Needed a water heater replaced. They came the same day to limit the inconvenience of not having water in my house. Hunter showed up and stayed steadily working and got everything done in 3 1/2 hours. That included running new pipes, clean up, and installation. They were upfront on the hourly rates and gave me worse case scenario for costs, it came well under that due to the efficiency of Hunter.

Scott was very helpful by letting us borrow a tool that we didn’t have and our vendor couldn’t get in a reasonable time for our project. I made a call to Scott and explained what was going on and he was there to help anyway he could. When you have a business willing to help out another business that’s going above and beyond, and that is a 10 star rating. Thank you

Bob, Mike, and the rest of the gang at Bernhard's Plumbing did an excellent job for me getting a new bathroom installed. My job wasn't a high priority, so I got bumped a couple of times because there were problems at other clients. I was a little upset at first, but after thinking about it I was glad they were responsive to those clients that needed more immediate service. I'm sure they would be there right away if I was having a problem. I would recommend them for high quality work.

Never been anything but satisfied with their work. Been with them for 23 years, when Bob Bernhard was part of Baerwald Plumbing. Great guy, great company. Great supporters of their community.

Use extreme caution when using this plumbing company. When ask how much to repair a spare sump pump Switch they won't know until the part comes in... ( I ASKED 3 TIMES ) 1st was when i brought in the pump. 2nd was the Receptionist, the 3rd was when he came to my home. And no one can say 125.00 an hr. Plus parts.
it's VERY HARD for them to say a $125. 00 an hour plus parts. VERY POOR BUSINESSES . THEY CAN'T EVEN BE HONEST. (Parts was $31.00) Whether they fixed it there or in my home.
if they were up front with me I would have taken it somewhere else to be repaired. Or Bought a brand new one for a backup starting at 89.99 on up. plus they had to come back to my home because what they thought they fix... wasn't .. that was also $125.00 An hr to figure out why it still leaks And they didn't have time to do it , and that means they would have to come back...another 125.00 hr plus parts.not once did they say they would knock off the price for not fixing the problem. The plumber just assumed he did fixed the problem , never filled up the bathtub to see what the problem was or to see if that did fixed it. That was done the 2nd time coming back. Filling up the tub And now wants to come back for the third time, Just a scam to get back into your home to charge more.

We just moved to Juneau this past summer and this winter we had a waste line break from the second floor bathroom and it leaked to the first floor bedroom. We own a older farm style house and found the cast iron waste pipe had cracked and needed to be replaced . We called two other companies and both didn't even give us a quote or call backs. We then called Bernhard Plumbing and Bob came out and looked at what we had . Now this is an old plaster wall house and the location of the piping wasn't in a good spot to say the least . Bob and his crew did just an amazing job , not only did they replace all the lines that needed to be replaced for the waste line.They also fixed the rest system that was not up to code. They can in first day and got the basement and bathroom on the first floor done and came back the second day and tackled the second floor issues . They also installed a basement wash tube for us since this house didn't have one and we wanted one . After all the work was completed, they cleaned up everything and we have minimal work to do for walls and ceiling repairs from the water damage when the pipe broke considering the age of this house and the location of the piping . I highly recommend Bernhard Plumbing, they were the only company willing to tackle the job we needed done and it was not a easy one by any means . Bob and his crew got it done. Could not be happier.

They get the job done. Response time was alittle lacking. Since they did say it would be a half hour before he knew who or when someone could help . It was 2 hours before I got anyone over or a call. They are too over priced in my opinion. Charged me double just for one part. 200 dollars for 15 minutes of work.

Provided other work for me on the past Responded the next business day for a non-emergent repair. Two other contractors never called. Repaired issue with in a few hours. Also assessed another possible repair, but informed me it was not necessary. Did not attempt to get business to run up the bill.
