Pro Fit Masonry

We worked with ProFit Masonry on some rock work and brick work on our new construction with no real issues. We needed someone to install the floor tile and Josh said he has a tile guy. Ours was a large somewhat complicated project but Josh said Bob could handle it. Well, he couldn't. We trusted Josh enough to pay in advance which turned out to be a huge mistake. We had to hire a different tile installer who had to rip out a good portion of Bob's work but otherwise completed the job with no issues.
Josh completely ghosted us, won't return phone calls or texts. Finally, I left my house at 5:00 am to confront him at his shop and he said he was sorry and would rectify the situation but never has. We are only asking for 25% refund which is more than fair. Small claims court will have to be the next step. Greatly disappointed in Josh and his lack of business ethics.
UPDATE: You stated in your response that the tile we installed was removed. That was not the case. You did not remove any of that tile and neither did the professional tile contractor we hired. He did, however, have to demo out the laundry room tile that you and Bob installed. We have videos to prove this. You really have no idea what actually happened here as you never came back to the job even though we asked you to on many occasions. As stated in our letter to you, after calculating the amount of tile installed by Bob and the grouting done on the brick, we conclude that we overpaid you by $4000. By no means is the work done/monies paid equitable.

For months I waited on one unreliable brick mason after another to complete our job. This delayed roofing, exterior painting, etc. It was a huge source of frustration. Upon recommendation, I reached out to Josh at Pro Fit Masonry. I contacted Josh on a Friday. By Sunday, he had a quote for me. Monday morning his crew showed up. The job was completed by Tuesday. Plus, his crew did some extra work at no charge. Josh fit us into his busy schedule so we could move forward with roofing our building before more water damage occurred. He and his crew were fantastic! Will hire them again for future jobs!!

I first gave a 5 star to these guys but after looking closer there were a couple spots that had no motar in them. It's done now and will have to stay that way because it is a hard spot to get to. Could have done a little bit better job for the price of it. Sorry also was going to send a tax form to me for a write off on taxes and haven't seen it

Josh and his team are very responsive, arrived and did the job quickly after accepting the contract, and they are very skilled at their craft. They are very knowledgeable about masonry and have a really strong passion for their craft which was very encouraging for me. They did a fantastic job building a beautiful looking retaining wall on my property.

Josh & the crew did a great job on a CMU block wall for my son. They were very prompt and reliable. We were told they were the best and they are. Very skilled. We would definitely not hesitate having them do work for us again.

Not only is the owner of this company a very standup person his whole crew is amazing! They did amazing at getting us an egress window and we will definitely be using them for the other windows next year. You will not go wrong using them and will be extremely happy with the work!

If I could give them 6 stars, I would! ProFit Masonry helped me out when I was in a crunch. Josh and the team were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous from the moment I reached out to them. They showed up on time, did excellent work, and left my place cleaner then they found it! I highly recommend them and hope to work with them in the future. These guys are first class all the way!

pro fit masonry did a fine concrete block deck porch for me in about 2 days, end of aug 2023. very fast, show up promptly, and
get the job done (the footings were already in). learned some
useful new tricks re concrete and blocks and best tools to use.
did fine job w support rebar and attaching porch to bldg foundation and porch footings. half down to start, other half at finish. very helpful w all my questions (a very old bldg).

Pro-Fit Masonry is simply one of the best contractors I have worked with.
They show up when they say they will and complete the job promptly. Their attention to detail is top notice. Their willingness to take care of unexpected things, like replacing a rotten board, makes them an outstanding contractor. Highly recommend!

Josh and his team are phenomenal. They do outstanding brickwork, respond quickly (unlike the rest of butte's union masons), and work extremely fast. Pricing is very reasonable.

Pro Fit promptly returned my call when I left a message about rebuilding a 125 yr old brick chimney in Philipsburg. Easy to work with, great communication and a job well done! The crew arrived on schedule which I appreciated- many contractors these days don’t return calls, let alone show up on time. Thanks Josh and crew- the new chimney looks great!

Pro-Fit Masonry did great stone work on the exterior of our home and was always prompt in returning calls. We had an issue with doing flashing vs. a cap stone on our project and Pro-Fit was dedicated to working with us so the job was complete an looked amazing. I would certainly work with Pro-Fit again.

Pro-Fit Masonry restored the long-neglected brick exterior of my Victorian home in uptown Butte. It was huge task, but Josh and his crew did an amazing job. My house is now safer, sturdier, and better insulated thanks to the excellent workmanship displayed by his crew. I have not encountered a better contractor in Butte that this outfit. The Pro Fit crew has been fantastic. We had them repoint brick, rebuild parapits, rebuild a granite retaining wall and pour new sidewalks. They were quick, professional, and cleaned up after. They also coordinated the work with our roofer Double B Construction. The major refurbishment of our brick, stone and sidewalks and roof was very stress free for us.
