Definitely not an ethical contractor so please don’t hire this company. I got insulation work done by this company and they claimed to be an approved energizect contractor and that I would be able to get the insulation rebate of ~$2,000 which turned out to be false. They came and did the insulation work and afterward I found they did a crap job on the rim joist ceiling with many of the bays containing very little insulation, see picture. They didn’t mention anything about this when they asked for payment and probably wouldn’t have said anything if I hadn’t said anything. I called them on it and only then did they come back to do an adequate job. After this they helped with energizect rebate paperwork and acted surprised when energizect wouldn’t complete the rebate. Christian said he would work with energizect to get me the rebate or pay it out of his companies pocket saying “I'm going to continue to work on this but I want you to rest assured that even if the utilities do not give you an incentive on your project for whatever reason which I'm hoping is not the case as a show of good faith I will pay it out of my company to you if it ends up getting to that point. I just want you to rest assured that one way or another I'll hold up on my end of the bargain.” That was the last communication I got from him despite many emails and calls attempting to reach him. So if you want a contractor who will do a good job without you checking all their work and uphold their commitments avoid this company.

They were recommended through Angi for residential snow removal. Signed a contract and paid up front for the season. Also had them do 2 other small house jobs in the summer to see how they worked. All was good until it snowed on 12/16/24 and no one showed up. No call or text, I texted them nothing back. I finally hear from them around 2pm, they’re having trouble with their driver, can’t get in touch him, etc. etc. Bottom line: excuses but no one came to do the snow. Good thing it wasn’t a blizzard. Final text they promised to return my payment, which they did. Thankfully, but what happened to honoring your contract?

They are liars. Claimed to be an approved energize CT contractor and was going to handle reimbursement from energize CT fund from start to finish, to include extend my rebate for reimbursement of $3,000+cost. Nope didn't happen. No return phone calls, owner claimed medical issues, and ghosted me. Now I'm out $3,000. Insulation in exterior walls were not installed to R15 pack as claimed. House is cold. Walls I have insulated personally are warm to touch, walls they supposed filled to R15 are cold from exterior temp. They don't even seal the exterior holes properly to avoid cold air from entering. His wife business partner will give you a story also. They will tell you to look at their reviews ect .. Do yourself a favor and find another company!!

The license plumber did an excellent job replacing everything that was needed and even cleaned up and polished the sink without me asking him to.

We had them insulate or roof where no insulation existed. First they beat the next companies estimates by good and surprising amount. Chris was easy to deal with. They had a cancellation so showed up early, worked hard and smart and got the job done early. All on site people were pleasant and professional. Have zero hesitation in recommending this company.

Did an absolutely amazing job. The workers were on time finished in time very reasonable pricing insulation was perfect five stars for this company if you have insulation you need done I would highly recommend them

Couldn't be happier with the work they did insulating my garage. Of the quotes I had gotten, they were the only ones that wanted to blow the insulation in from the outside (through the plywood after remvoing the vinyl siding). The others wanted to go through the sheet rock. After watching the work they did, going from the outside created much less of a mess as any dust was limited to outide the house, not inside the garage. Any dust they did create was cleaned up when they were done. Once the job was completed, you can't even tell they were there. Going from zero insulattion to having each chamber filled with insulation should make a significance improvment in garage temperature. Since we keep our refridgerator in the garage, this will help control the fridge/freezer temp significantly. I would definitely recommend Best Home Performance for any home improvment work. The crew was very friendly, and answered any questions I had while they were doing the work.

Christian was extremely knowledgeable about how to and why insulation is needed in CT not only to retain heat in the winter but to keep our house cool in these hot summer temps leasening the strain on our central air conditioner system. He was punctual, his crew was professional and friendly attentive to our specific needs. The installation was great as was the clean up. Our job was done on August 14, 2023. Price was right and info on possible tax incentives were given. We highly recommend Best Home Performance LLC.
