I hired BPI for a kitchen renovation and was thrilled that they had room in their schedule to start quickly, vs waiting up to a few years for other local contractors.
The design phase was amazing. Bob was able to design a beautiful new space.
Throughout the course of the project, the communication and interactions with Bob became strained, cryptic and hostile at times.
The attention to detail was lacking.
During the demolition phase, the contents were put on my lawn and driveway, later to be moved to the dumpster after I requested.
We had a major flooring issue between Bob and a subcontractor, where neither accepted responsibility and caused a good deal of angst on the part of both parties and myself.
The mudding/taping process should have been subcontracted, as ultimately this was not done correctly. Once the lights were installed, the irregularities are glaringly obvious.
So, overall, I am glad to have a new kitchen space, but the process certainly was not what I had hoped for, given the professional image portrayed by this company.
