Shocked at how thorough the inspection process was and the information gained during the process I hope I don’t need another home inspector for many many years but I will be recommending Michael Talotta to anyone and everyone looking to buy

Mike was extremely thorough in our recent home inspection, pointing out things and giving recommendations on everything from heating to electrical to garage door openers to window sealing integrity. He communicates information in easy to understand terms, and he’s extremely timely and responsive.

My wife and I have used Michael Talotta and Northern Vista many times to inspect properties we have considered as well as for radon mitigation. Mike's professionalism and personal approach could not be better. Nothing ever falls through the cracks, we are always protected in the manner that such an inspection should protect us and the direct contact is always pleasant.

I have nothing but the highest praise for Michael Talotta! I am a Builder in MA with a vacation home in Franconia. Michael delivered on his promise to install a radon mitigation system to enable my daughter and grandchildren to come up for their winter vacation. The system installed was exactly as he outlined and I was pleased with his his attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship, My radon level went from 26 to below .8 within three days and continues to hover around .5 which far exceeds my expectations.

Mike Talotta of Northern Vista Home Inspections installed a radon mitigation system in my son's home. The home was over 25 in it's radon reading which is excessively high. After Mike installed his system, in less than 24 hours the radon dropped to around 4.7. Within 3 days the radon was close to non-existent with readings of less than .25 on both long term and short term readings. Mike was friendly and professional and on time. He answered all questions and took even less time than quoted to install the system and was very reasonably priced. i would highly recommend Mike and Northern Home Vista to anyone without

Mike was amazing to work with - quick, responsive, professional. He was able to stop by my house and build out a proposal for me just a few days after I called. Not long after I accepted his reasonably priced proposal he came by to install the system. I am incredibly happy with the inspection reports that I received for a commercial building we are looking at and previously my home. The reports are incredibly thorough and reasonably priced. Michael goes above and beyond getting into small areas to make sure that he does not miss anything. The report categorizes things into high priority down to things that should be done.

We reached out to Northern Vista for some help with the radon levels in our home. Once determining that we required help with addressing the radon levels we contacted Northern Vista for help with this. Michael's firm was extremely easy to do business with (very professional, prompt, responsive and very reasonable pricing). Their work was done in less than one day and upon completion of their work our radon levels began dropping immediately to well below the EPA recommended action levels. We highly recommend Northern Vista Home Inspection and Radon Mitigation if you want your radon issues resolved in a prompt professional manner!

FYI - Radon levels can vary dramatically especially with weather fluctuations and it is important to do some long term monitoring to best understand if your home has radon levels exceeding the EPA recommended action limit if your radon level is above 4.0 (Picocuries per liter of air (pCi/L).
