Bristol Ace Hardware

Generally, I will give this location a A+. Unfortunately, I went sometime ago and had a couple keys made, and the lady that was trying to make the keys had a lot of issues. When I got home, the keys did not work so I had to return to the store Explained the issue and had new keys made. They were very kind and helpful in remaking the keys. Today I went back to the store to get some more keys made, and the same lady assisted me that had problems with making keys before. Again, she had a lot of problems in operating the machine and identifying a key to be used , She needed to get assistance for both. Thankfully, the lock that I wanted the keys for I had in my vehicle and was able to check them and one of the two keys made worked. The second key would work unless you fumbled with it. Then I found out that they had no more keys , so I ended up walking away with just one key when I really needed two. I asked if either I could have the key or get a discount on it and they refused. In both situations, the same lady tried to make keys had serious issues. She is a very polite, young lady, but working with the key machine may be above her ability or she needs a lot of extra training. I am only responding because I would not want someone else to go through this twice like I have. Thank you for your understanding.

Love the Ace hardware store I'm always going there for everything we need. The staff is some of the best people you can meet! Love y'all works

I arrived yesterday and according to the rude employee Debbie “you have 4 minutes”. She slid the double doors open by hand and greeted me with “You have 4 minutes”. That would have been fine because I knew what I wanted ( one single item right there at the front door, a newspaper) I grabbed the paper as I entered and stood there for about three minutes listening to her chit chat and complain to the lady customer in front of me until I set the paper down and walked out. Finally the customer exited and I walked back towards the store to try again and said you are taking ten times or more the amount of time it would have taken me to pay. I requested a manager and was told no one was available. I didn’t see any other employees inside or outside. Debbie was very hateful and rude. She was complaining to the customer in front of me about being short staffed. It’s not the customers fault you are short staffed. I actually applied and interviewed awhile back here and wasn’t given the job while the owner sat in his chair spitting his tobacco juice. And I have plenty of experience oh well that’s there issue or possibly part of the problem. Apparently the employees have observed the owners talking badly to customers and now believe they can too. Ace Hardware doesn’t pay my bills and I can shop somewhere I am appreciated as a customer. Why were the doors closed before 6 pm? I don’t intentionally go into businesses right at closing to make employees stay late and chit chat and “shop”.

I continue to get great service here, each time I visit. This is not the hardware store nearest me there's several much closer, but this Ace sells more items, than those nearer to my residence and even though many faces have changed they're always friendly. That's what I like service with a smile.

This store is absolutely the best ever, the staff is unbelievably helpful and usually long term employees, honest, fair, and friendly is how I would describe Ace hardware of Bristol FL.

Staff is friendly and SUPER helpful! Excellent customer service. Right when you walk in you're asked if they can help you find anything everytime I been here. Love this Ace!

Very helpful sales and management folks. Competitive prices for most everything. Serves the community very well. They were among the heroes during Hurricane Michael.

Their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable employees helped my daughter pick paint for her room and furniture. They’re even open on a Sunday afternoon. I’ll gladly drive the 24 miles to this store next time I need to hit up a hardware store and have time.

Always friendly and in stock! (More than I can say for the other retailers in the area), the person in charge of stocking their inventory definitely knows what they're doing. The staff is always friendly and helpful, as well. The only local business I like to spend my hard earned money at.

They have Dixie Bell paint and so much more said to pick from if your needing a gift for someone or if you just need something to fix something with they got it

I run the trains for Veterans Memorial Railroad and do a lot of handyman work for them, this is a great place to stop for quick fix-it items. Bought myself a Dewalt tool while I was there, it was on a great sale!

They're incredibly sweet! We're in there regularly, we live in an old house and thinks break all the time. But we can count on them to always helpf us find ways to fix it!

It's a great store to shop, very helpful staff, very clean and organized store. Find just about anything you need or want.

This place has everything you can think of and some things you've probably never thought of. The store is very organized and the staff are very knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly

I went by to purchase something I had needed for awhile, but kept forgetting.
That should tell you right there that this is not the most important item on the world market.
What I bought today for 22.00
would have cost 6.99 last year!
To my dismay, Ace only had chain fan pulls/light pulls in packets of one set(3 foot chain with a decorated pull attached ).
I looked in Amazon and a whole roll or chain, plus the end snaps weren't but $7.50
Ace is however....the only game in town.

Forget Lowes and home depot, this place made me feel like a valued customer. The organization setup was only out classed by their customer service. I wish my honey do list was 100x bigger so I could make more trips to this Ace Hardware location.

I would give you 4 or 5 starts but the cashier was rude and wouldn't help us with the rewards program and signing up. She rudely asked "are you comingback??" Well yes, my mom lives here. She probably won't be back now but used to go frequently. The gal helping us in the store with items was very nice however.

Very pleasant group to trade with very close to home and prices are about the same as they are at all of the stores like this nowadays I was just there today and got my concrete I needed and other things as well in and out with no problems and plenty of smiles and respect I recommend this place to anyone in the area and needs items from the hardware store
