Boland Chevrolet had our '21 Tahoe for 13 weeks as it waited on supposedly backordered part with no ETA. They gave us the option to replace the transmission but told us the transmission was also backordered with no ETA. We made the decision to sell our vehicle to the dealership and less than a couple days after the sale was finalized, not only was the transmission ordered, but the part (according to the service manager) "just showed up". I would not recommend this dealership for purchases or service after our experience.

I had a great experience at Boland Chevrolet. I ordered a new 2025 3500HD and love the truck. My salesman Cody is the biggest reason for the 5 star rating. Out of several dealerships that were slightly closer and bigger, Cody stuck out to me with his communication and thoughtfulness. Even as the build took a few months to get here, Cody stayed in contact and kept me updated as things progressed. That communication was lacking at the other dealerships I had visited. Let me start this review by saying I know buying a used vehicle is alway a risk but we buy from a dealership like this to avoid what I have gone through right?
Last fall I bought a 2015 Chevy Silverado.
On the initial test drive on acceleration it ran funny and the check engine light came on. It seemed like a simple tune up so made a deal with the dealership to have them fix it and deliver to my place.
I traded in a very nice duramax that had light hail they deducted quite a bit off the price (understandably) but what they didn’t tell me and was that on every panel of the truck I bought the clear coat was coming off I didn’t see this as it was raining outside and the water made the paint all look the same.
Also the way they “fixed” the miss was 1 spark plug 1 plug wire and 1 coil pack. I made it clear that the weekend after I bought the truck I had to drive to Colorado and back in it.
Well 350 miles down the road the truck started running really bad and come to find out the new spark plug they put in wasn’t even the same part number as the rest of them and besides who puts one spark plug in…absolutely horrible. Once I got that fixed on the side of the road and made it home I found the rear brakes were were shot. I thought they inspected vehicles before they sold them???
I took the truck in to a very reputable local shop for a full drivetrain service and they found someone had added engine oil to the transmission…again I thought they inspected vehicle ls before selling them???
And now about 5,000 miles after buying the truck it needs all new camshaft
I have put almost $10,000 in this truck it is maddening to think they would charge top dollar for this thing to need so much money in repairs.
Or yeah I never even got a bill of sale, loan agreement or anything mailed to me.
I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership.
What a joke on the service department’s part and really you are going to ding me on light hail damage and not discount a truck with paint issues…of course I would have noticed the paint issues if it hadn’t been raining so that sucks for me.

I have heard that they have really good service here. But there is a sales lady there that preyed on my elderly parents while they were getting their vehicle serviced. She got over $30,000 out of them by talking my dad into buying a vehicle, whenever they are at the point in their life they should not even be driving. She tried to force my mom into a vehicle to try it out whenever she didn't want to. When she told her she couldn't do it the lady told her that she wasn't even trying. My mom can hardly walk.
On top of buying the vehicle they talked to my dad into buying a service plan that was over $3,000 and also paying over $1,000 for a coating to keep Dirt Off.

I thought that was pretty dirty!

Cheryl was the only sales person that came out to talk to me when I was looking for a vehicle.she was very friendly.
