Brock of Blue Ribbon Construction just completed a master bath remodel for me. And from my perspective, it couldn't have gone more smoothly! It was mostly a solo project for him. He was at my door at 9:00 on the dot every day until the project was finished. I had complete confidence in him, he was easy to work with and I'm thrilled with the outcome! I particularly appreciate that he takes one job at a time. There were no idle days to leave you feeling frustrated or out of the loop. I knew he was focused on my project and he always had a wonderful positive attitude. I even booked another project before he left for the last time. Brock helped us trim up our island, put in new sink/ countertops and backsplash, built a new stair bannister, and added a new door/frame on our garage. He was on site everyday early and got to work. He did a wonderful job helping us improve our house. Affordable and dependable. Recommend!

We did a complete remodel of our main floor. Which included kitchen, hearth room, living room, 3 bedrooms, master and guest bathroom and laundry room. What a transformation! Brock did a great job on multiple projects around our house - deck extension, wet bar, full bathroom remodel down to the studs. We were looking for an owner/operator contractor where we knew we were working directly with and paying the person doing the work - not a lot of subs. Brock fit this perfectly.

If you know exactly what you want to achieve, he is great at taking your ideas and being able to articulate the good things and the challenges in your idea, and come up with a workable solution. I highly recommend him if you like sourcing most of your own materials for the project and coming up with your own designs/plans.

If you would prefer to pay the high overheads to have a project manager involved in a remodel (someone not doing the work, but tracking/paying attention to the details), Brock is probably not your guy, but be prepared to pay a lot more as well for that level of service.There were some details along the way that felt like they got missed and created a bit of a scramble at times, but nothing that altered the outcome or timeline and worth it to have this quality of work.

He shows up on time every day, is respectful of your home/family, and hits his timelines.

Blue Ribbon Construction built a beautiful outdoor pavilion in our backyard on a concrete slab. The pavilion was built with cedar wood and was complete with a composite shingle roof to match our house. A lot of effort was put into the details of the construction. Brock showed up when he said he would and cleaned up nicely at the end of each day. He returned all calls timely and was very kind and easy to work with.

We received a couple of bids on a small renovation project to remove a closet, open up the enclosed stairwell to the basement and put replace our kitchen countertops and backsplash. We chose Blue Ribbon Construction based on Brock’s professionalism and detailed explanation of what the job would entail, how long the job would take and how much it would cost. Brock let us know what time he would be there and how long the project would take. He knocked the project out and it turned out better than expected. He stayed right on budget and right on time. I would highly recommend using Blue Ribbon Construction to anyone.
UPDATE: we have had several people over since Brock finished the remodel and everyone commented on the quality of workmanship on opening up our staircase and the opening between our family room and living room. More then a few asked for Brock’s company contact information. I not only gave them his information, but enthusiastically gave the highest recommendation I could. I will never lose Brock’s number and will absolutely use him for future projects.

Brock gutted my 1954 kitchen and brought it to life! He turned it into a masterpiece and now it feels like I live on a golf course. I couldn't be happier, it came out exactly as I envisioned. Thank you!

I'm sure this company does good work, based upon the few reviews I have read. I called them last week because I needed some work completed on my rental property. The company does not provide the services I need. That is not the issue. Brock let me know that they don't so the type of work I needed, which again, is fine. He did not stop at that. He proceeded to let me know that they do complete remodels. (I thought oh great! I can call when I'm ready to remodel the 3 bathrooms and kitchen in my property). But what he said next is what turned me off. He said they do complete remodels on 300- and 400- thousand dollar homes. Implying (in my opinion) that if my home was not valued at that amount, they wouldn't be able to help me. I wrote the review, because it bothered me (a week later) that a company would say that. Thanks, but no thanks to a company that discriminates against people financially. I understand they may be a high end company, I just didn't like the disclaimer he threw in there...300 or 400 thousand.... I do own a property valued at that much, just not in Wichita. So do they service out of state?!

Update (7/14/19): I am updating my review due to the fact the Brock, personally, reached out to me. It took him some time to locate my number in his records. I appreciate him speaking with me, and taking time out to follow up with me. He explained everything about his company to me. What I admired and respected about Brock, is that he did not make up excuses for what was said. He didn't blame me for how I felt. He was understanding, apologetic, and truly sincere. I believe that he was genuine and truly cares about his company and people (clients or not). He was/is willing to do whatever it takes to make this situation right. He is a humble person, from humble beginnings. I can respect that. I will give him an opportunity to earn my business in the future. Sometimes it's not what we say, but how we say it, and vise versa. In this case it was a bit of both. But, I am truly grateful that he took the time to look me up, and give me a call. A negative review doesn't necessarily turn me away from a company. Thank you Mr. Brock for reaching out to me. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family.

Another Update (7/24/2019): Let me tell you, Brock is a man of his word. I called him due to an unfortunate mishap with my property. He immediately responded to a request that I asked of him. He was quick to respond. He assessed my situation on a short notice. He immediately got back to me. Any person that would go through the trouble of finding me, and then go out of his way to help, is someone that truly cares about his business and people. I do respect Brock greatly for honoring his word. He is truly a man of integrity. When I am back home in Wichita, I look forward to meeting him, and shaking his hand! May God continue to bless you, your family, and your business. I am forever grateful. For all those needing or wanting to remodel or make major improvements to tour home, this is your guy. I had purchased an older home and was limited on options. Brock showed me knowledge is power! My Daughter loves her new room with the biggest closet she's ever seen. My wife and I could not have chosen a better business for our remodel project. Brock is first and foremost, a professional! He has been in the construction industry for many years and has a wealth of knowledge that is invaluable! We hired him to do a complete remodel on our kitchen which included taking a wall out opening up our main level kitchen and living room. He did all the demo and installed a new island and permiter cabinets, and all of the necessary plumbing work. He also installed a wet bar in our lower level which included cabinets, countertop, plumbing, and backsplash. We could not be happier with our finished product. If you’re doing any kind of substantial home project Brock is your guy!

Brock did a great job on our home remodel which included a back room pantry, washer and dryer nook, closet stub in, and shower install in the 1/2 bath. He made sure everything was done to his very high standards. Brock is so set on keeping his customers happy, he's agreed to come out and set our pantry door and cabinet that was on back order. Highly recommended!

We used Brock's Blue Ribbon company for a structural rework to open up our residential kitchen. This involved removal of a structural wall with necessary work on the levels above and below the kitchen as well. Our project was completed within a competitive budget, on time, and without problems or surprises. From the start, communication was excellent and Brock happily worked with us to make any adjustments to the initial plan to fit our liking. All workmanship was of high satisfaction. Special care was taken to let us see key points of progress along the way for full transparency of the progress and workmanship. Each evening we came home to construction mess cleaned up to make the area as livable as possible during the construction. We will recommend Blue Ribbon without hesitation and give him a call for the next projects.

Best contractor in Wichita! Our master bedroom exterior wall was completely blackened and moldy. Brock was quick to respond and bid very reasonably. Job was scheduled and finished in a timely manner and kept open communication the entire process. We will definitely look towards Blue Ribbon for future projects!

I had a low end project of remodeling kitchen using existing cabinets. Blue Ribbon took care of my project or got sub contractors to complete what they could not. Electrical sub was great but was not sold on plummer that came out from a mjr company. May want to track this plummers work on future projects to see if fluke or not. Brock did verify that issues were and are being resolved.

Brock and his son showed up everyday on time even working around my schedule on one instance. Communication was excellent.

We just completed a major remodel on our house and thanks to Brock Patterson it was completed in just a few weeks. He was very punctual and showed up every day until the project was done. He worked with us on making many decisions and it turned out beautiful. We would definately use him again on future projects.
