Black Pines did a major remodel for us, replacing windows, siding, a new metal roof, and painting. Their work was first-rate, all done well, with all the contractors keeping things clean and working around us. There were some delays from material suppliers and weather, but Jeff kept us up to date on schedule issues. Minor problems popped up and were handled quickly and well. We always felt informed and in-charge; our satisfaction was paramount. The final price came in as originally promised, with minor changes for our additions. We highly recommend Black Pines for being easy to work with and doing a great job.

He is meticulous with every detail, providing exceptional finish quality. After recently completing a 4 month renovation that included a full kitchen, pantry, laundry, hardwood floor and front door overhaul, he finished on time and on budget - even during a global pandemic. We have had two wonderfully successful renovations with Black Pines Builders; the first inside redoing and expanding the kitchen, living room, and basement, and the second this last year adding a sun room and new deck. We were so happy with how the first renovation went that we didn't hesitate to call them for the second. We have appreciated their vision, flexibility, and professionalism. We've been particularly impressed with the quality of the subcontractors they work with; everything from plumbing to electrical to painting to woodwork has been excellently executed. They were always clear on project costs and changes, and kept us well aware of timing and arrival of subcontractors for work. Undoubtedly our favorite Boulder County housing contractors.

I completely built out my basement using Black Pine Builders. Working with Jeff was easy from start to finish. He helped me with my basement design and answered every question I had throughout the entire process. All of the crews who worked on the project were punctual, professional, and did excellent quality work. I’m thrilled with the results!

We wanted to get a finished basement for our recently bought house. I started looking on the internet and saw several very good reviews for Jeff and his team. I was a little skeptical but decided to give it a try. It definitely was a very good decision. Already at the first meeting with Jeff we were very impressed with him. He looked at the basement, we told him approximately what we wanted for our basement and less than an hour later he already showed us a professionally looking floor plan with several suggestions as to what should be done. The basement was finished on time and the result is well beyond what we had expected or even imagined. There were no unpleasant surprises and Jeff kept us updated throughout the process (we could not be at the house most of the time during the construction). Jeff also pointed out some minor issues with the house unrelated to the basement and offered to help us with that as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Jeff and his team to anyone.

Jeff and his guys did an amazing job finishing out our basement. Black Pines was the only contractor who took time to listen to what we wanted, drew up a layout, and even adjusted the layout halfway through construction to meet our requests. Beyond that, the craftsmanship was solid and met or exceeded our standards and Jeff finished the job ahead of schedule. We would use Jeff and Black Pines Builders again in a heartbeat!

Amazing job finishing my basement. Everything was on the schedule laid out and at the cost in the estimate. The value for the price was incredible. I couldn't be happier with the results. The staff was professional to a T. Not one issue. I got nit-picky on one little thing after the work was done and the owner was at my house and made me happy instantly.
