My experience with Ben's Chimney Services of Westchester was as positive as it could have been. They were VERY responsive, timely, honest, fair, and got my problem sorted out quickly.

I had contact them after another chimney sweep company came to sweep my chimney and told me that my entire fireplace flue pipe needed to be removed, which would require a special order and to open up the wall etc.

Ben personally came over to inspect, took a look for 2 minutes, and was very clear that this other company was trying to up-sell me and it was total BS. This was just a minor repair and a chimney sweep. Ben explained to me exactly what the issue was, and why it wasn't cause for material concern or a costly repair. Ben's team also backed this up, and were crystal clear that I would be good to go.

Ben has clearly built his business on honesty and customer service. Would highly recommend him for anything you need related to your chimney.

Ben came to our home today to inspect our fireplace for possible smoke chamber repair which was suggested by another company who had come and cleaned our fireplace. Ben was friendly, knowledgeable and took a look and said our fireplace was fine, no issues and just have it cleaned and inspected every 18 months. I was thrilled to find out that I didn't have to spend close to $3000 (other company's estimate) for work that wasn't even required. Ben is now our go to guy. He didn't even charge me for coming out to inspect. That's how you gain loyal customers and I will certainly recommend his company.

Ben came to our house. He was great at communicating all our issues and to take a look at our leak and did an excellent job fixing it!

Ben's team did a great job cleaning and repairing my boiler chimney after my home inspection found deficiencies with it in the process of buying. They did a full cleanup, repairs, waterproofing and caulking as well as add a new top cap. Workers were always professional and ultra careful to protect the roof surfaces they were working on as well as very keen on safety, always fully tied off, which was a big item for me coming from the construction management world. Overall very satisfied and there have been no water issues with all the major rainstorms this last year. Will update again in future if any water or other issues but don't really expect any problems.

I highly reccomend Ben and his team! They’ve given me the best service for my chimney which is imperative for the upcoming fall & winter seasons to come. I will always be using them. More stars if I could.

We just moved into our house and have never had a fireplace before. We didn’t know the first thing about working it or if it was safe to work. Ben came in and helped us understand how the fireplace works and what we needed to work on as far as getting it functioning. He was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of it. He took his time explaining everything to us and answering all of our (and there was a lot) questions. We really were impressed with his knowledge and how helpful he was. He was on time and very thorough in his inspection. We will definitely be using Ben chimney moving forward for all our fireplace needs!

Excellent! Ben and his team cleaned my two chimneys and did it quickly and neatly. They also used a drone to show me real-time images of my chimney crown which was in need of repair. I recommend Ben Chimney Service and look forward to working with them again in the future!

Very satisfied, so far. From the free estimate, to the interior work and finally the outside brick work. Ben and his crew kept their appointment in a driving rainstorm to provide a complete estimate of work that was needed to be done. The same crew spent a day working on the chimney lining and exhausts from the hot water heater and heating system. They finished the job replacing many chipped, cracked or missing brick as well as repointing, flashing, and cementing crown. The final grade will be given after the next major rainstorm. We appreciate everything the team has done for us! Thank you all.

I could not be happier with the work done by over the top chimney care. We had an unknown animal stuck in our chimney for over a week. We called multiple companies that either did not want to help or did not show up for the appointment we had scheduled. I talked with Ben in the evening and he came out the next morning. Turns out we had a huge raccoon stuck in our chimney! Ben was able to gently and safely remove the owl, clean the chimney and add a damper so we have no more unwanted guests. Without Ben quick response I am confident that raccoon would not have survived much longer.
