more concerned about our dogs having access to the yard then we were. Mark and the crew found additional issues and kept us informed the whole day. The final product was delivered with quality, quickly, on-budget, and most importantly with integrity. If anyone is "on-the-fence" choose Cahill!!!

Big Wind blew some ridge shingles off. I called Cahill Roofing on Monday and Mark came out Tuesday and fixed the problem. Additionally, He saw a few issues and fixed those as well. Will hire him for any future issues.

Mark was easy to work with. During the first walkthrough Mark listened to my needs in roofing my large 2 car garage. He made recommendations that were to meet those needs and followed up with the appropriate competitive quote. They were available in a reasonable amount of time.

Roofs tend to look great at installation. The big questions are how long will the roof hold up? How will the company respond if there is an issue? This review describes our experiences with Cahill roofing. Our interactions have not measured up to his motto of with “honesty, integrity, and top-quality craftsmanship.” Our interactions had three strikes – he was defensive before looking at the work, he denied there was an issue when he inspected it, and he had no interest in discussing what an independent analysis of his work showed.

Nineteen years ago, Mark Cahill replaced and installed the entire roof of our house including rafters, plywood, shingles, vents, etc… The roof had a couple of significant leaks since installation. Mark Cahill was relatively cooperative during the first leak at around the ten-year mark. He did the repair for an additional charge. During the most recent known leak, which independent professionals have stated has likely been going on for a long period of time, his approach changed drastically. We lost electricity on one-side of our house and after three visits from our electrician a leak in the attic was discovered. Our electrician concluded that this was the likely cause for our power outage and told us that we should get in touch with a roofer. We contacted Cahill immediately. During the initial call, before even coming to the house, he blamed the water in our attic on everything from a humidifier that only runs for a few hours over night in the winter, to the bathroom vent, as well as the roof angles. When he did come to the house to inspect the issue from the inside, he decided there wasn’t enough air flow coming through the attic vents (which he could’ve set up properly when he rebuilt the roof initially) and stated that our granite chimney is impossible to make water tight. He seemed particularly fixated upon our granite chimney being a challenge and was unwilling to commit to the possibility that there was an actual leak in the roof. (If he is so intimidated by granite chimneys then why did he accept work he is unable to perform correctly?) He came back a second time to investigate the roof itself and concluded that the issue was chimney pointing.

It was pretty obvious to my wife and I that there was a leak and you can’t fix what is not acknowledged. We decided an independent opinion was the best path forward to evaluate our roof. We asked a local general contractor we have been working with to evaluate our roof with a roofer he trusts. The GC has helped us for years with multiple properties and his work consistently holds up really well. They found significant issues with the setup of the “cricket box”, which connects the roof to the chimney. The cricket box had two primary issues – the angles were too shallow and the flashing was incorrectly setup. Specifically, the flashing had two main issues: it went under the shingles as opposed to on top of the shingles and there was no channel put into the granite for a uniform interface between the roof and chimney. Not surprisingly, these two issues led to water getting under the shingles destroying the ply underneath.

I called Cahill to discuss what the independent review found and to get his thoughts. I was hoping to negotiate a fix. Instead, he told us he had plenty of work and was not interested in repairing the work - we should go through someone else to repair his poor craftsmanship. The recommended roofer ended up repairing the damage and after two days of heavy rain it was apparent water wasn’t getting into the house anymore. They replaced a significant amount of plywood, properly angled the cricket box, and installed the flashing in a way that could handle the amounts of water needed.

Cahill roofing is a class act! Mark was prompt with the written estimate and the Work was exemplary! I loved having the business owner on site, although, as we got to know the crew, I was completely comfortable with everyone. Total professionals, polite, courteous and did a great job! I’ve recommended Cahill Roofing to friends since…and will continue to do so! Great experience!

I had the pleasure of working with Mark Cahill when he did the roof on a new 12 x 10 portico we added to our house. He came to the job site, and arrived when he said he would and was very professional in our discussions and interactions. We went over the details of our options. Honestly I didn't know there were so many options. He matched the roofing with the roofing we did on our pool house and our main house and completed the work on time and on budget. The results were stellar. I was most impressed with Marks professionalism and knowledge. The roof on my main house is over 20 years old... will be calling Mark back to replace it in the next few years! Thanks Mark.

I don't usually write reviews, but I have to give a compliment to Mark Cahill. My roof is about 20 years old and it had a small leak. Called a few places, and they all said I needed a new roof without even looking. Then I called Cahill Roofing and explained the problem. Mark actually came out, checked it, and told me what we really needed to fix it. He was honest, did a great job on the repair and the price was reasonable. He's is good man and just a great guy to talk to. If you need a new roof or just repairs, I would definitely give Cahill Roofing a call first.

I got quotes from four recommend roofing contractors. This company stood out. The others had separate salespeople, sales managers, office staff, etc. They were all reaching out to me. I didn't want to pay for that... just the roof please.
Mark had a unique no nonsense sales approach. He gave me a number. The others wouldn't give me a solid price unless I committed first!?. Mark's number was pretty much lower than what the others were hinting at. I didn't get a quote from any new companies.
The other companies were claiming how much better their materials were the money they spent helping the community, etc.
Mark communicated with me through the entire process. He was the crew foreman. He was one of the most meticulous contractors I have hired. I was impressed by his workmanship and integrity.

Cahill Roofing just completed a large roof replacement project for us. They are honest, professional, performed all the work in a timely manner, protected surrounding walkways and gardens, and cleaned up after themselves. We would definitely hire them again.

I had the pleasure of hiring Mark from Cahill Roofing to fix the ridge caps on my roof. Mark was very responsive from the very start and professional. He explained the details needed to provide the initial quote and was able to turn around the work to be performed very quickly. He was also very honest with the work that needed to be done to get roof repaired and didn’t quote anything additional that was unnecessary. He did an excellent job with the roof repair and even removed an industrial WI-FI extender, which was an eye sour. I would highly recommend Mark and Cahill Roofing!!!

I've used the Cahill Roofing team on 3 different houses. They do fantastic work and find solutions to difficult issues (especially water) that others can't solve.
Recently Mark figured out a mystery leak and was back the same day to put the repair in place.
They are incredibly responsive and their work is impeccable.

They were very professional and knowledgeable. Thankfully they were able to make the repair the same day they came to diagnose the problem. That was great news as it’s pouring rain today and surely would have leaked without the repair. I would definitely hire Cahill Roofing again.

We had Mark (the owner) replace our roof. There was absolutely nobody that I trusted more than Mark to perform this task. His dedication to his craft, decades of experience, and the quality of the work is next to none. He is on the site with his crew and even hangs back after the crew leaves to make sure every nail, every piece of debris is picked up, and every shingle is laying perfectly flat. He is very thorough and communication is great. The job isn't complete until everything is perfect. If you want the job done better than right, then Cahill Roofing Inc is your place.
