BCC directed an excellent team remodeling the kitchen, installing a walk-in shower, removing the popcorn ceiling and repainting the rooms. The attitudes and work ethics of the men and women were commendable. If work was not up to their standard, they redid it. That's commitment!

I used Bennett Construction Company for some recent updates to my kitchen and they were fantastic! It was a pleasure to work with Chad on my countertop selection and installation. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. The staff at Bennett coordinated everything perfectly from start to finish. The project manager, Zach was so easy to work with. He addressed all of my questions and concerns and made sure I was happy with everything in the end. I will definitely use Bennett Construction for any future projects.

A room addition was done and completed today within their timeframe. I used Bennett Construction for my kitchen and bathroom remodel and was very pleased with their work. Most importantly is their honesty and business ethics. I did not seek another bid for the addition because their bid was within my budget and I knew the quality work I would get. Our experience with Bennett Construction was extremely positive, from the quoting process all the way to the finishing touches! I am a question asking person, and I was never made to feel like I was an annoyance or burden. At the end of every day our house was left swept up and tidied, no big piles and things strewn about. Zach the project manager was very easy to work with and was always communicating what was going on. Emily the salesperson was extremely helpful in answering all my questions during the quoting process. Very knowledgeable about the construction process and what would/needed to happen. Bennett Construction helped me with an insurance build back from a frozen pipe in January 2024. Emily, the office manager, and her husband Zach were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They listened to what I wanted and addressed every concern I had. The crews were all extremely friendly and careful. They treated my house like their own. There were some hiccups with the crews and their schedules, but Zach was able to smooth it over. Great work and great people!

The contractor and Zack were a delight to work with and performed their duties with the utmost care. A set of bifold doors were custom built to bring the balcony and the living space together. First off, their patience was exemplary while I went through my indecisive phase of picking out floor tile, paint color, shower style, accessories, etc. The crews worked well together and communication was key. The outcome, is what I would call stunning. Had an old 50's kitchen which really needed to be gutted and built from the ground up. Every one I dealt with was pleasant, professional and the hardest thing to find today, ON TIME.
Always, was kept abreast of the workers coming, schedules and progress by Zack. He really is a ringleader to coordinate everything! And a super cool guy! I felt so completely trusting of these guys, that several days when I had to be out of town, I gave them the key to do the work!! True.

You'll also see a 3 star review by me. That was an error. I can't figure out how to delete it. We asked Bennet to bid on our bathroom renovation. In the end we went with someone else, but Bennet seemed very good and was responsive.

We built a large garage addition with Bennett Construction Company. Their estimate was very fair, and Cesar and Jon were excellent! Very responsive to all things that routinely come up with projects, large or small. Made sure everything was done correctly. Always professional and the end result is fantastic!! I definitely recommend them and will be working with them again!

Having had to terminate my initial contractor part way though a major Renovation Bennett came though and put together a solution to finish my project and set us up for success as we chip away at other projects with them in the comming years. My whole process couldn't have been in better hands. The Zach and Emily team are 10/10 in my book.

After a couple years in the planning, my dream kitchen is complete! Zach Brown, our project manager from Bennett construction, was awesome! He was patient and professional throughout the project. All of the “crews” brought into our home were friendly and respectful. We did hit a snag or two along the way but Zach always remained calm and handled quickly. Very responsive and professional. We were kept up to date. They were diligent about keeping the rest of our house protected and clean. This is the second renovation we’ve used Bennett Construction for, and we’ll use them again.

The biggest construction mistake I ever made was not hiring Bennett Construction in the first place. Instead, I hired a contractor who was less expensive and recommended by a friend. He botched the job, and guess who I called to fix it. Cesar and Jon came riding over the hill to fix the problems and complete the job. We are very happy with our new patio room, and I highly recommend Bennett construction for anyone wanting an addition or remodel.

Great experience with everyone involved with Bennett Construction! I had three major projects: complete renovation of a staircase and lighting going upstairs; new quartz countertop, sink, and plumbing fixtures in the master bath; and new granite countertops and sink in the kitchen. I can do most things in a home, so I had some idea about what would be involved. They exceeded all my expectations.

JOB 3 Feb. 2025

Just had Bennet Construction complete the replacing of all the tile in our home (3 baths, kitchen, and entry way. We went from ceramic to porcelain. Also replaced two of three toilets, a bath sink, and the water valves for our clothes washer. I could not ask for better work crews and project managers. Zack and Emily (husband and wife team) have overseen each job. Both of them are incredibly knowledgeable. If possible I would give Bennett more stars! FULL FIVE FOR EVERYONE!

I decided to do a refresh of my kitchen – not a gut job renovation, but just freshening up paint, new counters and floors, and appliances. The team at Bennett Construction Company was an excellent partner in completing the work. Emily and Zack worked with me and made sure that I was updated on what work was happening and what to expect. Everything was done in a timely manner (even with appliance delays) and my kitchen looks like its brand new! I highly recommend Bennett Construction Company for remodeling and other construction needs.

Bennett Construction was recommended to us when we wanted to re-do our shower. They were very knowledgeable and efficient, and we got exactly what we wanted at a reasonable cost. Emily and Zach and crew kept in touch with us at each stage of the process. We recommend them highly.

Came to my home to give us an estimate on some repairs needed. Was more interested in trying to sell us a master bath remodel than the work we were asking for a quote on. Then asked me, "Are there other bidders?" Responded yes. Obviously we are going to get more than one bid. They left and ghosted us. Never responded back. Completely unprofessional. Unless you're worth $$$ their time they are not interested in helping you. 2 stars because at least this company showed up. Never will use.

Bennett Construction has really become family. The team at Bennett took us under their wing and handled everything and put our mind at ease. Our story is unusual in that we were in the process of moving from California to our new home in Lakeland Tennessee and we bought our new home sight unseen. We were taking a huge risk but we love Tennessee and the home and property we chose seemed to be such a great fit for us. Since our new home is an older house we had some really fun ideas to bring it up to date. We were also coming with some very unconventional ideas that we hoped to incorporate. That is where Bennett came in. From the initial meeting we were so excited. An entire Bennett team came to meet us at our home and walk through every idea we had and we were provided with expert advice and guidance regarding engineering, electrical, painting, design and more. We decided to do an open concept and remove a few walls and more. Bennett provided a series of specialized teams from within their organization who handled everything beautifully. They provided us a reasonable estimation with a guarantee that no matter what happened the price would not increase. This was honestly what sealed the deal for us. It is easy to see where cost could increase and get out of control. However, this was not the case with Bennett. They were true to their word. Not a penny more than the original estimation. They promised that if they ran into something unforeseen that our cost would not increase. I did add a few things in along the way and all of those changes were communicated to me clearly and I was provided with the cost of the change orders before I signed off on them. The project management team went above and beyond to help us with so many endless details. The entire experience was amazing and everything came out beautifully. We now have new friends and a company we trust wholeheartedly. We are already planning a few more fun projects and updates that we didn't schedule in the first go-around. I can't thank Bennett enough for accommodating us and for being so trustworthy. Remember that we were coordinating all of these modifications from California before we were able to move to Tennessee due to complications with my work schedule and relocation. Bennett has proven to be capable, trustworthy, friendly, accommodating, experienced, professional, skilled craftsman, excellent communicators and detail oriented. Our home is beautiful thanks to Bennett Construction Company!

Great relationship with the project manager Zac Brown. Quality of the work by the sub contractors was very good. Things were completed in a timely manner. No complaints.

We had a kitchen renovation with a wall removed opening to the den. From the consultation to the completed job, Jon and Cesar were professional, competent, and friendly. The work was high quality, and they helped us to get everything right. Just a great company to work with.

Loved working with the team at Bennett on the remodel of our 1920s bungalow. We had a pretty big project— a complete kitchen and laundry overhaul and a new owner’s suite bathroom and walk-in closet. Being that it’s an older home, there were lots of structural, electrical, and plumbing needs to account for and the team did a great job staying on track and budget. We enjoyed everyone they brought to work in our house and the final product is just beautiful— they maintained our home’s character but updated it and made it “ours”— Highly recommend them!

Bennett Construction has completed 2 projects for us and we are getting ready to do a 3rd project. The most recent was a backyard pavilion with stone fireplace and outdoor kitchen. Cesar and his crew did a fantastic job. Their attention to detail was outstanding. They are focused on customer service and quality workmanship. Would highly recommend!

We obtained five bids on our bath and a half renovation. During the estimate process, Ken and Rob provided a sound estimate, and offered great ideas for us to consider. We are so pleased we chose Bennett for our project. During the demolition phase, they discovered a serious problem with our floor joist. Rob assured us this was just an opportunity to them. We had a bad experience with a contractor in the past and thought here we go. We didn’t need to worry because they simply worked through the “opportunity” and resolved it completely. Their expertise and attention to details is beyond compare. We now a stunning bathroom and hoping to work with them on another project! You will not go wrong by contracting Ken and his team for your project.

2021 has been a year of surprises and one of the best has been working with Bennett Construction Company (BCC). This is our 3rd major project with them (full remodels of 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen). Once again they delivered as planned and exceeded our expectations! This last project was a full remodel of the 2nd floor bathroom (21 years old). Our goal was minimalism with a simple, elegant, organic feel. The biggest challenge of the entire project was we wanted a floating wood vanity with no cabinets or pipes below. It turned out this was not something you could easily buy. After a lot of research, our designer, Rebekkah Davies Interiors + Design ended up providing a rough draft of the vanity design to BCC and they amiably agreed to include the building of a custom vanity in their estimate. The end result is a beautiful white oak vanity that is the focal point of the bathroom. It was essential in creating the warmth needed to balance the space for the organic feel we desired. There were many challenges during the remodel and our BCC project manager, Rob Roy, met each one of them with a smile and an attitude that this was just another “opportunity”. Everything was completed perfectly and on time. Following are some before and after photos! We highly recommend Bennett Construction Company for making your home dreams come true.

Bennett Construction removed two walls to open up our kitchen/living room/dining area into one large space as well as helping facilitate our kitchen remodel. Our project manager Cesar was awesome to work with. He communicated clearly what work was to be done and what expectations would be. His crews were punctual and courteous every day. Any tweaking of original plans was met with a can-do attitude. I will use this company again in the future!!

Jon Belleau managed our job very efficiently. He kept us informed as to what was to happen when and all workers showed up on time. They removed an existing tile floor in an upstairs bath and laid a new one with minimum disruption. A different crew came to install a wood closet floor. We were happy with the entire process and the floors look great.

After an experience with nesting bees in our front porch column, John Belleau responded within 24 hours after the panel on our column was removed. John not only replaced the paneling snd moldings in a timely and professional manner, he repainted the entire column. This is just another example of the Bennett Construction excellence in all products and repairs. We recommend Bennett to any and oall friends.

I contracted with Bennett Construction with Ken Joyner as project manager to renovate a very outdated condominium before we moved in from out-of-state. I was thrilled with how easy it was to work with him and communicate at a distance. He was able to critique my ideas and make positive suggestions. Everything he recommended was spot on. If I was not sure about a decision, I left it up to Ken. I can’t imagine anyone doing a better job.

We have dealt with Bennett Construction Company since 1988! They have done 6 major extensive remodeling projects for us since then the most recent this spring. Ken, Jon, Jerrell and their entire Bennett Construction team are true professionals who have their clients true interests at heart. A great team to deal with!

Ken Joyner of Bennett Construction remodeled 2 bathrooms, built a detached garage, converted a screened porch into a 4 season room, and replaced back kitchen windows with a big picture window with side casement windows. Each project was at different times over a 2-3 year time frame. Once we saw how easy it was to work with Ken and Hannah Bobo, we just kept finding projects we had been wanting to have done but didn’t know how to get them done. My husband and I are both engineers and are very particular on the design and quality of workmanship. We are very pleased with all of the work Ken and Hannah have done for us. Ken made several suggestions over the course of the different projects that were big improvements over what we had planned such as the placement of a wall and the type and size of windows. Some contractors do the bare minimum for the job. Ken and Hannah want to make sure it is a quality job the customer is more than happy with. Some of my friends told me that we could do the remodel ourselves without hiring a contractor. Boy, am I glad I did not go that route. Ken’s design/remodeling experience and subcontractor contacts made the job go smoothly and on time. Ken and Hannah are very good at keeping the homeowner in the loop on the progress of the project which is very important in remodel jobs. I highly recommend them for remodeling and construction jobs. They are honest, communicate well, and do excellent work.

Emily our project manager was very calm and attentive throughout the remodeling of our bathroom. She listened to what we wanted and made some great suggestions plus she worked hard to save us money on the items we had to buy. The quality of the work was top rate and was done in a very timely fashion. We’re really enjoying our new bathroom. Thank you Bennet Construction.

Construction supervisor Rob Roy was excellent. Responsive immediately as needed and a real gentleman. I would do busy with this company again.

1) Removed existing double door entry, transom and sidelights, and installed and painted 8’ new double door unit with sidelights. 2) Replaced base caps on 4 porch columns and completely rebuilt 2 porch columns. 3) Replaced and painted trim board on garage door. They were very timely and worked non-stop (except for lunch break). We are very satisfied with a job well done!!

We will be using Bennett Construction again as they have been some of the easiest people to work with and have done amazing work. We had a “shed” building we thought would need to be torn down but they were able to come in and completely redo it using the existing bones. They turned it into, essentially, an extra room. Complete with it’s on Mini-Split AC unit! Anything we wanted to add or change was no problem and they provided excellent consultation on what could/couldn’t work.

Bennett Construction did a remodel of our kitchen and bathroom as well as additional painting and updates to the downstairs of our house. We were extremely pleased with their work. They were prompt, honest, and professional. The quality of work was excellent. Mr. Bennett was easy to communicate with and very attentive to our project. He was always upfront and honest with us during the project. The subcontractors were also easy to work with, giving us daily updates and providing quality work. We are very pleased with the outcome of our renovation and would highly recommend Bennett Construction.
