Black Gold Inc

Thank you for reviewing my review. I am actually still waiting for someone to get back with us on adding some insulation above the garage. An associate came out shortly after the build and we noticed some spots where you could see the sheet rock between the trusses and they were going to get back with me on getting this corrected. I know everyone is extremely busy but if we could get this completed, that would be great. You should have my information on file. Thank you again.

- I called in ~June 2020 and waited a week or so for Denny to come out to my house for a look at blown insulation. I was given a very rough estimate and told there was no way to know when it would get done because it was a small job. Shouldn't be THAT long though. I reached back out at the end of August (~8 weeks later) when I hadn't heard anything and was told they lost my file and would need to come out again to check. A couple days later I got a text stating that they found my file but, "you are on the list of attics but still can't give you a definite date for the installation. I will let you know when. My apologies."
- Got a call late Thursday 10/8/2020 that they could show up the next day. I messed around to be available because who knew when it would be if I missed it? Dominic (who was great!) showed up and I told him about how long I'd been waiting and he said, "that's weird, we have been going home at like 3-330 when we're done with the bigger jobs we're doing. No reason we can't be coming out to get something like this done." To top that off, the truck's blower was broken, so they waited around for about and hour to see if someone could fix it then rolled up and out saying that we'd need to reschedule.
- 10/28/2020 I send a text saying, "It's been 3 weeks since your truck broke down here and I haven't heard back from you. This is getting ridiculous." The response (I kid you not): "Yes I agree it is ridiculous. I am not able to give you a date. I apologise. If you can find another company to install, I would."

There you have it. From their own mouths: "If you can find another company to install, I would."

Guess what though? Their billing department is on it and I got my invoice within 2 days.

We called and had them come in February and give us an estimate for blown insulation above our garage. We were give an estimate and told it would be 8 weeks before they could do it. We called 9 weeks later to find out when they would be coming out to do it. We were then told they could not do the job, because it is too small of a job, after we waited over 8 weeks. He should have told us this when he came to look at our garage and not strung us along and wasted 2 months. Very un professional, I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Bill's crew gets the job done great people to work with I've done business with them for 20 plus years I would recommend them to anyone Black Gold it's for you

Black Gold Inc. really takes pride in their work, very detail oriented, and their customer service is excellent. They cleaned up after themselves and left the job site cleaner then when when they got there.

Ugh... Wish I could give Black Gold Insulation a good review, but two days of no call / no showing has me frustrated. Yesterday was a given since it was raining, but I should have been called today - or so I thought... When I called them I found out that they took us off the calendar completely in lieu of other jobs. They certainly should have called about that within a few hours of that decision being made... last week.

At least they haven't taken any of our money yet.
