I received a new roof and they responed very quick. Work has been great and roof looks great. From the time I contacted them to the time the roof was completed was less than a week. I was in daily or every other day contact from the beginning. My roof was an insurance claim and they did the roof for what the insurance gave. Only had to pay for the extra I requested outside of insurance claim.

We had a great experience with Kangaroof! Our contractor, Jodi Carpenter, was incredibly helpful, communicated well and in a timely manner, and was very knowledgeable when it came to dealing with the insurance company. The process was so smooth and stress free thanks to Jodi! We will definitely be using Kanagroof and Jodi again for any roofing needs!!

Big Rock KangaRoof was amazing! Jodi Carpenter was so easy to work with! She was timely, followed up, and followed through with everything she said she would do! The crew was timely and cleaned up after themselves. They left the property in great shape! I highly recommend them!

Horrible company. They tell you one thing and then do another. Their guy Toby says they will be at your property to do work and then they never show up and when you call them they just give you a million excuses but never take accountability. The owner Todd will call you to whine and cry about how hard it is to run his business but never gives you his solution on how to fix the problem his employees have created. If you can find someone else to do repair work or roofing work i highly suggest anyone besides Kangaroof!

i called Kangaroo when we needed a roof replacement as they had done our neighbors roof and they were very happy with them from our first contact with Shawn and throughout the process to the finished product we couldn’t gave been happier i’m not sure five stars is enough, but that’s all i could give!

From the initial appointment to the final install, they were quick, yet thorough. Unfortunately when the old shingles were removed, they discovered some issues that increased the final cost more, but they did what was necessary to give me the best roof possible for the money. There were no unnecessary upcharges. In fact, when I asked questions, they would tell me certain things that were not worth the money or that would not improve the quality of the roof and that's what I appreciate the most from a contractor.

I’m giving this review 1 star only because I can’t give it zero stars. This has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with and I’ve dealt with quite a few. Toby Blank is absolutely useless. He missed appointments twice just for the estimate. It took my wife leaving a bad review to finally get him out here. Then when we had got a day set to start work we got some rainy weather which is not their fault but the story Toby kept giving us was the next fully dry day they would be here, only for that day to arrive and they were nowhere to be found. Then when my wife had to text him, Toby informed her it would be the next day because one of the other employees got sick. I guess it didn’t occur to them to call and let us know the situation which would have been fine. Maybe they feel it’s better just to not show up instead. I make a phone call to the owner Mr. Upton to be told that if we can wait until next week they will get out here and do a great job for us. He seemed sincere and was apologetic so I figured I’d cut them a break. Well, that was a mistake. The whole week had come and gone and not only did they never show up, they didn’t bother to even call!(Shocker) When I text Toby about as to why I never seen or heard from them he gave me the hee haw excuse I was expecting of “we thought you were gonna call us if you still wanted us to come out”. I did state to the owner that they need to contact me to let me know when they were coming out and if I hadn’t already found someone else to do the job they could come do it. I never once said I would call and let them know anything. My gut feeling is that my project is a small one for not a lot of money and so because of that it is low in priority to them. What they don’t know is that me and my wife have decided to sell our house so after this small project is done we are looking to replace the roof (mainly just for inspection purposes) AND my mom and sister are also about to start looking around for a roofer to replace both of their roofs due to hail damage. In closing, I would never recommend this company to anyone and as a matter of fact if I hear anyone mention needing a roofer I will make it a point to discourage them from using this company. If you have to deal with Toby Blank it will be a disaster filled with excuses. Save yourself some frustration and get someone more reputable and trustworthy. UPDATE: I also left a bad review on their Facebook page and they blocked me in order to keep a bad review off of their page.

I wanted to thank Jonathan for his fantastic customer service during our project. Whenever information needed to be conveyed, he was right on it; from weather impact to supply retreaval. Jonathan did a great job of managing our expectations and having us feel confident about the work. Great experience and an even better attitude. I’m not that pleasant and I’ve not been climbing around on a hot roof. KangaRoof, it looks like you have a good one.

Zack has been a awesome contractor through the whole process from dealing with insurance from day one after being denied multiple times by Allstate he was finally able to get them to pay for my roof great guy and great company highly recommend to anyone

Jonathan did an excellent job coming to my house and taking care of me and my needs. He went on the roof and told me exactly what I needed but even more than that he found an area in my attic where my air conditioning pipe was leaking, which was causing the major problem. Jonathan went above and beyond to take care of me. From the first time that we met to the next time I had been in the hospital for a week he was so kind and caring asking if I was OK. It’s hard to find good companies that have excellent workers who go out of their way to make sure that your needs are met. I will recommend their services to anyone and Jonathan will forever be a lifelong friend for his kindness and caring!! Great company. Great employees. Great service.

The Crew at Big Rock KangaROOF just completed some very difficult and extensive repairs on our 100-year-old craftsman-style home in Hillcrest. The job required some intricate woodwork, which was matched perfectly, and looks natural and beautiful. We're very pleased with the outcome. Jonathan did a great job communicating with us throughout the process, and we feel the price was very fair. My experience is they're an honest company, and the owner cares about making sure the customer is taken care of, satisfied and happy with the work being done.

Big Rock Kangaroof's sales manager is THE BEST EVER to work with. Legendary, I say. The 8-person crew who replaced our house and shop roofing also did excellent work and was pleasant to work with. They took the greatest care of my property and did a superb job of cleanup after completion. I give Kangaroof at least 6 stars on a 5-star scale. GL.

It’s hard for me to get excited about a roof. It’s necessary. I don’t want to have leaks coming into the house. And I certainly want to know that it’s going to last for a while.

Thankfully, Big Rock KangaRoof made the entire experience a lot less painful than I had feared. Jodi was a pleasure to work with and did a great job of making me feel valued as a customer.

As for the crew doing the work, they were very professional, did a great job of cleaning up after the fact, and in the end I have to admit the roof does look a whole lot better than what was on there.

Had a lot of hail damage due to a storm and I’m in the process of having a new roof and siding redone. The roof is complete and looks great. Zack has been very helpful in explaining everything that will be done and also explains the insurance process which I know nothing about. He has kept me apprised of everything that is going on and when it will be worked on. Very good communication from Zack and his team. Thank you!

We recently had storm damage and needed a new roof. This is our first owned home and I was not sure how to even begin. Zach with Big Rock KangaRoof walked us through the whole process. He made a stressful situation go so smoothly. They finished the work quickly and we are covered again. I would recommend Zach to anyone.

Aaron Lyman is our favorite roofer. We own a roofing company in Colorado and Aaron is our go to person for when it comes to taking care of our rentals in Arkansas. He will get your roof bought! He is always on time, has a great a relationship with the adjusters. Which is key if you want your roof approved. He recently replaced 6 homes for us and we just gave him 2 more roofs. Just a wonderful experience all around. Ask for him on your next roof!

My roof was damaged in tornado. Alex showed up at my home a few days later and made a stressful situation so much better. I am very pleased with my new roof and I appreciate the kindness Alex showed me and how he followed up until the work was completed. I highly recommend Alex and Big Rock Kangaroof.

Big Rock KangaRoof replaced our roof. They were there when they said they would be and immediately addressed any concerns we had. Would highly recommend.

I wouldn’t hire these guys ever again. Jason Bintliff was our “project manager”. Jason was a salesman and a collector, not a project manager. They do not keep documentation on the project, provide any schedules or timelines, and try to bully you into paying more than what was agreed.

Every time one of their subcontractors came to our house, we were made aware from our doorbell camera. Asking for a schedule or anticipated timeframe for arrival is considered micromanaging according to Jason.

They will ask you for your insurance deductible even though you have already paid it to your insurance company. They do not follow through with the signed contract. Jason never came out to review any work. Their “Quality Control Inspections” are nonexistent. They leave debris in your yard.

If you ask for a site visit they will tell you that they can’t accommodate because they are too busy even though their office is 10 minutes away. If you keep insisting they complete their side of the contract, they (especially Jason) will try to bully you and threaten you with collections.

You will have to ask for an invoice multiple times. They do not know what work is completed because they don’t check on their job sites.

Jason and Big Rock Kangaroof prey on the families that are vulnerable after natural disasters.

If you do work with them, document everything as they will scam you if you don’t.

Check with the licensing board before hiring any contractors to see if there are any complaints against them.

UPDATE: Received a phone call from Todd Upton (the owner) trying to understand why I gave them a 1-star review. I explained why, and then I told him that I have received a Final Paid-In-Full Invoice. He then said "I would hate to have to put a lien on your house". Threats are not a good practice in customer service.

Sales personnel were friendly and knowledgeable. I believe what impressed me most was the speed and efficiency with which John walked me thru the job. It was just as John said it would be. No hidden fees. Just the cost he said. That is refreshing these days.

Big Rock Kangaroof and Jason Bintliff were wonderful to work with. We received what we hoped for and more! Couldn’t be happier with the company, their representatives and their products.

Quick response and repairs to work on damage to home to roof and siding from hail. My representative was Zack. He did a very good job giving me information like costs, timing, etc. We had a few bumps and he managed them effectively and professionally.

Recently Big Rock KangaRoof replaced the roof on a rent house we have. I cannot say enough good things about them and our project manager Jason Bintliff. The job was completed in a day and looks great. He worked with us and our insurance company to get the job done correctly. He provided us with regular updates along the way and pictures throughout the installation. This company is the best!

We just had our roof and siding done with these guys. This is our 2nd time working with them. Zach was our point of contact and was very helpful, professional, and always responsive! Great service and experience!

We have used them twice for roofing and each time they have been very attentive. Zackary did a great job keeping us up to speed with the process and we will use them any time we need work done to our exterior.

After storms destroyed my roof and siding and porch. I called kanga roof and talked to Zach. I must say he did an awesome job dealing with my insurance company and my house. We had storm damage to our roof Apr 2023. We just received the certificate of completion 10/3/23 to sign to release final payment for our insurance. My main complaint is with the Salesman (Shawn). In the beginning of the claim, we had to constantly reach out to him for updates, several occasions I had to text him more than once to get a reply from him. I finally called the office & spoke with Jodi (who is very nice) & she talked with him & he got a little better with communication. It took awhile for them to get started on roof because my insurance couldn't get the proper pictures & paperwork needed. Shawn kept saying he sent them but insurance never got them. I just assumed it was a technical issue with the system (computers have issues). We paid the deposit for them to start roof & it was done in a timely manner. We had to wait an additional couple of weeks for the gutter repairs. I would get multiple texts & I also got a call about the final payment. I replied to the text & advised insurance needs the certificate of completion before this payment will be sent. Spoke with Shawn many times & he "claimed" this was sent. Spoke with insurance & they never received it. Insur received other paperwork but not this. There were many text & emails sent between myself, Shawn & Allstate. I stayed on top of this trying to get the proper paperwork. This past weekend we noticed that the gutter wasn't repaired very well, they left an opening on the gutter where debri could get in & stop up the gutter. Texted Shawn about this & thats when things went real south. Earlier that same day my insurance called me & said they still had not received the certificate of completion but he was going to make an exception to their policy & go ahead with the final payment. I let Shawn know payment was on its way to us (via an exception) & once the gutter issue was corrected we would pay the balance. He then proceeds to say you are past due & need to pay the bill by the latest tomorrow. Well, I said "How can I be past due when you have not sent the proper paperwork for payment"? This is when he became VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & I was appalled that someone in the service industry would talk to a customer like this. His text became rude & I was just in shock. It got to a point where I told him the conversation between him & I were done. He replied with a "Wow", I told him how unprofessional he was then he tried flipping all of this around on me saying I came at him, yadda yadda yadda......I told him again this conversation is over & I will reach out to Jodi in the am. He said if thats what you feel you need to do for satisfaction then go ahead but she works in the office not the field. He then changes his attitude some & I said funny how your attitude changes when I mention Jodi. He said he wasn't threatened by Jodi he just misread my messages. At this point I blocked him phone numbe, enough is enough. I copied all text & sent to Jodi immediately (it was after hours but she had given me her cell previously). I didn't expect her to reply right away because it was outside of business hours but she did. She apologized & said "oh wow, that's unprofessional & so unnecessary, please accept my apologies", she also stated she was so embarrassed & this should have never happened between a salesman & customer. She called me the next afternoon & said she would get someone out the next day on the gutter repair (which they did), she also informed me that she looked in the system & Shawn never sent the certificate of completion (he said he did 3 times). She again apologized for how Shawn acted & said he had some personal issues going on & let that get in the way of his professional work. She said that was no excuse & she has talked with him. I told her we would send payment when all work was done & sign the paperwork. I also informed her that this company was recommended by my mother but I wont recommend a company that lets an employee like this work there.

We used Big Rock KangaROOF to replace our roof after suffering some hail damage. We were in the reprocess of selling our home so we had a short timeframe and they came out within a week of contacting them to replace it. They did a wonderful job and got it done within a day! Jodi was our sales rep and was so helpful and knowledgeable. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

Zack has been responsive and prompt, even going out of his way to meet with the insurance adjuster early on a Sunday. Our roof was replaced yesterday. The crew did an excellent job, leaving behind zero mess. Our roof looks better than new!

Kyle Shelby came out the day we called for an inspection after a hail storm. He worked with us to get our insurance claim started and walked us through all the steps. His roofers did a great job, got it done quickly and cleaned up well after they were done. We couldn’t be more pleased with the way the job has gone.

Kyle came out and walked me through the process for filing a claim with the insurance company. When the guys came out to do the roof, I was AMAZED at how fast and efficiently they worked!! When they left, you could not tell anyone had been here, as they were very careful to clean up all debris. Would definitely do business with them again!

From start to finish I have been nothing but impressed. Zack has been amazing to work with. He handled my insurance company and kept me updated through the whole process. He's gone above and beyond in making this as easy for me as possible and I greatly appreciate that! I know there was a lady in the office also assisting, I do not remember her name, but a big thanks to her too. The installation crew did a great job, and cleaned up everything before the left. I went through Angi’s List and out of five quotes requested, Big Rock Kangaroof was the only company that contacted me and gave me a quote. I guess people don’t want to work anymore. However, Jodi, Jay and the crew at Big Rock were very responsive. They gave me a fair price and did excellent work in quick fashion. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Excellent company; the guys did a fantastic job cleaning up afterward. They went the extra mile; they painted my roof vents to match the charcoal shingles. Very happy with the outcome.

Everything was great with one exception, the roofers were supposed to be at my home on 10/14/2022, but they showed up a day early, requiring me to change plans on the fly, inconveniencing myself and the people I had plans with. I received no notification of the change in times until they knocked on my door. Justin, my contact at BRK was also unaware of the changes. A heads up would have helped considerably.

Josh Downie, who works for Big Rock Kangaroof, let me know that there had been a recent hail storm in the area. He told me what I needed to know and to contact my insurance company. There was indeed damage to my roof and thanks to my insurance, my 16 year old roof got replaced for very little cost out of pocket to me. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. I am very happy with the results!!

KangaRoof and Josh Downing did exactly what they promised and more! The storm-damaged roof was replaced in one day and the cleanup was immaculate. The gutter repair was finished in a couple of hours and looks beautiful! Josh is professional, courteous, friendly and true to his word because we didn't pay until all the work was finished. He worked closely with our insurance to minimize our out of pocket costs. The shingle delivery guy did some damage to our lawn but Josh quickly compensated us and even paid the fee to reinstall our satellite dish! I can't say enough good things about this company and Josh as a person. What a wonderful experience!

My contact was Kevin Garner through entire process! He was absolutely the best to deal with! I highly recommend him and his business!!!

The estimator/ salesman was great. (He's no longer with the company.) Installation was fast. Roof looked great, and then reality started setting in. Nails in neighbors yard, internet cable to the house left dangling in the back yard. They did come out and rehang the cable, a month later. Called back again to let them know I had a few leaks. Said they would be right on it. And then nothing. Never heard from them again. Near as I can tell, there was poor attention to flashing. So if you use them, do research first and supervise the work. Don't be afraid to ask questions. And be VERY cautious. Would not recommend. A large amount of money and regret it. Will have to hire another company to fix my new roof. It's two years old, and I currently have four leaks.
I felt I needed a follow-up. They did eventually come out and check the flashing. Three leaks were repaired. Fourth was not on them. Old window Fram and window ac unit was the culprit. But the suspicion of the flashing was correct. Original crew left the old flashing on the house. A new crew came and replaced all the flashing. Only took a few years, but they did fix the issue.
