I recently changed insurance companies, and was in need of a professional roof inspection. Mr. Bartlett provided me a thorough roof inspection and assessment report.
Being a local of the Covington/Mandeville area, Mr. Bartlett’s assessment was based on his understanding of the weather systems (hurricanes, storms, heat waves) that affect my roof’s lifespan.
William was very courteous and respectful of my time. He answered all of my questions knowledgeably and honestly.

After having some issues in the past with other contractors, Bartlett Construction comes with my highest recommendation! They are professional, prompt, thorough and knowledgeable. Our most recent interaction included having our roof replaced and we received a lot of information during the process in order to make sure we knew what our options were, understood the differences in materials & could make informed decisions either way. On this specific job, we opted to add in some venting and such to the attic while the roof was being redone and we can finally go into the space without it being over 100 degrees thanks to their insight & guidance! Our new roof looks beautiful, definitely enhances the appearance of our home and because of the materials used (hurricane grade!), we feel confident it will last for many years to come. The thoroughness of the inspection alerted us to soft spots where decking had cracked and needed replaced. They were honest with us every step of the way and despite having gotten other quotes for our roof, we are so happy we went with Bartlett Construction! Bartlett Construction did a 1st class job replacing my roof. My roof is very large and has a pitched shingle area as well as 2 flat roofs that were creating issues. They replaced all the roofs and replaced boards were rotting. The place that was an issue is no longer a problem. We had family coming into town to stay with us and the crew worked long hours to get the job done before they arrived. We had added small jobs inside the house so I was concerned it would not be possible to finish in time. I was told it would be done and they did not let me down. I highly recommend Bartlett Construction.

William Bartlett and his crew did a phenomenal job installing a new walkway and wheelchair "loading" pad at our home. The design included several special features such as hugging an existing gravel driveway at the curved intersection of the front circular driveway, connecting to an existing wood ramp and deck, and construction of a temporary off ramp for emergencies. No sweat for the guys from Bartlett. It took four months of talking to other contractors to find them, but boy am I glad we did. Best contractor we ever worked with. Thanks Bartlett Construction!!

UPDATE: In addition to the great walkway addition that Bartlett Construction did for us, they have also just completed installing a new roof and the repair of hidden water damage on our home. We called them because of the great work that had done on the walkway and they did not disappoint! Same precise estimate, same professional service, and the same excellent workmanship as before. Bartlett Construction will always be our "go to" contractor for any repair or construction needs. Thanks again, William and your crew.

Bartlett Construction took out our old, cracked, aggregate driveway and poured a beautiful, sturdy, new driveway. They were professional, courteous, and responsive from start to finish. They worked to insure proper drainage in all areas of the driveway and cleaned the entire area after they were finished. Mr. Bartlett's crew were a well oiled machine working steadily throughout the days until the job was completed. Months later, we hired them to tear down a leaking, aged Sunroom and build us a beautiful, new sunroom. It is well insulated, has a sturdy roof, and a beautiful tongue & groove ceiling. It is now our favorite room in the house.

William’s (Bartlett) regular presence on site was very reassuring that he kept a close eye on the quality of the work being done that his name was riding on. Mr. Bartlett exceeded our expectations! He recently built a brick shed for my home. The shed had to be built with exact specifications for our subdivision and HOA. It basically had to look exactly like my home. Mr. Bartlett went far and beyond what we could have imagined. Our shed was impeccably built. Mr. Bartlett was great at communicating with us every step of the way with our project. What I loved the most about working with Mr. Bartlett is his commitment to excellence and his professionalism. William did an amazing job on our concrete driveway. We received numerous quotes and he was in line with the pricing ... but seemed much more knowledgeable and professional than other companies who quoted us. He responded to all of my husbands questions (which were a lot) in a timely manner and always had a solution. We also liked the fact that William was on site watching and overseeing he crew for most of the construction.
A side note: He professionally covered our att access with a metal covering and the ATT guy coming to hook up fiber to a neighbors house was SO IMPRESSED. He couldn't believe the concrete company did the extra work to make it right and didn't just cover it up.

Barlett Construction removed my old broken driveway and replaced with a beautiful new concrete driveway. This company did an outstanding job on my office building parking lot and completed drainage projects as well. The concrete work was exceptional. They went over and beyond the scope of work to make sure that every last detail was tended to and left my property looking amazing. Bartlett Construction LLC installed a new roof, installed a limestone drive, levelled yard, and removed over three 30 yard dumpsters worth of decade-old clumping bamboo. Bartlett construction. We originally used Bartlett construction for a large backyard renovation that involved removing a large
swimming pool and backfilling it, removal of an existing small paved patio and walkway to create a very large patio suitable
in size and strength for future use. The work was completed with such quality and precision that when we recently needed additional
concrete work we used Mr. Bartlett's services again to repave part of our driveway as part of a drainage project, build a limestone
foundation for a new shed, and a curved paved walkway from the previously built patio to the shed area. Mr. Bartlett's expertise and
knowledge of engineering and construction have made possible a perfect solution for all of our renovation and construction requirements.

Thank you and your awesome crew for doing such wonderful work on the demolition and repouring of our new driveway! My wife and I were very impressed with your professionalism from the beginning to the end. We are very happy with the finished work and will recommend your company to family and friends.

We hired Bartlett Construction to build a detached garage with man cave next to our house. This is approximately 1440 sq ft structure bricked to match existing house with a 4 hip roof and connecting concrete driveway. I will say it took Mr. Bartlett some time to deliver the initial proposal but that's because he's very thorough and wants his estimate to reflect the finished cost accurately without surprises. The project took about 4 months. This was done from May through August. As with any building project there were a couple of hiccups but I was impressed that William was dedicated to fix any issues resulting from his subs. While I did most of the interior finishing touches myself, in my opinion the building looks awesome sitting on my property and was done to my exact request. I requested his help again when I needed a culvert and a slab for me to put a metal building on. William came through again. He always keeps the property clean and tidy and does the work the way he would want someone to do it at his own home. Highly recommend.

A heavy-displacement 31' sailboat, which was stolen from me 20 years ago, turned up recently in a marina in Slidell, on the verge of sinking. I contacted William Bartlett Jr. of Bartlett Construction because of his expertise in marine salvage. He was able to quickly assess the situation, and immediately went into action on my behalf. William used his knowledge of the area and his network of contacts to quickly take care of the many complications of the project. He made sure the boat didn't sink in the marina; and additionally, that no equipment was damaged and no people injured when the sailboat was moved and hauled, which could have been disastrous. Finally, he charged me a reasonable price, although he could have charged anything because I was in a fix and timing was critical. Although this was a marine salvage operation, I highly recommend William Bartlett Jr. and Bartlett Construction because of his honesty, reliability, expertise, and his knowledge of the area and contacts, to get whatever the job is, done well and on time.
