Anyone who needs to have their roof replaced, restoration work done, or any exterior-Interior work done on their house, I very highly recommend Build Star Roofing and Construction! I hired Build Star after turning away a bunch of door knockers. Build Star's crew did a far superior job than the previous two times I've had my shingles replace. The owner, Chad Samson, will go out of his way to work with you and your insurance company. With me, he not only replaced my shingles, he did it with a high impact class 4 shingle, the best you can put on your roof. He also painted the whole exterior, of the house, and repaired some water damage in the house. Plus patched some holes inside that a plumber left behind after doing a pipe reroute. You cannot even tell that the 12" X 12" inch holes were even there. His crew of roofers, painters and gutter guys are the absolute best. The gutters they installed are far superior to the ones I previously had, and they put gutters on the two sides of the house that had never had gutters in the 32 years I have lived here, at no extra charge. Plus you are kept informed every step of the way. He truly puts a lot of value on his customers. Let Chad know you are contacting him because you saw my review. Getting a new roof is something that is foreign to most people. We all have heard the horror stories of getting ripped off.Trucks driving through the neighborhood, trying to get your business and lot of them with,out-of-state license plates.When I was recommended Build Star and I met Chad. He took his time and explained the process of getting the job done from the actual materials to the insurance. He did exactly what he said he would do and then some.Finished on time everything clean and up to code. I hope I don’t need another roof for some time but if I do, it’s Build Star.

Highly recommend. A friend of mine recommended Chad to me following the recent hailstorm that went through Edmond. Chad and his crew showed up on time, were respectful to my neighbors and did a great job replacing my roof. He also upgraded me to a full wrap of gutters for no additional charge. Had one small gutter issue after it rained and it was fixed within 5 hours. If you need a responsive contractor with no drama to replace your roof, he is your guy.

I have had two roofs replaced previously and Buildstar was the best ,by far. The roof was replaced in July of 24 and everything was performed as agreed. All work was done on time and the cleanup was immaculate.

After a tornado hit our cul de sac of duplexes build star did all the repairs and they were extensive. Chad (owner) was always on top of it and keeping us in the loop. I highly recommend build star. I'll never use another company. Chad is the best!

I’ve used Build Star Roofing & Construction on my home, my Rental home and they also built a shed for me at my house they did my home in one day and my rental in two days but they had two rows of shingles on the roof and it was a two story they also had to bring it up to code
They do great work, and have good people working for them and the best part is they clean up all the debris.

Buildstar is License, bonded and A+ rated by the Better Business Bureau. Their quote came in lower than others but that is not why I chose to do business with Buildstar. Chad and his team are personable from the moment you meet them! They hear what you need done, talk out your concerns and have the expertise to explain the right way to help you achieve what you want done. This company does everything from major corporate building, residential and complete restoration. They were in the middle of completing major government job in another city, but still followed up to ensure the job was done timely & correctly. That is unheard of in this industry! After an excellent roof repair, I only needed 1 call for gutter replacement on what was a complex drainage situation. Now that I have found a reputable and trustworthy business, they are helping get all my overdue jobs complete! The icing on the cake is getting to support a locally owned and operated business.

My husband and I contracted with Build Star Roofing and Construction for a major exterior renovation and several smaller projects at our residence.

Chad Sampson with Build Star Roofing and Construction literally rebuilt the entire outside of our tired looking 1960's home.
He replaced ALL the exterior wood, painted the exterior of the house and two out buildings. He put on a new roof, shutters, light fixtures, doors and guttering on the house. It looked like a new house when they were finished.

I have also used Blue Star Roofing and Construction to paint the interior of my house (walls, ceiling and trim). I have used them for lawn care/landscaping. Chad has always been very responsive to my needs and provided much needed guidance along the way.

They all worked together in amazing tandem and unity. At the end of each day, all crews cleaned their work space and let us know they were leaving and when they would return the following day. Every aspect of working with Chad and the crews he sent to conduct the various work on our house was excellent and professional. Working with Chad was a pleasure. The painters went up and beyond expectations. The roofing crew worked diligently and stayed on the job as long as they had daylight. I own 58 rental houses in the OKC area and after using them for the first time they will be my first call in the future. Quick to respond, did exactly what they said they would do and cleaned up the work site just the way it was before the project.

After observing company pickup north bound on I35 drive reckless. Speeds faster than 10 mph. Flipping safer drivers off. Trying to push other vehicles out of their way. Most favorable reviews are from. Over year ago. Based on this employees or owners driving I can't imagine they respect building codes any better than speed limits or customer safety.

Build Star replaced roofs on 6 houses on our short street after the recent hail storm in Norman. Randy was the supervisor over the siding, roofing, painting and gutter crews. All of the crews were very professional and fast. Randy lined up each successive crew to immediately follow when it was their time to begin work. I was really impressed with how hard they all worked and every crew cleaned up the entire yard and driveway at the end of each day! Randy kept in touch with me and the crews several times every day and explained what each crew would be doing and why. Great job, Randy and Build Star! I recently used Build Star after the terrible Norman Hailmagedon. Michael at Build Star made our dreams come true. He really went above and beyond to make this process as seamless as can be. Fantastic and professional from start to finish. I texted at 11pm during “The Norman Hail Storm” and they were out there to tarp our busted skylight at 7am, 8 hours later. They worked with us on our deductible and the “extras” that we wanted, and we couldn’t be happier with our updated house. Highest recommendation!

The hailstorm that hit Norman April 28 was nasty -- the 3 inch spikey kind -- and the next morning Build Star was out assessing damage and helping close gaps in broken windows and skylights. A neighbor had called Chad because about 5-6 years ago Build Star had repaired many houses on our block from a previous storm. That evening coming home from work, I think I counted 14 of their signs on just two of our neighborhood streets.

Our field contractor was Aaron who worked with us each step of the way, from assessing damage, selecting products, working with the insurance company, keeping us in compliance with city codes, and arranging sub contractors for guttering, storm doors, and painting. He helped us to maximize our insurance dollars to get a quality, code compliant product.

I think he said he had about 25 other houses here, but he always made us feel he was just working just for us (even though the man must get 200 phone calls a day). The crews he arranged were professional and courteous and always did a good job cleaning up. That first day they got here a little after 6 am and didn't leave until 9:45 -- our solar patio lights came on that evening before they left. Granted, all that hammering seemed to fray the last nerve our kitty cat had, but they were thankfully done after that second day!

One hailstorm like this is plenty, but if we need a roof again, I will call Aaron at Build Star.

We had a large roof leak that needed to be repaired before the next storm. Chad and his team were extremely responsive. You will not find a more stand up business owner than Chad. His crew is so respectful on site and all do an amazing job. Chad stands behind all of his work. There is not a better roofer out there for sure. I always went to Chad first if I had any repairs from roofing, concrete, drywall, painting, even landscape.... his team can do it all. We had extensive interior damage from a roof leak. We selected BuildStar because we watched them renovate a house next door to another house we own. Our project included fabrication of a custom chimney cap, reframing of the chimney, replacement of insulation and sheetrock, painting the ceiling and walls of the entire room, and replacement of ceiling lights.
