I have worked with Cabrera & Sons Roofing twice—first to put in a chimney cricket after I experienced a significant leak around my chimney, and a second time to fix a leak around a vent pipe. Each time, I had the pleasure of dealing with Micah. I can’t praise Cabrera & Sons Roofing enough for the fantastic service provided by Micah. He did an excellent job, and his customer service was top-notch. When I had the leak around the vent pipe, I mentioned to Micah that I thought the vent boot cap was the issue and that I could handle the repair myself, but I wasn't sure where to find just the boot. I couldn't find it at any local stores. He agreed it was a simple fix and pointed me to where I could buy the boot. After I placed the new boot over the old one, the leak still persisted. So, I asked Micah to come take a look at it. He promptly came out and found that the issue was due to the vent cap and flashing being installed incorrectly. He resolved the problem, and now there’s no more leak. The roof was installed by another company several years ago, but I can confidently say that if I ever need a new roof, I will only reach out to Cabrera & Sons Roofing. It’s worth mentioning that when I first faced that major leak around the chimney, I tried to contact another company. It took them weeks to respond. I encountered some hail damage on my rooftop in Newark, and I reached out to three different contractors to evaluate if my insurance company would likely cover the damages.
