LOVE him! He came and walked around our house to see the handy work we needed done. Instead of charging us an arm and a leg he did a free consult and told us how we could easily do a lot of the work ourselves as we needed simple things done like insulating a water line and tightening a loose faucet, etc. We will definitely give him a call in the future when we need work done. Can tell he's a genuine, hardworking guy!

Ben transformed a portion of our basement into a laundry space with a half bath. We looked for two years to find someone who would do what we were asking for; Ben turned out to be the guy! We enjoyed working with him. He did all the work by himself and we had to deal only with him which was great. Ben is very responsive and turns a project into a collaboration. We had all the material ready when Ben started the project, so he was done in 7 days and it looks great! We'll definitely call him again for the next project!

Thanks to Ben, Christmas came early at our house and my husband and I don’t know which gift was better . . . Ben or our beautifully tiled kitchen and bathroom floors!!! By all accounts, Ben is a rare gem and truly a joy to work with! Professional, personable, reliable, and responsive, this man of integrity knows his stuff. From the very beginning he listened to our vision of the finished product and gave valuable insight as to the best and most cost-effective ways to achieve it, including providing design ideas that never crossed our minds and stayed within our budget. Ben’s estimated amount and time to complete were more than fair for the work we wanted done, and included correction of several existing issues he identified during his pre-survey of the work space. Ben brought in crew of two to do the tile work but he always arrived at least 30 minutes earlier than the crew. He stayed the entire time performing other work (prepping, etc.). There were no surprise costs to us and he never tried to sell us on a bigger or more expensive project. Best of all and true to Ben’s promise, the job was completed on time, the quality is exceptional, and we absolutely love our newly tiled floors!

We were so happy and confident in his experience and work ethic that we called Ben back several days later to install a dishwasher that we couldn’t get plumbers to install. (No kidding!) He did an awesome job with that, too. Ben is the man! We would recommend him to anyone.

I needed painting done for my recently purchased house. Got in contact with Ben and he was able to start on the work right away. Ben and his team did an excellent Job and even finished a day earlier than expected.

I found Ben via a Google search, desperate to find a handyman willing to help us remove an old dishwasher that was stuck due to the previous owners redoing the flooring with ceramic tile that blocked the dishwasher. I called several places who were unwilling to try it. When I called Ben he was upbeat, positive and willing to see what he could do.

He arrived on time, assessed the problem and began to work. He encountered many challenges with the removal, but remained positive, telling me, "We are going to be OK". Through a series of clever maneuvers he managed to get the dang thing out and with a smile on his face! We will be using Ben again for any interior repairs or needs we have in the future.

He was professional, good spirited, even tried to save us money instead of the typical contractor attempt to convince you to pay for additional services.

My million dollar question was answered. The ceiling repairs from the water damage were completed within 1 day. The appearance was clean & amazing! As if nothing had ever happened. Ben was on time and very efficient. I need my upstairs shower fixed so it would stop leaking down the dinning room walls. Ben found the problem and fixed it right away. After he fixed the shower we waited a few days to make sure he had stopped all the leaks. Then he put the drywall in my dinning room back up. He did a great job! Very happy with his work!

Yossef is my go to resource for built ins, flooring, painting, drywall repair, and any time a neighbor is complaining about another contractor. He is friendly, fair, and has opinions to guide you or stop you from doing something stupid or wasting your money. I am hesitant to write this review because he is the best kept secret out there.

Ben was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive, open to the owners preference while also providing valuable insight to what choices might look like and whether they might be worth addressing right now or waiting (as some materials /fixtures are scarce and expensive at this time). Ben gave us a very fair written estimate for the work on our basement refinishing project, and there were no surprises that he later uncovered or charged us for. He brought one person to work with him most days to work on the drywall repairs from flooding and replacing a drop ceiling with drywall and overhead lighting (he also brought in electricians for the wiring to the lights). He did a nice job trying to
Minimize the number of boxes required in the ceiling to give the room the best look. We did make a few changes to the original plan, and Ben worked right with us, letting us know the cost of any additional work up front before deciding to proceed. The two things I was most impressed with were his great personality and his ability to be proactive and do the little things in a project that make you smile when you’re looking at the finished project, realizing after that you forgot to ask for something but they already did it. I’m super happy with the work and to have worked with Ben. I highly recommend Benperlas LLC and hope to have them back to work on more projects at our home.

We are very happy with the work that Benperlas LLC did for us. Yossef installed some new flooring in our kitchen and dining room, and removed a half wall separating each room to create an open space that looks great. Not only was the work done well, but they used their own initiative to touch up the paint along all of the baseboard trim so that everything would come together. I highly recommend them.

Highly recommend Benperlas LLC!!! We have used this company several times over 15 years. Yossi is reliable, honest, professional, and fun to work with. In my house, he installed a beautiful tile floor in our basement; completely remodeled an upstairs hallway bathroom, including the installation of a new bathtub, shower, vanity, closet, medicine cabinets, and tile floor; replaced a glass shower door in our master bathroom and installed a beautiful tile floor; painted numerous rooms, including our kitchen, dining room, den, laundry room, hallways, bathrooms, and bedrooms; replaced all interior doors with new ones; assembled our barbecue, several bookcases, and patio furniture; repaired loose slate on our backyard patio; and removed mold behind drywall on two occasions, once after a leak in a water pipe and once due to a leak in a window well. I am probably leaving out some things but whenever I have a repair or remodeling job that I can’t handle myself, I always call Yossi first to get his advice and an estimate. My wife and I are happy with his high-quality work and attention to detail, and again highly recommend him.

Yossef Benperlas helped us with both a new home we wanted to fix up before we moved, and our old house that needed some work to go on the market. He did a wonderful job for us - we look forward to working with him again very soon. He can do almost anything, large or small, which is such a great combination because he's willing to do small handyman things along with the big contractor tasks. In the new house, he installed a luxury vinyl floor in the basement family room, painted many interior walls and fireplace brick, installed recessed lighting and fans, created a better laundry room, and remodeled a bathroom down to the studs. He did a number of other small jobs there as well. He was extremely reliable, trustworthy, personable and we feel like we have a new family friend. He relied on many years of experience to advise us not to spend where it wasn't necessary, saving money for us while cutting his own fees, but in every case he was right in retrospect. On our old house, he did a lot of painting and drywall repair, replaced a floating floor, and just so many little things like installing railings, light fixtures, fans and towel bars. He really came through for us when another contractor left us in the lurch, and we couldn't be more grateful. We would recommend him without hesitation.

I have used Benperlas many times over the years doing many projects. They have done drywall, painting, carpentry and tile work too. Each time I have been pleased with the quality of service at a fair price. They aided me in preparing a condo and a single family home for sale both times we listed the properties for sale and went under contract within days.
