I chose Andrew because he was very knowledgeable and provided me with a lot more information about a new roof than the other companies. I am not going to lie, I was extremely shocked this roof got done in one day. I looked out midday and said no way will they finish. The crew did finish, 7 guys on roof and one doing all the cleanup which To the one cleanup guy. He really was amazing!! The outside looked like a war zone in my opinion and he miraculously cleaned up everything impeccably. I love my new roof and am extremely happy with this company. For our medium sized roof, the crew was on site for approximately 8 hours, with hardly a trace of evidence following cleanup. Andrew applies upgraded materials and methods, that I would have easily skimped on, if I tackled the roof myself. I strongly recommend River Valley Roofing.

New roof was installed on time and came out great. Worked with me to install my used skylights. Cleanup was very good. A damaged screen was replaced without any issues.

Long review: as a homeowner who hates the processes of finding the right contractor/professional, I hope this review will help you make your decision.
I contacted Andrew at River Valley Roofing to request an estimate on replacing a gazebo roof and installing gutter guards, on a house in East Hampton, Connecticut. Andrew took my call and he came out for an estimate the next day.
He was on time, very personable and educated me on my options. He then provided an itemized quote by that evening. He was honest and transparent with his pricing, which was very reasonable. What impressed me most was he actually recommended the cheaper option, as prices of certain materials are out of control. The option he suggested provided the same quality and performance but at a lower price tag.
Once I decided to choose River Valley Roofing, Andrew scheduled the job for just 3 days later. He contacted me the night before with a reminder and arrived right on time the day off. The workers got started right away and worked very efficiently. They took great care protecting items and landscaping around the gazebo. The clean up was wonderful. I went out with a magnet after the job to ensure there were no stray nails. I did not find a single.
The quality of work was fantastic. Andrew and his team showed great attention to detail. While it would have been easier to use a nail gun, Andrew felt there was a chance that the nails may show through. Instead, they hand nailed the project with shorter nails.
Andrew sent photos of the work being throughout the day. When the job was complete Andrew did a final inspection with me.
Overall, my experience with River Valley Roofing was excellent. Andrew and his team were professional, detail oriented, transparent, honest and punctual. They provided superb customer service and quality of work.
