I find it very unfortunate to have had two bad experiences at speck in sunnyside. I was in a few weeks ago since they had a promotion going, but I ultimately decided I wasn’t going to purchase. Today, I realized they still had my registration for my current vehicle. I called to talk to them and the lady that answered just put me on hold for over 5 minutes after saying she would transfer me. I did speak with the salesmen that I was working with and he said he did have it but he had to talk to his manager. I asked to be transferred to the manager and he said sure but then once again I was on hold for almost 10 minutes. I hung up to call again and he called back saying he did have it and I could come get it. I did so immediately. While I was there, the salesman that gave me back my registration, told me he had found it the day after I left. Mind you, it’s been weeks since I was there. My fault for leaving it, but he should have called me as soon as he realized they still had it.
My previous experience was a few years ago and a different salesmen sold me a vehicle and a few days later, called to tell me that he sold me the wrong vehicle. The vehicles vin was not the same vin on all the paperwork I had signed.
I should have known better than to go back. I will never be giving speck my business.

These guys worked their booties off to not only get me approved, but get me the payment I was comfortable paying and the truck my fiancée really wanted! Uodate: I just received a letter from Speck Motors finance department. It said they wantedvto explain why I was denied credit. Hmmm, I wasn't denied credit. They arranged financing through a local credit union. I actually received notice from the credit union I qualified for a lower rate, after they reviewed my credit. Speck said they denied me credit because of my credit scores. All 3 of my credit scores are in the upper 800's.
I can only think of 3 reasons, that I would receive a letter like that are as follows;
1) Mistake, everyone makes a mistake. It means nozone reads the letters before they go out, or they would have noticed 800+ credit scores are not bad.
2) Retaliation for bad review. No reputable company would do that. In today's environment, anything can happen.
3) They just know what they are doing, and don't care about their customers.

Previous report follows. The salesman was great. The finance people tried to sell me an extended warranty but didn't show me any brochures. All they had was a document they were work off of, and expected me to just believe them. I had planned on getting one, but didn't trust them. On my way home, I smelled fumes. When I checked with Ford, they said there was a safety recall on my car. They said it could cause a fire. I took it to Ford and they made the the appropriate repair. So, bottom line, I paid $33K for a used car and it could have caught on fire on the way home from the dealer. I understand not fixing minor recalls, but a safety recall should be fixed, if you are interested in the safety of your customers. I would not buy a car from these people.

Bought my first brand new car today. 2025 Chevrolet Trax RS1. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Andrew Penaloza took care of me buying my car. The man had a smile on his face and his communication was great. He truly is compassionate and very kind and professional. He did everything he could to get me the price I could afford and even made sure my car is covered. I would truly recommend buying a car here. We been dealing with ongoing frustrations with the service we have received regarding our vehicle. Since February, we have had to return our car to C Speck multiple times due to ongoing issues, including problems with the new transmission and loose bolts on the subframe, and on the transmission mounts that were left unaddressed after serviced by them. Each time we take our car in, it has caused significant emotional stress, especially as we are still making monthly payments of $793, not including insurance.

It has become increasingly frustrating that we find ourselves having to take our car back 2-3 days after getting it returned to us. This situation has resulted in yet another weekend without our car, just like the past 5-6 weekends, which has been incredibly inconvenient for us. We have made every effort to communicate our concerns with Carlos, but it has been difficult to reach him consistently as he is always busy or never available and when we leave a message for him, we never get a call back. We believe we have been patient and understanding throughout this process, but the situation has become untenable. It is embarrassing to find ourselves in a position where we feel compelled to leave a review to share our experience, but we feel we have no choice.

Went in on Saturday to look at a used ram 2500 they had and they were able to get me into a brand new ram 2500 and give me more for my trade in then what I was offered at other dealerships. I always have a good experience when I go into trade my vehicle. Abel always knows what type of vehicle I like. He’s always ready with two or three options and this last time around I know the drill so everything was sent to him prior to my even going in so he can do his calculations and be ready for me to just drive the vehicle off the lot the next day.
