Butte Tin Shop treated me like family. They made me a priority and installed an A/C unit sooner than I ever expected. Their customer service was incredible and without a doubt would highly recommend. These last few days of 80 degree weather have been a breeze!!

We had a furnace problem in our house . We called Luke and he send Johnny out . After a look over Johnny found out we were getting carbon monoxide in our house bad from our furnace .we needed anew furnace. With in less then 24 hours we had a new system in and running.The crew was very professional, they removed the old furnace and boxes cleaned up after them selfs . Left no mess ,
They are the only crew we would ever call . Thank you to Luke and Johnny and crew .

Had some issues with my boiler ventilation rotting, causing holes, which was causing carbon monoxide to enter into the house (thank God for alarms) So I called butte tin and Luke quickly returned my call and also stopped by to take a look and confirm, was going to be a week out to get over and fix it but got home from work that nite and his guys were just finishing up, all new pipe from the boiler in the basement out the roof, was not expecting that awesome service thank you guys very much would recommend to everyone.

Heater went out when below 0 they had heater fixed in no time very quick very knowledgeable I’m very thankful

Contacted them to install A/C at our house and also fix ducting in our bathrooms. Luke didn't call me by the correct name the first 4-5 times we spoke on the phone. Was told the lead time for the install was two weeks and was given a price. I was then told it would be a few days and the electrical team (Trademark Electric) would be in touch to come out and make sure they wouldn't have problems wiring the unit after install. No one from Trademark contacted me prior to install.
Install happened at the two week mark, but I was then told that the electrical install was not something Butte Tin handled. Was told it would be a few days before the electrical team could start the job. Two weeks later I called Butte Tin. They responded after a few days and said they would get back to me. Two weeks later I finally get a call from Luke wondering if I've submitted payment for the install. I explained I would not pay for something that didn't work.
Another week later I get the same call. Wondering if I've paid Butte Tin. Again I explain the situation...
Over two months after the install we finally had working A/C. Then I get a bill from Trademark for their portion of the install. I feel that should have been included in the original estimate I received for the job.
And to top it all off, I haven't heard back from Butte Tin about our bathroom ducting.

I am so happy with my recent service from Butte Tin Shop. Luke and his team of professionals did an outstanding job installing my mini split AC/heating system. They are friendly, kind and very professional. I can’t say enough about the quality of service. I would highly recommend using Butte Tin shop for all of your heating and AC needs. My wife and I had been putting off having AC installed for years. However, after talking with Lucas Pressler at Butte Tin, we decided it was only going to continue to get more expensive the longer we waited and be harder to get scheduled as the summer season picked up. From start to finish, Butte Tin is exactly what you want in a business. From dealing with Cindy in the office(who is an absolute delight), to Lucas who promptly gave us a bid and got us scheduled, to Bob and Terrence who did the installation, it was the textbook definition of professionalism. We try really hard to support local businesses and they make it super easy to do that.

Butte Tin has been amazing with the service they have provided. They have gone out of their way to be sure they completed everything I needed. They came all the way from Butte on days off to fix my furnace when I was without heat. Their service is prompt and very professional. I couldn't ask for better service. My phone calls were returned within minutes of me calling and leaving a message. The problem I had was resolved the day I called. I highly recommend Butte Tin for any service they provide. You know I've been without heat for 10 days. 27° had water turned off, run heat in my room only. I've called 5 times. I'm on some kind of list somewhere. I called Ray's heating he came day of, drained water, blew lines took little of 10 minutes, 80 bucks, yeah I have heat!!

The Butte Tin Shop employees are very professional, efficient, and customer service oriented. The Butte Tin Shop was the only company in town that would return a phone call for a bid. Our mini-split was installed less than 3 weeks later. Luke was also on site every day and very communicative with us regarding our AC instillation. I am very happy with the service we received and would highly recommend The Butte Tin Shop.

A++ on service. Did an excellent job cleaning my furnace and replacing thermocouple, also found an extra filter the previous owner had stuffed in the wrong place! Technician was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Butte tin.

I run a business in Sheridan, Montana called The Shovel and Spoon and I had the pleasure of working with Butte Tin on the lack of air conditioning in my blisteringly hot business. They worked well with me and got to work as quick as they could. I had also asked them to create a stainless steel top for my freezer. There was a bit of a problem with timing and they were a bit late, but they made up for it by giving me the topper for free! They worked all day in the kitchen and weren't at all in the way or bothersome. Thank you so much Butte Tin, we're finally cool again.

These guys are awesome. They set up my new heater very fast and cleaned up nicely. I have had no problems with the heater and am loving the new thermostat that they installed also. They even called to see if it was working correctly. I highly recommend Butte Tin Shop! If you need a new furnace call these guys.

Purchased a circuit board for 350.00 on Friday, 12 April.

When I purchased, I was Not Told I couldn’t bring it back if it was not the right part.

I called on Tuesday, 16 April to discuss bringing part back, was told that was not an option. No recourse, would need to “eat” the 350.00. When I mentioned that was not good business practice, the woman on the line said they’ve been in business for 94 years. I guess that must give them a right to cheat the public.

Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Two days no heat in the middle of December no heat. Can't give a time/even day to get looked at oh and did I mention they came to repair this same problem a month ago exactly. Not very good customer service at all. They were paid in full! Very disappointed!

Called and I was told that for a diagnostic it would only be about 70 dollars. Guy shows up and is there for 2 hours trying to fix our furnace even though we never asked him to and they ended up charging 200 dollars. On top of that they were going to send the debt to my name even though the house was not mine.

Another review:
They were supposed to call us to come look at our furnace and never got in touch. We don't have heat and no other heating place will even so much as answer their phones. All of these places in Butte suck. Better off doing it yourself.

I have had the pleasure of working with Butte Tin shop many times under the past owners and now that is under new owners I have had a few things worked on in my new home, The service is as good, if not better under Lucas and his outstanding crew.. Johnny, Jim and Lucas have been more than helpful every time I have needed work done, always prompt, very professional and know everything about their trades. I have refereed my own mother to BTS. in the dead of winter when her furnace stopped working Johnny had it up and going in one trip,, their prices are always fair and the fact that I know they are always just a phone call away makes me stress a little less about my heating and A/C.. thanks for everything Guys..
